A hotel typical for the north of GOA, two buildings, a swimming pool, a bar and a veranda for breakfast and dinner. Internet at the reception and on the veranda. Breakfast is poor, but you can take porridge or scrambled eggs, they cooked to order for dinner - everything is edible. The rooms are old, the furniture is dead, the linen is washed, in general, as everywhere for little money.

If you need specifics, about shops, markets, prices - ask.

Hello everybody! Since when choosing a hotel you always read a bunch of reviews in order to make the right decision, I want to write my review about the Lua Nova 2 * Baga, North Goa, India. I have been staying at this hotel since 02.01. until 01/12/2016 The overall impression of the hotel is very good. Friendly staff, small but well maintained area. Since the hotel, one might say, is hidden a little in the street, there is no noise from cars, bikes and no nightly fun. On the contrary, getting into the territory, it seems as if you find yourself in your own little world with green grass, a neat little bar, a small but beautiful pool in the form of a guitar, where it is pleasant to have breakfast on a green lawn in the morning and sit in the evening to surf the Internet. Wi-fi in the hotel works well.
There are 2 buildings on the territory of the hotel, one is older, in which you get immediately as soon as you enter the territory, and in which there is a reception, and the second is newer. We got a room in a new building, it overlooks the field, a large untouched area of Indian nature. The room turned out to be good, new, clean, with a refrigerator, a balcony, in general, for India, especially 2 * is very good. But, as for the rooms in the old building, they are, of course, an order of magnitude lower in their condition, and as for bed linen, then how lucky... but here, the main thing is not to get confused and go ask them to give you a new one, settle down, set up your atmosphere and start enjoying your holiday. As for cleaning, it takes place on request.
Breakfast in hotels is 2 toasters, butter, jam, coffee with milk or tea to choose from and a glass of freshly squeezed juice. We had a couple of times orange, and all the time pineapple. Plus, there is a menu and you can order anything extra. At the expense of prices, they were absolutely moderate in the menu. Even possibly lower than in some necks on the beach. By the way, quite a lot of people from the hotel ate there both during the day and in the evening, which indicates the affordability of prices and adequate cuisine.
Outcome:
Minuses:
1. It is possible to wait with the settlement, but these are Indians, they are in no hurry. This is rather not the specifics of the hotel, but the specifics of the people.
2. The rooms in the old and new buildings differ in their condition and the likelihood that in the old one you will come across old bed linen with stains is very high.
Perhaps these are the most obvious disadvantages at the first stage, because then the rest begins, and you stop seeing them.
Pros:
1. Location is good. You can walk to the sea in about 7 minutes. Exit the street where the hotel is located, cross the road, turn to the left near the hotel-restaurant La Calypso into another street and after 5 minutes you are at the sea.
2. Breakfast for 2 * is not bad, + for freshly squeezed juices.
3. The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, every day they clean the pool, take out the garbage, everything is clean and beautiful.
4. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
In general, if you like to relax more on the beach, go on excursions and just enjoy your vacation, and not lie in your room, then this hotel is a very good option.
