The hotel is actually very, very good! We took a superior room (because there were no more free standard rooms). the room was huge, all the furniture is new, wicker. A huge bed, a huge closet, a table, 2 mirrors, a couch and a place for reading (armchair, table, lampshade). Everything created an unusual atmosphere of country comfort. The staff is very attentive and smiling. The food is very tasty. Perhaps the choice of dishes is not huge, but everything is delicious, there is always meat, fish and seafood. Fruit is not really a lot The territory of the hotel is quite large. Not as big as in Egyptian hotels, but big for Europe, very green. Large pool with waterfalls, fish pond. The whole hotel as a whole is very cozy and tastefully done. The beach is excellent! Big, clean, sandy. When entering the water, first pebbles, then again a sandy bottom. Sunbeds on the beach are paid (7 euros if you pay every day and 5 if you take several days at once). The sea is warm, turquoise)) The location of the hotel is very good. Near the port of Prinos, for those who need civilization, and who want to break away from it, very close to olive groves, vineyards and other delights of farms. Walking there is a pleasure. The only minus of the hotel: quite expensive drinks at dinner and at the bar (but the cocktails at the bar are really tasty, all according to technology, not diluted). And the lack of free Internet (for me this is not a minus, I try not to use the Internet on vacation). In general, the hotel is very good. But it is for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of big cities, and for those who do not count every penny and whose soul does not hurt to pay an extra 100 euros for additional services (safe, beach, drinks). If you like nightlife, freebies and pools with slides, this is not the place for you.

Well, ok, the room was given 6116, we checked in, but immediately felt a persistent unpleasant smell in the room, they said antibacterial treatment, upon further acquaintance with the room, it turned out that there was no one door in the shower cabin, a soap dish with a chip, glass on the floor and on the ceiling the grill is closed with a towel, and this is 5 *. I made a claim to the hotel, but in response, we know about the door, and there are no problems with this, the soap dish was replaced. And the fact that water pours on the floor and on the toilet is also no problem)). We reconciled, settled down, and nothing foreshadowed trouble. The next day at sea, and in the evening we went to dinner at the port, because we took a room with breakfast, the cost of dinner at the hotel is 25 euros per person! In a cafe in the port, we paid 35 euros for two with a salad, a large portion of the second and wine. When we returned to the room, we saw that water was dripping from the ceiling from the grate, the table and TV were flooded with water. . We call the reception, they sent a technical specialist to us, we need to move, but the reception - there are no rooms, the whole hotel is full, maybe tomorrow, we thought to them in the forehead - return the money, we are leaving, they call back in a minute - they found the number. And actually found a room, odorless with a normal shower. In general, if we talk about the hotel, what is being praised on the Internet is not true. The hotel draws no more than 4 *, even the locals themselves say that the majority of hotels overestimate the stars. The only thing in a 5 * hotel is the prices for everything. Since the hotel is aimed at Russian-speaking tourists, there are many Russian speakers from Ukraine, Georgia and even students from Russia in the staff. In principle, the Greeks do not particularly strain on any issue of staying in a hotel. I met a Russian-speaking member of the staff, he has been in Greece for 10 years, from his words it turned out that everyone in the hotel knew about dripping water in room 6116, but they wanted to try it, maybe it won’t drip while we live there. He also told us about the mess in the hotel, that no one wants to work at the reception, it seems that in addition to Russian there is also Greek maybe. The beach at the hotel is for 4, sunbeds and towels are free, drinks and food will be brought, that's just the entrance to the sea on pebbles, about 2 meters, then sand. Wi-Fi is free only at the reception, the router is rebooted every hour otherwise everything hangs, and throughout the hotel Wi-Fi for money is 3 euros for 3 hours, 7 euros per day and 24 euros for 6 days, and this is a five-star hotel. If you activated a 3 hour card, sit at the computer for 3 hours, otherwise after 3 hours buy a new card. Wherever they were, and since June they managed to visit 6 European countries, even in Macedonia in 3 * free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The result is that the hotel is not worth the money, 265 euros for a one-room double room is too much. In Prinos, where Ilio Mare is located, there are many small hotels and many Europeans stay in them.

