I arrived at 5 in the morning (how inconvenient Aerosvit is), although, as they say in the reservation, check-in is after 14.00. There was nowhere to go this early after a 10-hour flight. At the entrance I was already met by the butler, they helped with things, of course for a good tip. The hotel itself corresponds to the photo on the Internet: beautiful, clean, the furniture is not worn out. The girl at the reception is very friendly (there is something to compare, I will tell about this in the review of the 4th hotel). A deposit is required upon check-in: about $160 was blocked on my card for my stay. Early check-in - another 50% of the room rate per day.
The room was 1407, for smokers (as requested), spacious, has everything you need (safe, hair dryer, ironing facilities, shoe care kit, tea and coffee, scales, bathrobes, etc. ). But I was surprised by the lack of an ashtray (read above). I liked the bathroom the most. By my nature, I am very critical of this kind of thing, but here I could not resist and took a bath - it is sterile. Very high quality shampoos and creams, which is quite rare. In general, everything in the hotel is cleaned in such a way that there is an impression of continuous cleaning : ) The bed is very comfortable and I just didn’t want to wake up. There is a pillow menu where you can order "your" pillow. Separately, about soundproofing: excellent, no extraneous sounds, which “made” oversleep for 9 hours.
“In the morning” (16.00 Thai time) the hotel tuk-tuk took me to a paradise for shopaholics - MBK center. This service is free. The reason for choosing Vie was precisely the proximity to this miracle of shopping - therapy, since she planned to devote her only full day in Bangkok to buying gifts and souvenirs. The location allows you to go shopping and explore local attractions (which, however, I did not have time to do).
Returning in the evening, I found a box of sooo delicious sweets on my bed and a fresh newspaper. It's nice, because I didn't leave a tip. And the ashtray appeared : )
The only negative: poor lighting, tends to sleep, and not to fees.
Unfortunately, I didn't get breakfast. And I didn’t order food to the room, so I can’t comment on the kitchen.
I checked out at 5 am the next day, the taxi arrived on time, they helped with the suitcases again and thanked them very much for staying with them. And I went further - to explore 3 more hotels.
In general, the impressions are very good, the service corresponds to the price. I recommend : )
