Excursions. They called Karlovy Vary of Asia and the Silk Road of the East. Very cool, beautiful and will be remembered for a long time. As for nightlife, this kind of entertainment is better to look for in Nyan Trang, where we sometimes went to have fun in nightclubs. And so the city is quiet and more suitable for families. But we were very pleased with the trip and we recommend everyone to go there!
Until now, I am delighted with the evening and water shows, and horseback riding. By the way, the hotel has a small souvenir shop, so you can buy gifts for friends and family on your way to the airport.
In fact, the hotel is very clean and green, it seems that the staff cleans the area around the clock. Rooms are cleaned twice a day, towels are changed the same number of times, bed linen is changed once a day.
The rooms are quite spacious, bright with balconies or terraces. There is a big fan on the ceiling plus air conditioning, of course. There is everything you need, as elsewhere, a daily compliment is 2 small bottles of water and tea and coffee.
Breakfasts are good, especially not varied, but you can eat from the heart: Vietnamese Pho soup, eggs (in all forms from boiled to fried, etc. ), a lot of pastries, fruits, sausages, bacon, ham, cheese, vegetables. Rice porridge with milk and oatmeal, noodles, potatoes in different interpretations, stewed vegetables, etc.
Happy hours for alcohol and discounts for dinner. Also at the hotel every Saturday they arrange a barbecue with seafood and exotic meat, a show program, competitions, a prize draw, at least something, because. entertainment in Mui Ne is hard. Closer to 22:00 the village seems to be dying out. There are of course night bars and discos, but there is not always a mood to listen to loud music and see a drunken crowd.
The staff is very pleasant, there were no problems with explanations. the hotel has a Russian manager.
By the way, the hotel opened in 2008, and what was pleasantly pleased, there is no settlement of only Russian tourists, about 30% -40% are Europeans.
Have a good rest!! !
The hotel is excellent, not big, but very clean and green. Located at the very beginning of the resort area, 5 min. on foot.
The rooms are quite spacious, bright with balconies and terraces. Equipped with normul.
Breakfast is decent, of course, the assortment does not change every day, but they try to do it.
You can also have lunch and dinner. Happy hours on alcohol and discounts on dinner, in November at least it was all there. We had a particularly pleasant time at the barbecue, which is held on Saturdays on a chic terrace overlooking the sea. A small show program, prize drawing, contests that do not strain. VERY IMPORTANT DETAILS Russian manager Valeria works at the hotel, he will always help, tell you, take care of you. In general, all the staff are very pleasant, although sometimes they do not speak English, but this applies to maids, security guards, etc. , those who do not communicate with guests. At the reception, in the restaurant they babble quite tolerably.
In general, we recommend. Solid 4, even a plus sign is not a pity to finish : )
Immediately upon arrival in Boryspil, it turned out that the plane was delayed for unknown reasons, as a result, the departure was delayed by almost 2 hours : ( We flew with Aerosvit, I can’t say anything good, the flight was 9 hours and there was simply not even tea and coffee, the first time we encountered this It's good that we flew at night, we almost slept the whole way.
We bought a ticket from Lanta Tour. I appreciate her work!
At the Saigon airport, it took about 2 hours to get a visa, only 2 windows and a lot of people. First you stand in line to get the application, then you stand in line to turn it in, then you stand for a long time to finally pick up your passports, very tiring after such a long flight.
At the exit from the airport we exchanged part of the money, there really is the best exchange rate!
We were met by a guy with a piece of paper on which our names are written, the guy did not understand Russian or English at all, they communicated with gestures. A small minibus drove up and we drove to Mui Ne. We went with my husband and two more from our flight. Another incident happened - in addition to the driver, the same guy who met us was driving in the minibus, a woman got hooked on the way, as we understood - the wife of one of them. go, what she just didn’t do, just a free circus. We, of course, "very interesting" was to watch it.
We drove for about 6 hours, of which a good one and a half along Saigon itself, traffic is something, 90 percent move on mopeds, ignoring traffic lights and any traffic rules.
I liked the hotel in general. After reading reviews about choosing a room, we immediately decided to take a room no lower than the second floor, but there were no free rooms and we were settled in the right wing on the first floor, which, supposedly, are the worst. We agreed after 2 days that we would be moved to the left wing on the 2nd floor, and then regretted it. The reason is that almost all daylight hours it is impossible to go out onto the balcony, the heat is suffocating. So it's only for sun lovers.
