We were seated without delay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and responded to our requests in a timely manner.
There were not many vacationers on the beach, perhaps because there are large stones in the sea, but this did not frighten us, the hotel workers cleared the entrance to the sea, and it was possible to dive from the stones. The cafe at the hotel did not work, but there was a wonderful cafe nearby or walked to the embankment (from the building 5 min. ). The room was not cleaned every day, but at our request.
In principle, we liked it and plan to stay in Assol this year, but this time in the Assol-Park building, because. it is located a little higher and in the park.
The pluses include the location of Assol, building 8 is located 5 meters from the sea. All rooms with large balconies and beautiful sea views. On the balcony there is a table, chairs, two sun loungers, a mini dryer. Standard room is large, wide double bed. There is a beach in front of building 8, which is very convenient.
Of the minuses - the room was not very clean, a lot of dust. I didn't like the quality of the bedding. Cleaning on demand. We put the garbage outside the door, in return they hung a new garbage bag on the doorknob. There were constant interruptions in cold and hot water, often there was no water at all. The soundproofing of the rooms is poor, everyone who spoke on the floor could be heard. At night, the music from the disco on the embankment was very disturbing, even with the windows closed. The staff is small and somewhat indifferent. The hotel has no territory. There was practically no lighting anywhere. Without a flashlight, it's hard to return to the hotel in the evening. There is a cafe in Assol, located instead of the reception, but few people ate there. We went to the "Dining Room" near the bus station, also to the embankment in the "Teahouse samahard".
The beach is concreted, the entrance to the sea is on stones, but we even liked it. It was very annoying when some vacationers occupied places at 6 in the morning, and they themselves were on the beach for several hours, when it started to get dark they came for their bedspreads.
Unfortunately, the impression is that the hotel management is not interested in regular customers and does not care about the image at all. It is noticeable that they save on everything. Although, with qualified personnel and some kind of investment, Assol would be a good hotel. We also believe that with such a service, the price does not match the quality. There are hotels in Crimea that offer much more for the same price, for example, a well-groomed territory, cleaning, a swimming pool, an equipped beach, a playground, the presence of the necessary staff (at least an administrator at the reception).
In general, we were satisfied with the rest, very good air, close to the sea, beautiful view from the room, but we will not return to Assol again.
