Many of the rooms have finally changed the carpeting, which used to be full of dark and white spots. But the cleaning in the rooms is still of poor quality, the plumbing is rusty, the furniture and towels are stained with dirt. Food - a separate sad song. The hotel staff is unsmiling and slow. I suspect. that they save and pay modestly, because a good half of the workers are migrants from Central Asia who speak Russian in a mediocre way. There is no mention of English at all. Since the vast majority of hotel guests are Chinese citizens, knowledge of languages for hotel staff is not important.

We settled in the hotel together with a group on a tour for the May holidays. In addition to city tours, we were glad to stay at the Pribaltiyskaya Hotel, clean and beautiful rooms, excellent location on Vasilyevsky Island, the hotel also has its own water park, where we spent romantic time in the evenings.

Mass cons:
- old rooms, rooms on the 8th floor and below have been renovated, but even in these rooms the carpet and curtains are stained in various colors and sizes, mold in the bathroom, gray linens and towels
- breakfasts are held in a huge catering department, the quality of food is low, the quality of dishes is even lower
- the staff does not cope with the work (sometimes the workload is really big, sometimes they are just lazy), plus it is clearly written on their faces how they got tired of working in this hotel
- forever smoky hotel lobby

Theft from the staff is rampant in this hotel. In December 2010, my husband was robbed there, a wallet with a large sum of money was stolen. Police say this is not the first time this has happened. So everyone be careful. And it is better to refuse the services of this hotel if you want to spend your vacation or business trip without financial losses.