Another point - the staff of the Russian language does not know and does not understand!
The hotel is very quiet, there is a pool and jacuzzi next to it, but we never used them. Swimming only in the sea. Places should be taken around 7.30, then there will be only places near the pool. We borrowed from the beach. Be sure to at least the first few days you need to apply sunscreen, the sun is very active, burn out elementary in 20 minutes. I sunbathed only under an umbrella, I came to Kyiv as a Negro : )))
The breakfast is quite decent. Fruits, some pastries, Pho soup, omelettes, yoghurts, sausages, cheeses, vegetables, etc.
The center is about 15 minutes on foot, better by taxi, there are a lot of them, they all work according to the meter, about 30 thousand to the center.
They cook very tasty, I liked the restaurant near the hotel - Madame Chi, they cook very tasty sins with cheese and a salad with shrimp. Next to the hotel I also liked the "Ocean", a very tasty dish "Seafood in sweet and sour sauce", well, VERY tasty. I can also mention the restaurants "East-West", "Madam Din", "Forest". It's already in the center. We also went to Boca. There are about 20 of them. From the hotel by taxi for about 55 thousand. I liked the one near the pagoda. Our most expensive dinner was there, paid 700k (30+ bucks) and included - grilled shrimp, scallops, spiny lobster, mussels and green shells, red fish, salads and beer. They cook very satisfying and tasty, although dirty, an eatery, in short. But they cook from fresh products, so you just choose what you want in the aquarium and they cook it right there. And on average, it is quite possible to dine for 120-150 thousand for two.
I did not like the restaurant "Madame Anya", the prices are the same as in the others, but the prices are not the same. For example, if Madame Dean has 10-12 of these shrimp in a salad with shrimp, then Madame Anya has as many as 4! : )) And a long service, I didn’t like it, in short : )
About excursions - they bought vouchers at the 1001 Nights agency, much cheaper than through Lanta-tour.
I really liked the excursion to Dalat, fishing, to Nha Trang to the islands. I did not like the trip to the dunes, some kind of nonsense, except that on the way back we were taken to the Canyons, really beautiful.
In Dalat, we rode elephants, Vietnamese slides (horror : )))), visited a functioning pagoda (very beautiful), a silk factory, took coffee for a tasting (bought all sorts of things for $ 35). The coffee is amazing, with a hint of chocolate, very tasty. There are also a lot of different candied fruits, we bought several packs of candied roses, I recommend; )
In Nha Trang we went to the islands, on each there is something new - deer, monkeys, elephants, ostriches, you can feed them all from your hands.
Fishing is also good, in any case you will catch something, and then this fish will be cooked for you and served with local Dalat wine.
Excursions to Dalat and the islands were led by the Vietnamese Tolik, he speaks quite tolerably in Russian, tells everything very interestingly, answers any questions regarding the life of Vietnam. If you meet, say hello : )
On the penultimate day, we went by local bus number 1 to Phan Thiet itself, nothing special, a small enough town, we went to the local COOP supermarket, there was nothing interesting there, we bought only local spices.
Of the unpleasant - only the attitude of our tour operator Lanta-tour. Then it was not yet known about their plight, the attitude was none. They saw their guide Daria once, did not tell anything, but only offered to buy tour tickets from her.
Next, about our departure and our last day at the hotel. This is something, I thought I would turn gray : (
Departure from the hotel was scheduled for 19.00, and the room had to be vacated at 12.00. We wanted to extend our stay, but our room was already booked and there were no free rooms at all. Chinese NG: ) We called our Dasha, our Dasha....How to be - she offered us to sit on the beach until the bus arrived, it's fun right? They asked us to find a room for us in another hotel, she said that there were no available ANYWHERE!
As a result, we found it ourselves, just went to the first one on the second line and rented a room for $ 25. No problem; )
After that, they called this Darya with a request to warn the driver so that he would pick us up from there, anyway, after all, on the road. And at the reception in Alezba they left information about where we are, just in case. Both Daria and the reception assured us that there would be no problems anywhere. So, at 18.55, we stood by the road with our suitcases and waited for our bus, waited about 15 minutes and decided to go to Alezba, but what if?... I waited for our bus and then it turned out that they didn’t want to pick us up! We are on the list, but the driver does not want to pick us up. we're out of place. In general, I noticed that the Vietnamese act clearly according to the instructions, that's how it was with this driver - he was told to pick us up from THIS hotel and that's it, even if you crack! Nobody warned him, the girl from the reception couldn't understand anything either. Horror, I already thought that they would leave without us. Thank you very much to the girl Nastya from Odessa !!! , who helped me explain them, if not for her, I don’t know what would have happened.
