But after some time, we thought about it and decided with my husband to stay in Evpatoria itself, since we are lovers of walking around historical places, and Zaozernoe is more of a summer vacation.
Switching to Evpatoria, my eyes ran wide. The main criteria were: a fenced area, a playground, a swimming pool and a barbecue area. I looked after a couple of boarding houses, and quite by accident on the Google map I poked at the Smile boarding house. In general, after reading the reviews, looking at the photos on the site and in the VKontakte group, we contacted the administrator and made an advance payment of 30%.
We arrived on May 20, at the airport we were met by Alexei with a yellow sign, in a personal car (with a car seat), he comfortably delivered us to the boarding house. After a five-hour flight, we were, to put it mildly, confused. But the owner of the boarding house, Irina, welcomed us cordially and took us to our room 34. The room is large, cozy and bright. The size of the bed, my husband and I were very pleased. There was a large sofa for my daughters, you could ask for a crib, but I shared the sofa with a rolled up blanket, and my girls didn’t even meet at night, although both sleep like two yules, they make 50 turns around their axis. The maid brought us a pot. It should be noted that there are a lot of storage places in the room: a large closet, two chests of drawers, a bedside table, a desk with drawers. There is a built-in safe in the closet. Large TV with satellite channels. Wi-Fi caught throughout the territory very well, several routers were installed, and leaving the room, my gadget automatically switched to a stronger signal. The room is very clean, the floor is carpeted, the necessary set of dishes, a kettle. Bed linen - snow-white, only some towels came across harsh. Hot water without interruption. By the way, the water in Crimea is disgusting everywhere, it smells of the sea very strongly, even after boiling, so only purchased bottled water is for drinking.
We were cleaned every day, in two weeks we changed bed linen 4 times, and saved me from my unloved occupation: pillowcases, sheets - everything was already tucked in! And it's always been done when we're not there. We come - and everything sparkles with us))
Immediately upon arrival, we went to the dining room, although it was no longer lunch time, we were fed very tasty and satisfying. The portions are huge, serving like in a restaurant. The food is delicious and everything is homemade. Two adult portions per eye was enough for four of us (2 adults + 2 children). Here, for example, breakfast consists of a large portion of porridge, a full-fledged second (cutlet with a side dish), sliced cheese, carbonate and vegetables. Of course, we didn’t eat at the boarding house often, because we spent a lot of time in the city, but still we couldn’t help but note the Smile’s kitchen and the cook’s golden hands.
In general, there is always (even at night) a microwave, every day in the dining room they put different water (for example, lime + mint), very refreshing in the heat.
The girls, of course, the first thing they ran to the playground. This is a modern complex with swings, a slide, climbing frames, etc. There is a rubber coating on the ground, a small house for children, a lot of toys and pear chairs that we love)) There is no sandbox, and probably there is no need, there is a beach nearby. They didn’t forget about their parents either, a large hanging swing, I really liked it.
There is also a large gazebo with a barbecue area for parents. Everything is well equipped, there is a sink, there is a lot of space, we gathered there every evening with our neighbors. Children on the playground - we are in the gazebo, and they can be seen and we feel good. And what kind of homemade wine can you buy from the hostess!! ! After him, we no longer bought bottled wine, except perhaps to take home with us as gifts.
There is also a children's room full of toys, but because we arrived before the opening of the season, the room was only open in the mornings. Since June 01, it has been open all day. And on June 01, fervent girls arrived - animators. Of course, we did not have enough time to enjoy their programs, but we had a lot of fun before leaving, and not only the children, but all the parents. During the day we didn’t hear the children - we didn’t see them with the arrival of the animators: sometimes they sculpt, sometimes on face painting, sometimes they draw, sometimes they practice.
It’s a pity that it’s so small) I can imagine how fun it is there in the season!
In the morning we, as a rule, left for the city, returning to dinner for an hour. The first week we were very lucky with the weather. Returning from the city, already as a ritual, the girls and we ourselves swam in the pool before going to bed. It's just a lifesaver in this heat. The pool is cool, three-stage, the paddling pool is separated from the main one by a large barrier, the main one is divided into two parts: for children growing from about 110 and an adult. And in general, the pool is high, just like that, walking around the territory, the child will not fall into it. And most importantly - a heated pool! In May, the sea is still very cold (about 18 degrees), you can only wet your feet, unless you are a walrus, of course, and we all enjoyed swimming in the pool. To be honest, this is the first time I've seen a pool that doesn't smell like bleach. The owners take good care of him, at night the pool is closed with an awning, in the morning Petr Petrovich personally collects leaves from the surface of the water.
We also really liked the sea, maybe we are not spoiled abroad, but the sea was clean. Clean but cold. When the wind picked up, black algae were thrown onto the beach in waves, but the employees of the Oasis beach, which we went to, removed them in a timely manner, which I can’t say about the neighboring Solaris beach (maybe, of course, everything starts working there during the season). By the end of our vacation, the sea was already noticeably warmer and we swam. The free beach "Oasis" is located just 5 minutes walk across the road. The beach is well-groomed, divided into paid and free areas. For me, it was the same there and there, the main condition of the paid beach is that you must take a plastic sunbed for 100 rubles.
Sand - small-small shells, the entrance to the sea is gentle, you walk 10 meters - waist-deep water, ideal with children! There are sheds where you can hide in the shade. By the way, they gave us a blanket and toys to the beach in Ulybka, for which many thanks, because it would be hard to drag everything from Novosib, and things are indispensable on the beach, especially with children.
There are also beaches further away from Smile, a tram runs to them, but Oasis also suited us. The season was not yet in full swing, there were few people.
The bus stop is right at the gate of Smile, by the way, it is called “Smile” (bus number 6). We went to the Kolkhozny market for meat and fruit by bus, and to the tourist part of the city we liked to ride on old Crimean trams, a three-year-old child walks 10-15 minutes to the tram ring)).
It seems to me that we went around all the interesting places in Evpatoria, there are a lot of entertainments for children. No wonder they say that Evpatoria is a children's resort. They also got to a grand show with fireworks on Theater Square, dedicated to Children's Day.
Didn't want to leave at all. It seemed that everything was just beginning. But the vacation, unfortunately, is not rubber, work is waiting. We will earn money for the next vacation, Smile wait for us!!!

