Stayed at the hotel with friends. The rooms are large, warm and recently renovated. Everything is clear. Kind staff. I especially liked the food, large portions and very tasty. Breakfast Swedish table a large selection of dishes.

In short: I thought about going somewhere to relax, in the mountains there and all that. I looked at the prices of hotels in the Alps and realized that this is not quite for me, I looked a little more and saw that small towns in Harz have a very good offer, the place is not so promoted and the prices are quite moderate.

There he settled in Altenau (a small town in the mountains), almost for free. In a hotel that, in our opinion, will be Three Bears. Very responsive staff (which especially struck and pleased me, they even spoke Russian with me), a pleasant quiet place (however, in close proximity to any outdoor activities).