I immediately fell in love with the design of this place. When we first saw it, I remembered the Dalaman Hilton hotel, where we rested in May. That example when modern design does not turn the hotel into a hostage of that very design, but makes it cozy. There is a lot of air in the hotel space, everywhere there were giant curtains that my wife and I loved. The room was clean and pleasant, everything worked. The food is good, varied. Well, the beach of the hotel deserves special attention. There are only words of admiration. Sand, stunning clear sea, picturesque strait separating the island from the mainland. Everything is just amazing. And, of course, sunsets. In general, summing up, I will say the following: we were very pleased with the rest. And I think we'll be back in the fall, especially since so far the prices are pleasantly pleasing. Special thanks to Mouzenidis and our hotel guide. I liked the transport of the company, polite drivers, erudite guides (guys Margarita and Aleksey), went on a sightseeing tour of the island, and my wife was on a Philippa-kavala tour. And then sand, fish swimming up to your feet, and a wonderful gently sloping beach. The hotel itself is not as bad as some make it out to be. We cleaned, changed linen, towels, bathrobes every day. The staff is polite and smiling. Of course, there is a problem with currency exchange, you have to go to the capital for this, but this is also solvable. The island itself is green, there are many beautiful places, beaches. In addition, from the port not far from the hotel (20 minutes on foot or up to 5 euros by taxi) there is a ferry to Kavala, and an hour and a half journey with seagulls that eat everything right from their hands will not leave anyone indifferent, especially children. Yes, the hotel is not noisy, without animation, but who needs what, but in our room, and in others too, there was a CD center and we listened to our favorite discs every day. . . Despite the fact that the air warmed up to 35 in the shade - it was not hot in the hotel, and this was without air conditioning, there was no need for it, although there was one in the room. The food at the hotel is also good, well, not as varied as in some other 5-star hotels, but quite decent - you will not stay hungry. The mere fact that the Greeks themselves come to rest on this island already speaks volumes. So we will definitely go back there again....

The food is excellent - every day we were surprised by the variety of dishes. A classy romantic hotel, located in a very picturesque place, not far from the port of Skala Prinos, about 20 minutes stomp to the town.
In general, I haven’t left work like this for a long time, indeed these days were like an oasis in my daily routine.
We ate well in the restaurant (breakfast, dinner). We dined either at the seaside restaurant Anemos, or at the nearest tavern Bryans, in which, by the way, Greek evenings are still held, at which we attended and walked with a young man to glory !!!
By the way, it is very convenient that the hotel has Russian-speaking staff, so there were no language problems at all.
We could only sunbathe on the beautiful beach and drink soft drinks and cocktails at the bar.
And on Friday we even got to a disco in a beach bar. In general, we had a good time, but I will not hide that the Internet was lame in the hotel, it is free in the lobby, but it was rarely possible to catch it, and in other places for an extra charge.
I understand that you need to relax on vacation, but sometimes the need for the Internet arises nevertheless.
Returning home, in addition to tanning, souvenirs and olive oil, they brought with them a feeling of warmth and hospitality that remained from the island of Thassos!

We rested in classic rooms for two, comfortable, and nothing more, new furniture, a balcony overlooking the garden. The hotel has a half-board system, it was more than enough, the food was good, no complaints. The Internet is paid, but this is not a problem, because in the neighboring village there is more than one place with free wi-fi. Some complained about the lack of entertainment, animation, but in such a hotel it would be superfluous. I can recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday, especially for couples. You don't have to worry about being bored - you can always take a car and drive around the island, where there really is something to see. Not far by the way, the port of Limenas is about 10 km away, where it is quite busy, including at night.