The food is VERY delicious, prepared by chefs. There is a choice of food. The pool is the pride of Smile, big, clean, looked after very well. Wifi is good. The owners of the hotel are fanatics of cleanliness! On the tiles on the street, mothers let the kids crawl. Every morning, hotel workers even wiped the playground !! ! The location of the hotel is very convenient, the beaches are nearby. The most luxurious thing is that a minibus stops right at the gate of the hotel, you can go to the city, to the market, to other beaches. Evpatoria itself we really liked! When we are back in Evpatoria, only in Smile!! !

Simferopol - and the price was right, and the sea is close, and the city is "at hand".

The room (mini-suite) on the 1st floor really liked the original design, although small, but everything you need is present: air conditioning, a refrigerator for drinks, a TV, a shower. There are several beaches nearby - there were a lot of people on the "Oasis", but further down the street there are very few beaches: we are by car, both with rights, so I sat down and after 2 minutes on the beach with a density of people an order of magnitude lower than on the "Oasis" , though small pebbles are already beginning there - such a mixture of sand and small pebbles, but this is probably for the best - it is more useful for the legs! In the evening we went to the embankment - there are many restaurants and cafes. We went to the water park. Rested in the "Smile" from 10 to 24 June 2011 three of us (me, husband and daughter of 3 years). I liked it very much: the boarding house is clean, beautiful, the staff smiles kindly !! ! By the way, the owners of the boarding house Peter and Irina are wonderful. I absolutely do not agree with the opinion that those who speak well of the owners are necessarily figureheads. Our family, for example, lives in Russia, is not interested in advertising in Evpatoria, has nothing to do with the owners of the boarding house, except that we (really!!! ) are very grateful to them for a wonderful vacation. Peter met us from the train, during our stay they both helped to solve a lot of everyday issues, and the hostess Irina generally addressed almost all the guests and their children by name (and there are about 100 vacationers only a month, according to my ideas ! ! ! ), was interested in mood, plans and deeds. This was especially exciting for the kids! It would seem that all this is trifles! But it's the little things like that that make for a great vacation! Of the minuses - crowded nearby beaches! But this is the problem of Evpatoria in general, and not "Smiles" in particular. We solved this problem by going a little further along Simferopolskaya to paid beaches. It's much cleaner and less crowded. In general, we had a wonderful rest, got a boost of energy and positive emotions for the whole year! Again, I do not agree with those who speak badly of Evpatoria in general! A special town, colorful, unforgettably smelling in June! And the Evpatorians (sellers in the market, taxi drivers, etc. , etc. ) have never been rude to us !! ! Otherwise, they write only "horrors" on the Internet. We really enjoyed! Thanks to all!! !
