Given the climatic features of the Maldives (high humidity and heat that does not subside even at night), this is a serious problem. The main drawback of the room is soundproofing, or rather the lack of it in principle. Not only is the partition between the rooms of the house made of cardboard, but it also does not reach the end of the ceiling! Thus, your vacation becomes joint with your neighbors in the truest sense of the word, everything is heard: you sleep together, take a shower, go to the toilet. No, not exactly: sleep if you are lucky with your neighbors and they also prefer to relax at night, rather than squealing, drinking and hanging out in a room with a group of friends.
Secondly, in my opinion, resettlement plays an important role in this hotel. We were assigned to a house near the notorious dam, which means that you do not have direct access to the ocean, the sound of the surf and any vegetation that provides such a necessary shade. As a result, in order to swim in the ocean, you must either go to another beach near the neighboring houses, or jump onto the dam near your own, and finish the water procedures in the same way. Yes, and the room without a shadow is very hot for the whole day. All our requests to change the number ended with a promising "tumor", as a result, they changed it three days before departure, settled near the pier with arriving planes, but we were even happy about this.
And, finally, the third minus, which does not add a romantic mood to tourists, is the noise of arriving seaplanes, technological noise (generator, sawmill, something else), since there is a technological block in the middle of the island that ensures its vital activity. Thus, people who are counting on a romantic secluded vacation on a quiet island in an endless ocean will have to say goodbye to this illusion (and do not forget about roommates! ).
As for nutrition, we have already written about its features, so the following definition will be concise: you will not stay hungry, but nothing more. The all inclusive package includes a minimum set of food and alcoholic beverages, seafood and bottled drinks - for a separate space fee, and don't forget about taxes. There were no "divorces". On the night of January 7, a Christmas dinner for Russians was arranged on the ocean shore with an entrance fee of $50 per person (with taxes - $60) for a special menu and a separate price list for seafood and spirits. As a result, the menu on the beach and in the general restaurant turned out to be almost identical! The New Year's Gala Dinner was also not impressive, despite its decent price, champagne was offered at a very large price (the minimum cost is $ 60 for a bottle of 6 euros of Spanish sparkling wine), besides, at 23-00 everything was curtailed, the products were removed , and all alcoholic drinks on the island after 24-00 become paid.

It will not work to get around the island along the coast, because. in some part, the water reaches right to the middle of the foundation of the houses, and in the southern part, the passage is limited by a fence along the territory of the water forks. The sand in this water area is rough and it is uncomfortable to walk on it barefoot (under-perforated corals). There is a mini fridge in the room with paid drinks not included in the all inclusive package. A bottle of 1.5 liters of water per person per day is put on the table.

About like after two hours of continuous diving from the pier with a fish into the ocean. But pneumonia in this case does not threaten! Some complications with rhinitis-sinusitis do not count.

A heron sits on a palm tree, in the morning it can be observed in the ocean, it will settle on top of the coral, apparently catching fish. I suspect that the gouged crabs near the dam are her work. Cats and dogs were not seen. The island is very green, new palm trees are constantly being planted.
They are simply not able to let their environment in, let go of their grip on the world and let go of the consciousness of their own coolness and exclusivity, god bless them.

Meals: we had 3 meals a day, which we do not regret at all, because we love to eat. Plus, now the price of lunch has increased to $35 and if you want to eat you will be offered "tasteless" like burgers with fries and all that (only 4-5 dishes for $5-6). The kitchen itself is quite spicy (because they are hot), so be careful when choosing, but they cook well, although not to say that it is very diverse. Once a week there is a "Chef's Evening", where chefs present their culinary art to the general public.
Also, do not expect an abundance of fruits and other fresh stuff from the restaurant, there is only: pineapples, melon, apples, pears, watermelons, oranges, mangoes, avocados, fruit platter (and all this is not every day, but on different days), from vegetables : cabbage, carrots, lettuce, cucumbers (some strange), tomatoes, olives and well, and something else. At first, of course, it's a little frustrating, but after you understand ....these are islands, so ce la vie!
Fun: animation - I don’t know, they haven’t been, everything else is as in the description - everything corresponds, the only thing is that it works on schedule. There is also a good sauna some kind of Steam Bath. There are Exotic coctails - they make you a cocktail that is poured into a coconut, nothing special, but nice, again, everything is 3$. By the way, they don’t know how to make cocktails, because they almost always have more alcohol than juice or water. The best in our opinion: Maldivian Delight, Meduparu Dream, Kapiroska. Bars are open until the last customer. Sometimes karaoke is turned on in the main bar (noisy, but everything is in English and other languages, so it makes sense to buy a CD with our songs there).
Disco - there was once when Kaliningrad divers celebrated their birthday - the disc reminded me of a school disco (works until 2), but at the same time they have some of our songs.

While sailing on the dhoni we saw dolphins, I saw a shark (but far away). Tip: take a trump seat, and it is on the nose. But in order to eat what you caught, you also have to pay extra, $ 15 for a fish - this is sooooo upset, because they write that b / n (minus BigTour). And one more thing, on evening fishing you can shoot the sunset, which saves you from choosing another excursion (savings). Our race also went to the fishing island and to the uninhabited - apart from snorkeling on the uninhabited, there is nothing to do either there or there.

Dinner is served at the Bar & Grill with lampada and drinks of your choice. We took Long Montain dry white wine from South Africa ($22) - we recommend it!
Snorkeling: I didn’t snorkel, I won’t say, but Pavel described everything in the previous review in the same way as the neighbors told us.
Weather: out of 12 days - 6 were rainy, which slightly spoiled the color of the tan + somewhere from 30/11 strong winds blew from the south, as a result, a strong wave, high tide, muddy water in the southern part of the island, but from the north everything is much it was calmer. BUT even in such weather you can swim without fear, the water is somewhere around 20 C.
Health: the main problem is NOT to get burned. I will repeat for the hundredth time, but be careful, the sun is hellish there.
Mosquitoes - bite, but there is no difference between ours (IMHO! ) + there are fumitoxes in the rooms.
Ayurveda Center: the main thing is to decide what you need. my wife and I did a synchronous, relaxing one - not very, unlike her, too soft for me, but at the same time it feels that they know how to do massage there. By the way, they do it not on the ocean, but in a room, near their "central office". For a massage, they swell a bunch of oil, which is washed off 3-4 times, so when going for a massage, take a minimum of clothes + which you don’t feel sorry for, because it will smell like you love it!
Other: all the staff are very polite, they don't understand Russian yet, but it won't be long, believe me (if you hear "there is no market! ", then hello to you from our arrival : )))!!!

So, let's say we didn't go diving, because the briefing is exclusively in English, without any translation.
We took three meals a day - everything was delicious, the main restaurant "Jaafairy" (buffet). I advise everyone to take a boarding house, because if you take a 2-time meal, then this is immediately a different restaurant, the attitude is worse, but, most importantly, breakfast will be very early, from about 7.30 to 8.30, and dinner will be late. And since there are no other hotels on the island, there is no competition, and the prices will be appropriate. For example, in our restaurant with three meals a day, a bottle of Coca-Cola cost $2, in a neighboring one $4.
There is one swimming pool on the territory, I would say that it is for children, the deepest point is 1.6 m, and two jacuzzis (solid bleach).