This was the only negative impression about the rest, otherwise, in general, everything is fine : )
The beach is cleaned every day, but the fishermen are very littering anyway.
The food is just excellent at a European level with a Vietnamese accent, offering various Vietnamese soups for breakfast. I recommend to try. In the evening we ordered fish, very tasty, but more expensive than in restaurants outside the hotel. But the territory is not so hot, as you sit near the sea and look at the sea. I recommend ordering only fish, since only in Phan Thiet there are a lot of fish, it was caught today and is offered to you. This city is famous for its variety of fresh fish. More recently it was a fishing village.
The most unpleasant thing on a trip is the road to the hotel, exhausting everyone, even the most persistent. The roads in Vietnam are very bad, so the speed limit is low. The transfer was booked, but it is a poor bus with poor air conditioning. Recommend everyone to take a taxi with good air conditioning, although it is a bit expensive but worth it. Then the road takes not 6 hours, but 4.5 hours. Taxi is paid by the meter.
Towels are changed twice a day, which is very good, since everything dries badly. Really not very convenient bottles with shampoo and conditioner. I'm glad I brought the shampoo. I used the spa at the hotel and was very pleased. The massage is professional and not expensive. Outside the territory they offer 5% cheaper, but walking in the heat outside the territory across the road with active traffic after a massage is unpleasant. And it's nice to walk through the beautiful territory of the hotel.
Directly at the hotel I ordered acupuncture sessions (acupuncture). Dr. Wo Tan Nam served me. Everything is very professional, neat and friendly. He has a doctor's license. His phone number is 091.98 7.98 (mobile) and 091.45 5.14. One session costs $20.
I recommend to everyone who comes not only to relax, but also to undergo treatment.
Of course, I recommend buying a Vietnamese SIM card as soon as you arrive, as calls to Russia will be much cheaper.
Vietnam is an amazing country, a lot of exotic, I recommend everyone to go to Vietnam while everything is very inexpensive there.
Due to the delay in arrival, we had to take a group of tourists who were resting in another resort (not in the village of Mui Ne), that is, to make a big detour. As a result, our transfer to the hotel was delayed up to 7 hours. We arrived at the hotel around 20:00. Upon check-in at the hotel, they took away our passports and gave us the keys to room 633. No documents are required to be filled out either at the airport or at the hotel. What pleases is that there are no visas for Russians in Vietnam, if the stay does not exceed 15 days, there is no airport tax. The room is standard, large, consisting of a room and a bedroom. The room was booked in advance under our names, as evidenced by the welcome letter in the room with our names. The room is located on the 3rd floor of the hotel. No view - only one road. Most likely, for this reason, the windows are refrained and if they are not opened, then nothing can be seen through them. Quite noisy at night. A couple of times, local residents under the windows sawed boards with a chainsaw in the early morning. Such are all six-hundredth numbers. There are rooms in the hotel with sea and garden views. But they are a little more expensive. The travel agency warned us about this in advance.
The hotel is good, immersed in greenery, well-groomed, the staff is friendly.
BUT, IN OUR OPINION, IT HAS ONE MINUS (OR MAYBE NOT. EVERYTHING IS INDIVIDUAL). It is located at the beginning of the tourist area (but not on the outskirts) and if you go further inland to cafes and shops (although they are near the hotel) it will take quite a long time. Why go deeper - since the cafe there is cheaper and you can bargain a little. The quality is not worse. We found there one good cafe called BODE (not to be confused with BOKE, although it’s not bad there, people said) overlooking the sea (ride a moped for 10-15 minutes from the hotel towards the village). As you will see a cafe and on the right side of the sea, look for it there. A Yamaha moped was rented on the street from the same man (120.000 from 4 pm to 10 pm). To be sure, he arrived earlier than the scheduled time, so that someone else would not intercept us. There are no problems with renting motorbikes - on every corner. FIRST ADVICE - WHEN YOU TAKE A MOped, DO NOT SIGN ANY DOCUMENTS THAT YOU SHOULD BE IN VIETNAMIS, DO NOT LEAVE THE MOped UNATTENDED. Although stealing is not accepted from them, a young couple said that their moped was stolen from them while they were getting a massage at the Spa.
