I would never want to use the services of the Nice Hotel, at st. Massimo D'Azeglio, 16, city of Rome, one minute walk from Cinquecento Cinquecento square, this hotel, because I consider this service to be very low quality compared to other hotels in Rome that claim to have a three-star service. When I turned to the administration worker (at the reception, to the secretary), I don’t remember the name, I look like an Albanian and asked why they didn’t clean my room for the whole day, didn’t wipe the dust, didn’t make the bed, they answered me: “And you just came.

Maybe you scattered this bed. I said that I was in the room for one minute, and the administration worker answered me: “So maybe you scattered it in this minute. » On the first floor of the Nice Hotel, there is an elderly bartender who, according to the manner of providing services, needs to sweep the street. And this grandfather has the duty of part-time comulazione to check how the rooms are cleaned. Of course, he does not check anything, but he lies in the eyes that he is doing something. I think that in this hotel the staff is not paid enough, so there are a lot of immigrants from not the most prestigious countries in the staff. There are good people among them, but I think they are badly paid and they do not work well. What is called breakfast in this hotel is not breakfast, but the devil knows what. Those few euros that the hotel charges for breakfast would be wiser to spend in a large underground supermarket near Santa Maria Maggiore and buy normal food. In this hotel, even for a short time, an interpreter was not allowed to see me. And a nervous, short-haired, dark-haired receptionist (I think Marta) said that if a visitor comes in even for 1 minute, you have to pay (per questo è necessario pagare) 35 euros. No other hotel in Rome has ever demanded any such surcharges from me so stubbornly. The condition of the hotel rooms, I have seen several of them, is in need of repair and in no way corresponds to the prices that the hotel puts up, even at a discount. I came to Rome for a week, but on the second day I wanted to leave this hotel, especially since there are still many hotels around where prices are not higher, and the quality of service is much better. But they refused to return even a part of the money to me, and the hotel owner did not consider it possible to condescend to talking with me, although I met with people more significant than the person of this arrogant hotel owner all week in Rome. Rome is a very beautiful city where wonderful people live and it is interesting to work, relax and travel in this city. But just do not stay in this city at the Nice Hotel, so as not to spoil the impression of the trip.

We were with friends in April 2010 in this hotel. A complete nightmare of the room, small furniture is old, the bed is squeezed water by the hour, and the worst thing is the presence of bedbugs that for some reason like to bite Russians. The staff is rude. eat tea and a bun. So it's complete rubbish. It does not meet the requirements and there are no such hotels in Russia anymore.

The room was no more than 8 square meters. m, the main place was occupied by a bed, next to it an antediluvian closet, on the other hand a rickety shabby chair and a bedside table of the same beauty on which stood a dirty and dusty telephone set. On a not very clean wall (decorated with stains from dead insects and a single poster) hung a TV and an air conditioner. The room was so small that two people in it diverged in a very peculiar way - one just climbed onto the bed. a tiny area - what is called a restroom - 2 square meters. m. shoved a sink, toilet, bidet, and then Cho proudly called a shower! when taking a shower, the drain of which was always clogged, the water flowed freely and, in the absence of control, flowed onto the floor in the room through a shaky threshold. We became happy owners of not only a classic bed and a bathroom (in some rooms a bunk bed and a sink were more often offered - you had to go to the toilet at the end of the corridor, instead of a shower - the sea), but also a balcony, on which other residents freely went out from the window of the neighboring room, a balcony I went out to the garbage cans from which various insects flew at night. The attitude towards foreign tourists living was just disgusting. emphatic disregard for any requests, when distributing dinner - service was the last thing (at first the Italians were fed, and then we were offered what they refused), we did not even sit in the dining room itself - we sat on the veranda, where other residents periodically went out to smoke. During the stay, there were repeated attempts to get extra money from us for the air conditioner (the cost of which was included in the ticket) in the amount of 35 euros (5 euros per day) and water.
There was no talk of any additional services at all (it was denied: keeping valuables and documents in a safe, storing food in a refrigerator, providing a hairdryer, ironing clothes and using a hotel iron, getting keys (even for money! ) from the cabana (owned by the hotel) on the beach, to storing suitcases before leaving in a special room and (it's even ridiculous to write) to using the bathroom while waiting for departure).
In a word, the hotel declared at the level of 3 stars - pulls a maximum of 1.5 - 2. Those who have chosen this hotel for their vacation, please be patient and new-passit. Your stay there will be unforgettable!

Without emotions I will describe the hotel. I don’t find fault, because I know the level of European 3 stars, I lived in 4 approximately. this hotel: all shabby, but you can ignore it, what difference does it make where to sleep, but a failed mattress, on which you don’t get enough sleep at all, is already closer to horrors, wooden pillows.

In general, the number 139... will remain in memory forever.
Location is the only plus. close to train station, colosseum. But it is better to take the square from Piazza Venezia to Piazza del Popolo. much more convenient.
in general, this ideal city, of course, cannot be spoiled by anything, but for the first 2 days we came to the room to sleep and were shocked.
