First, they met us in the middle of the night on the street, helped bring our suitcases to the room. At any time, they always answered all questions in a friendly manner and went to a meeting to solve our problems (I forgot my clothes in the room when I left, they sent a parcel to my home the same week).
Breakfast included in the price - delicious, fresh, varied every day. The room was very warm and comfortable, the bathroom with the latest renovation can be seen, the furniture in the room, it can be seen that it is not the newest, but neat and clean.
We also managed to visit the sauna, a rather big pool, as usual, you can swim, I liked the Jacuzzi outside in the gazebo.
I rate it 9 so that there is room for improvement : )
Foreword:
I booked and paid (100%) a family apartment at the ZimaSnow hotel for 12 days (5 people). 4 days before the trip, 3 family members fell ill. I called the hotel and asked the administrator to move the check-in date to a later time (if there are windows). The administrator confirmed that there are free days in March, but the confirmation of the owner is needed. The second option is to transfer money to a deposit with subsequent use. The next day, the administrator once again promised to agree on the option with the owner. The day before departure, the administrator got cold feet and said that the owner did not agree to postpone the deadlines or keep the money on deposit. So, the owner announced his condition: either the client himself checks into the hotel on time, or the client himself realizes (sells) his apartment to another client for this period. That's all! As a result, having been ill for a week, we left for the remaining 5 days.
I think that the administration and the owner of the ZimaSnow hotel showed their disregard for the client. ZimaSnow is only interested in your loot and the opportunity to swindle you.
Clients! Consider travel insurance and consider your risks.
So, the inspection of the ZimaSnow hotel took place in early February 2015. The hotel is well known and I have known it since last year. In 2014, he left a good impression and surprised with freshness (fresh renovation), cleanliness and quality of service. What changed?
1. There were questions about cleanliness. I looked into the shower stall. Mold appeared there (last year it was not). When using a shower stall, the poor permeability of the sewer pipes is immediately noticeable and quickly enough the water begins to rise to the ankles. That is why mold is oppressive.
2. Towels (they are white in the hotel), apparently, are not washed or household chemicals such as GALA are used.
Towels darkened and cause a feeling of disgust. If you are going to stay at ZimaSnow, take towels with you.
3. The smell of sewerage spreads throughout the apartment. Against the backdrop of a beautiful landscape, one must breathe the disgusting stench of stagnant drains.
4. The ski locker is designed for one person (maximum 2 persons). We have to hide some of the equipment in the corners and under the stairs. Well, let's say there is no theft. The equipment is not missing. But it is easy to confuse it with someone else's. So we just confused our shoes with strangers. Then they were not accepted at the box office.
5. Cards for entering the apartment are permanently demagnetized. Although, the administrator habitually changes them.
6. Service. The impression is twofold. The administrator or manager (a gray-haired man, whose name I don’t know and don’t want to know), is certainly not professional and, by qualification, is more of a watchman and not an administrator.
I recommend arranging him as a watchman on the 7th lift (where there are fewer people). As for Ivanka, she is great. Ivanka, if you have knowledge of English, get a job at Radisson.
Well, shall we talk?
Now there are many new hotels in Bukovel. Dear Clients! I do not recommend ZimaSnow to you. Choose new hotels that are trying to break into the market. Read reviews. More expensive doesn't mean better : )
Very satisfied with the trip, we hope to come again.
I can say that we were satisfied, we had a large, comfortable and bright room on the 2nd floor (203). It was certainly very convenient for my husband and our friends-neighbors from 204 - you crossed the road and you are already on the ski lift! But I decided to go skiing for the first time, took an instructor, and after an hour of classes, I decided that it was not mine. I enjoyed the sauna and massage. Ivanna has golden kind hands! Thanks a lot. I think that during the season there are quite a lot of guests in the hotel, and according to my observations, 7 people almost cope with everything! I would like to address the hotel administration with requests: please make the breakfast menu so that it is more varied, and also, I cannot say that I am a big cleaner, but the cleaning in the rooms leaves much to be desired. In our room, a light bulb burned out on Wednesday, flew out of the basement, after its replacement, there was garbage on the floor in the shower room, unfortunately, it lay there until Sunday. When we checked into the room, there were crumbs and mirrors on the floor, and the windows were covered in handprints, until I asked the girls to wash it, it was, and where I didn’t show it, it remained uncleaned. Such shortcomings on the impression of the rest impose their shade. Thanks to Galina and Ivanna for their help in buying a birthday cake.
Pros: good floor (laminate), solid wooden furniture, bathroom, new plumbing, bidet, electric heaters in rooms and bathrooms, boiler, hot and cold water all the time, clean linen and towels, cleaning and change of linen on schedule and high quality, good spacious wardrobes and chests of drawers where you can hang things, a comfortable entrance hall and a closet in it. Pretty spacious and good light, thoughtful fixtures. on the ground floor there are lockers for boots and skis, although there is no dryer for boots. Breakfasts are normal. there is enough of everything, there is not much space in the cafe, but 5-10 minutes do not play a role, you can come in later, but for now quickly go to the lift and buy ski passes at a rank action. The hotel is excellently located - cross the road and immediately ski lift number 1. A good courtyard of the hotel, there is where to park the car, otherwise all local hotels have a problem - they seem to be all stuck on each other and on the hill, besides, there is nowhere to go, let alone park.
Cons: common for the region - as a rule, the walls are made of plasterboard or something rather light, so that the audibility is concrete from the neighboring rooms, from the stairs, and it is wooden and the tramp is still the same. and the walls become cold if the frost is not near the battery. Double-glazed windows on the windows - balconies are also not very thick - there is not enough sound insulation, and given that the windows overlook the road, everything that travels along the road feels like it's in the room, but they traveled a lot, and even at night - they sprinkled the roads with special equipment, carts on horseback, on the lift at 21-23 hours a snowcat left and rang and blinked for an hour. But you get used to it, we are tired and the child, thank God, slept.
We didn’t go to the spa sauna, for residents it’s also quite expensive for two people, but looking for a company + 4 more people... "would you like to go to the sauna with us"? ))) By the way, the administration, I’ll say from experience, in Austria, for hotel guests, the sauna is usually free of charge...
Were with a one-year-old child, it’s convenient that there is a kitchen, though without a hob ? ? ((, but with a microwave, a kettle, a good large refrigerator. In short, the convenience of the location and the availability of the kitchen compensated for all the shortcomings.
An absolute plus of the hotel, the proximity of the first ski lift, literally across the road.
Breakfast, of course, is a minus of this hotel, but it was enough for me, but people who crave variety will be upset : )