For example, I will give prices in the BODE cafe (almost opposite the cafe across the road there is a temple (pagada): fresh tomato salad 29000.1 crab 108000 (230000 - 1 kg), lobster 0.95 kg - 400000 (1 kg 420000), eel 0.5 kg - 125000, shells are small (take the small ones, they are tastier. Usually they took 0.5 kg for two. 70.000 per 1 kg. I also liked barbecue with vegetables and pork KUK LAK. Portion of pork and barbecue somewhere around 45000-55000 Rice is brought to each serving for free. They cook very tasty. Saigon beer, depending on the type, 0.3l - 10000-12000 (export).
At first, we went to other cafes located in the central part of the tourist area. We visited the NAM THO cafe (I liked the shrimp in sweet and sour sauce), the CATTUONG cafe (which is next to the Forest restaurant). Sat on the 2nd floor. Pretty good, but pricey. We took 4 king prawns, 2 oysters, a portion of rice, 2 beers of 0.6l TIGER, 1 bottle of Dalat wine. It cost about 20 dollars.
WE ALSO WENT TO THE CAFE KIM HU ADVERTISED IN THE REVIEWS. (Probably these reviews were prepared by the owners of this institution). The cafe is always crowded. And everywhere you hear from Russians. And why are you here? And in response: you didn’t read on the Internet, this is the best cafe in the village. WE DID NOT LIKE IT. An ordinary cafe, no different from others. The tuna fish is brought very dry. Portions are not big. A couple of times I had to wait a long time for both the waiter and the order. I forgot, of course, this cafe is different from others: after dinner, 6 very small pieces of watermelon will be brought to you free of charge from the owners on a saucer. No more.
In the room every day put free 2 bottles of water of 0.350 l, bags of coffee, tea, sugar. On the 2nd floor of the hotel, if you go up from the reception, there is a computer with Internet access. Works slowly, but news and mail can be checked. Skype, of course, no.
The breakfasts are very good. They're frying an omelet. COUNCIL TWO. DEFINITELY TRY THE PHO SOUP. To try it, you need to ask him to make a girl who cooks an omelette.
The hotel beach is huge. Width about 200 meters (MEASURED ITSELF). There are no restrictions on length. There is no fence between the hotels on the beach. The sea water is very warm. There are no stones in the sea, as well as fish. The water is cloudy. You go out not because you are cold, but because you are tired of jumping on the waves. Half of the days were sunny, half cloudy. But the temperature did not fall below +30. Be sure to apply sunscreen with protection of at least 25-30. Next to the pool is a decent enough outdoor Jacuzzi, which we occasionally visited (free of charge). Beach towels are free of charge without any cards and deposits, sunbeds too. You can take as many towels as you like.
Street vendors sell souvenirs and fruits on the beach. TIP THREE. TAKE FRUIT ON THE BEACH FROM THE SAME TRADER. She will remember you and will make a discount. Be sure to bargain. We took every morning coconut 20.000 dong. After they drank milk, they approached the same woman, she broke it (for free) and ate the pulp.
Money changed in the company 1000 and 1 night with Alexander (he speaks Russian very well). There was the most favorable rate of 21100 for 1 dollar, and excursions were also taken here. There are no cases of fraud when exchanging money. Everything is clear.
ADVICE FOUR. Do not use any roaming. Cellular communications in Vietnam are cheap. A SIM card costs an average of 80.000 VND. On account of 50.000. This is enough for 12-15 minutes of conversations with Russia. We were given SIM cards for free from Lanta Tour, with a balance of 50.000. Then we simply replenished the balance. We replenished 1000 in the company and 1 night at Alexander's with cards of 50.000 each. 50.000 also come to the account. We gave him a cell phone and he did everything for us.
It is worth trying the corn that is sold everywhere in the village. Cost 10000. Delicious. Fruit is sold everywhere. Lychees, rambutans (delicious, but quickly boring) 40.000 per branch (if you ride a scooter further from the center, the same fruits will cost 20.000). Pineapple - 20.000 (if desired, cleaned), further from the center 15.000 apiece, dragon - 20.000 per 1 kg.
