Welcome all. I rested with my husband and son 14 years old in this hotel for 10 days. What can I say. We were very pleased with the hotel. Of course, we were not indescribably delighted, after all, the hotel is 3 stars. The hotel is modest but clean, exactly what we love. As strange as it may sound, we liked his modesty, his comfort. Very nice atmosphere in the hotel. The staff at the reception also left a good impression. We are unpretentious, it is not a disaster for us if there are no dishes at breakfast or dinner. Everything was exactly at the level at which it should have been in three stars. We can say the perfect value for money. There was nothing to complain about. Perhaps the entry into the sea is not very convenient, but, again, while still at home when choosing a hotel, we already knew what kind of beach it was, so the presence of stones at the bottom did not surprise us. But that's why they built a small entry into the sea to protect the sensitive legs of vacationers. The hotel is located at a distance from settlements, there is a small village a kilometer away, but it is so tiny that there is nowhere to walk around. The weather was so good that we were on the beach all the days, and when we weren’t on the beach, we went on excursions, because there is something to see here in the Peloponnese, and it’s also easy to get to the nearest city of Patras. So the pluses are on the face, and the hotel itself and its location. For us at least. I think this hotel is suitable for picky people. We especially remember the tour of Kalavryta, I would like to write about it in detail. Perhaps someone will be interested. They did not know about the existence of the Mega Spileon monastery until they arrived here in the Peloponnese. I will say more than that, we did not know that the icon of 36 AD still exists. e, which was created by the holy evangelist Luke himself. When the hotel guide told us about this, it was even hard to believe. You know, when we saw this icon with our own eyes, there was no doubt left, this is the absolute truth, this is indeed the most ancient icon of Christianity. . Frankly, we are not a very religious family, but we ourselves grew up and raised our children in the Christian faith, so that our entire family is familiar with the Bible. I repeat, we are not very devout, but even when my adult son, he was 16 at that time, saw this icon, he himself stood there and stood until the guide began to pull everyone back. We all remained under the indescribable impression of the icon, and indeed of everything we saw. After all, this village, Kalavryta, is located in such a fabulous place. And the trip itself was perfectly organized. No one was tired, everyone looked that they were supposed to, no one was in a hurry, our guide was unique, they would have listened to him and listened. Therefore, the trip as a whole was pleasant and, of course, very memorable.

The hotel is wonderful! Very cosy, clean, cute. The owner is a handsome Greek Nicholas. His daughter Hana is a charming, affable, helpful and extremely hardworking girl with an open smile and stunning blue eyes. The rating of the hotel is in comparison with the fives of Turkey, Egypt and Israel. The only thing missing was the animation.

The rating of the hotel is in comparison with the fives of Turkey, Egypt and Israel. The only thing missing was the animation. Yoga in Greek and live music a couple of times in 10 days makes it necessary to have your own cheerful company nearby.
The food at the hotel is so tasty and satisfying that it was enough for us to make a salad for lunch from vegetables bought in the nearest village. Although we dined twice with amazingly fresh, delicious seafood and fish in a tavern, where a handsome man in glasses was able to name the dishes we ordered in Russian. It is a pity that I did not remember the name of the tavern. The food there was absolutely delicious.
The only thing that overshadowed our vacation was communication with Vasily, a representative of the Mouzenidis company. I have never seen such a boorish attitude towards tourists, such unprofessional behavior. On the last day of our stay, when we came up to ask about the transfer, to explain to us the reason for such an early departure (almost FOUR AND A HALF HOURS!!! ), Vasily talked to us like second-class people. As we understood, this attitude was dictated by the fact that we did not buy any of the trips of this tour operator at their incredibly crazy prices.
Dear vacationers! You can book a car online for 50 euros per day (which is a very good price, because we had to rent a car for 78 euros per day) and send this tour operator away with his unprofessional approach to organizing transfers and the boorish attitude of some employees. With a car, you can drive up and down the peninsula, see the beauty and then not shake on the bus for 2.5 hours, having previously carried your suitcases half a kilometer to the bus down a steep hill (check-in to the hotel does not involve the movement of a large bus), when the road to the airport is a maximum of 40 minutes.
I wish you all a good rest. And I am sure that you will not regret if you choose this hotel!! !

The choice fell on the Peloponnese quite by accident. At first we wanted to fly to Rhodes, but the circumstances were such that after two unsuccessful attempts we realized that Rhodes was not for us. Just at that moment, we were offered a new direction for us and for St. Petersburg - the Peloponnese peninsula. We practically did not hear anything about him, even, ashamed to admit, we had to use the map to understand exactly where we would fly. The plane arrives at Araxos military airport.
We chose a hotel near the largest city on the peninsula of Patras (Patra) - Florida Blue Bay.
The hotel is located about 15-20 km from the city in the small village of Psathopyrgos. It is quiet, cozy and comfortable. The rooms are spacious.
The hotel is located in an unusual place: mountains rise behind it, in front of the sea, beyond which the peaks of mountain ranges, located already on the mainland, are also visible. And, as you know, only mountains can be better than mountains.
In addition, the windows face west, which means that it is possible to watch the sunset directly from the balcony.
This delightful place creates a peculiar local climate. Here the sea breeze is not always so gentle, the wind is quite strong. And in the evenings - a pleasant coolness. Accordingly, because of the winds and coolness, the sea cannot be called warm. The temperature is about 19-20 degrees, although for some it will turn out to be hot. The coast is all pebbly, but the infrastructure of the hotel is such that the pool, the beach bar and the beach itself are connected by a wooden platform, and entry into the water can be made both from this platform and from a small pier. In fact, it is very convenient - no need to worry about grains of sand and everything is always clean. Sunbeds are definitely free. The hotel has a spa, billiards, tennis court, volleyball court - in general, you will not get bored. There are no taverns or shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
For all this, you need to go to the center of the village to the right, about 500-600 meters (if you go along the sea, respectively, to the left, the path will be somewhat shorter). Taverns, as elsewhere, which cannot be said about shops - the choice of everything is very meager, fruits and vegetables are at a minimum, and there are absolutely no maps, guides, and even more so souvenirs. And in general, in the whole village there are only 2 shops and one shop like a kiosk. This moment, of course, surprised us and somewhat upset us. There is a bus to Patras near the hotel. The cost of the trip is 1.5 euros. The bus runs every half an hour until late in the evening.
Dinner at the hotel not only made us happy, but very happy! In Greece, we are accustomed to receiving meager continental breakfasts in simple hotels, but here there was a nice selection of dishes for every taste, desserts and wine. Very nice.
At breakfasts at the hotel, you will also not be left hungry: scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, fruits and vegetables - this is what will give you strength before the heat in the mountains.
We rented a Nissan note for 5 days. The car cost us quite a lot, compared to how we rented cars earlier in other places in Greece. We paid 360 euros for her and 20 euros for bringing her from Patras.