A couple of times we went to the city of Phan Thiet (all hotels are located in the village of Mui Ne and it’s not worth focusing on the distance from the city when choosing a hotel). Our hotel was one of the closest to the city. There is nothing special to do in Phan Thiet. The only thing worth visiting is the local COOP supermarket. On the first floor there are products (they took beer "333" export 7600 dong for a can of 0.3 l. For comparison, in shops and cafes 12000-15000, Dalat wine export 59500, in a cafe - 80000), on the second floor - inexpensive things. We went by regular bus number 1. We were charged 12.000 for the journey (although the conductor has tickets of different price categories). They took the maximum from us (probably because we are tourists). Came here once in the evening at rush hour. We drove with the local population rather extreme. Thank God we arrived safely. Of course you can also take a taxi. Without any problems.
NOW ABOUT EXCURSIONS.
The first excursion was to the city of Dalat, located at an altitude of 1500m above sea level. The cost for one is 1000 and 1 night is 35 dollars (you can find 30 in other agencies). Very impressed. Take warm clothes with you. It is quite cool in Dalat, about +20. When we drove, in the afternoon it was raining nicely. COUNCIL FIVE. In no case do not take a tour from a tour operator. Firstly, it is much more expensive, and secondly, a Russian guide will never tell you in such detail about Vietnam as a Russian-speaking Vietnamese. Quite decent Mercedes minibuses go on an excursion. Our guide was a Vietnamese who introduced herself as Tolik. He speaks Russian well, he talked about everything in great detail. It can be seen that the topic. If you meet - a huge hello to him. At the end of the tour, I gave him 20.000 VND as a thank you for a good tour.
On the way we made a stop, Tolik showed how coffee grows. We had breakfast in a small cafe, where they took very tasty coffee with condensed milk for 10.000.
Tolik even offered us a photo session when we rode elephants. Waterfall first. Elephant ride 200.000 for two. Worth trying. Riding on ostriches 50000 for one. I WILL STOP HERE FOR MORE DETAILS. NO ONE WRITES ABOUT THIS. COUNCIL SIX. When you ride ostriches, wear either shorts or, better, some trousers that are not very expensive for you. After I got off the ostrich, people gasped. The entire left leg was covered in blood. Look, the leg is intact. Apparently it was someone's blood (the one who rode before me), but most likely it was the blood of an ostrich. There is bare wire in the aviary where the skating takes place. Apparently the ostrich got hurt about it. BE CAREFUL.
Second waterfall. Roller coaster ride. Be sure to take it back and forth so as not to walk. For two 80.000 round trip. TIP SEVEN. When you ride in the booth, wait for 10-15 seconds yourself, so that the booth in front of you drives off. The staff does not have much control over this process. I was driving almost at maximum speed and on the turn, having accelerated, I overtook the one driving in front of me. Despite their best efforts to stop, they still crashed. But, fortunately, the blow was not strong. After leaving the attraction, they began to offer us ready-made photos with our faces. The starting price was 20.000 per photo. After bargaining, it dropped to 10.000. Then we took a ride on the cable car to the city of Dalat. Drive 15 minutes. It costs 100.000 for two. Those who did not take the cable car went by bus and later regretted it. By the way, all entrance tickets to the park, except for the cable car, slides and other entertainment, are included in the price of the tour, as well as lunch. The dinner was very good. Salads, venison. . . even 4 bottles of wine per group (about 12 people).
We visited the Crazy House Hotel. You can take a look. We visited a store that sells coffee and tea. After tasting. Coffee 500g - 100.000-125.000, tea - 125.000, sweets 40.000-60.000 (delicious dried fruits. In Phan Thiet they sell these with chili peppers - you can't put them in your mouth). We visited a silk factory where paintings are embroidered by hand. Impressed.
The second excursion was to Mount Taco for $25 per person. After Dalat is much more modest. Tip - if you take these excursions, go first to Mount Taco, then to Dalat. We rode over the jungle on a cable car (the ticket is included in the price of the tour). Then 315 (he counted himself) on foot to the reclining Buddha. It is the largest reclining buddha in Vietnam. It is better to wear some comfortable shoes, or slates. Everywhere some stones, construction. My wife ruined the bass shoes there.
We were picked up from the hotel at 3 am. We decided to go in Vietnamese, which we had in the room upon arrival. Liked it very much, comfortable. Thought it was disposable. But when they handed over the room, we were asked to return them. Apparently, when they are washed, someone else in them looks like a vacationer. The return flight was delayed by 1.5 hours. Before boarding the plane, in the waiting room of Ho Chi Minh Airport, you can use two desks with Internet access for free.
