We are not the first time in Turkey, the residents are not picky, I am writing a review for the first time, because such a "minus" remained, not from the rest, but from the hotel, which is surprising.
The hotel is very rundown, dilapidated, it feels like there is no owner, or they save on everything. This applies to everything. They do not clean the rooms, even when you hang a sign asking for cleaning (we were cleaned once in two weeks, and the linen was not changed), i. e. they didn’t even take away the garbage, and when you buy fruit, this is essential. Fortunately, the roll with garbage bags was right in the bucket, the husband took out the garbage himself. You can say it's your own fault - you have to demand it. The fact of the matter is that it is useless to demand, everyone had us there in mind!
The hotel is 50 percent Russian. there are no Russian speakers at the reception, this is not so bad, there are hotel guides to whom there are no complaints - they try, but even with their help it is impossible to achieve anything, it is easier to do it yourself than to waste time endlessly.
Let's start with accommodation. We arrived in the morning at 9.00 - we were late for breakfast, settled at 14 o'clock (we walked until 14). The room made a depressing impression (photo attached). But this is not the main thing. Water does not enter the drain tank, since the drain mechanism can be said to be absent, the lid from the tank is next to the wall. Those. you can't use the toilet. Safe torn out "with meat" - missing. There is no safe at the reception. Double bed, but 130, no more - at home 160.

We are waiting for two hours, we cannot leave, I periodically go down to the reception to remind myself - wait.
The manager comes, takes him to another room, the question is: "do you have any problems? ". Two beds, safe in place, flushing toilet. I lift the lid of the toilet bowl, and it is simply filthy by the previous tenants. I say problem. She takes a brush, quickly smears it all - "know the problems. " And then I understand that everything is in vain, this is not a tape on the toilet with the inscription "disinfected" in a 3 * hotel in Cyprus. At the end of the corridor, a cleaning lady with frills looms, I ask her, pointing to the toilet bowl, to disinfect "pysh-pysh". She smiles, gives me a sprayer, sniffing it at the same time, is it the right one. Please share a rag - tears in half. I fill in all the plumbing (later I washed it all) and we leave for things, change clothes, finally we can go to the sea, and dinner can wait. But it was not there. SAFE! I pay $26. "Wait 1 hour" ?? ? What to expect is not clear. It turns out that our safe does not have a key and we have to wait until they find another safe with a key. The safe was brought under the arm (3 kg of potatoes by weight) and they simply replaced one with the other, it turns out that the safe does not fasten in any way. Our number is 3138, the key tag is 1118, which created a problem when checking out (at 5.20 am). Then they explained to us that they have two or three combinations of keys in total, so it turns out to be a "call-off". By the way, on the last day before departure, 11 dollars disappeared from the safe, a little, but one hundred percent true, since I write down the date on the bag with money, it was, I took it, it remains and periodically recount (I think if it weren’t for this plate, they would have lost more), but still disgusting.
Haven't been to sea yet. Dinner, a walk, a sleepless night the night before, they returned to the room dark, the room was in twilight (sconce lighting - no overhead light), fell like dead, until the morning. In the morning it turns out, oh horror, they slept on used linen, i. e. we simply did not change it after the previous tenants !! ! I didn’t even think that this was possible, and even in the room it was dark. Later it turned out that we were not alone in this. New travails began. Again the guide, "don't worry, rest, everything will be fine, your linen will be changed. " We are returning from the sea - only the pillowcases have been changed!!!
I take off all the bedding, towels, go out into the corridor to the maid and "bash on bash" change every item. We make the bed ourselves. The next change of linen in a week is by the same force method, since it is impossible to achieve otherwise.
By the way, about the declared issue of beach towels at the reception. Contacted once. "In 10 minutes". I come up in 10 minutes - he takes out a crumpled, not folded, namely a crumpled, wet, dirty towel (used). I return with the words "not clean", calmly carries away, without offering anything in return. Those. for the hotel administration, such an attitude towards guests is the norm in everything.
About the free sunbeds on the private beach. There are b / n sunbeds, but you have to go to them by bus, which departs from the hotel at 10.00 and at 13.00. Return respectively to lunch or dinner at 19.00. And on foot from there to go and go, for adults about thirty-five minutes, and a very uncomfortable road. And the beach is not worth it. Yes, and not his own at all, but an ordinary municipal one, where the local population comes to fry kebabs. Those. another scam for all of us.
As for the dining room, a separate conversation. It is the Canteen, the restaurant can not be called. Well, okay, it would be clean, the rest is nonsense.

I don’t know when their season began, but we ate on these tablecloths for almost two weeks and only the day before departure they were changed. She covered it with paper napkins so that it did not loom before her eyes;
- the dining room has not been renovated for a long time. The paint of the ceiling and columns turned yellow from time to time, I would even say browned, it looks very untidy. But this is not the main thing. When choosing a table, you need to inspect the ceiling above it so that construction debris from dried seams does not fall from above. Even chips of a length of 10-15 cm + a trifle fell to us. Then all this creaks on the teeth and you have to change food;
- you need to come to the very opening, otherwise it will be problematic to find a free place, despite the fact that additional tables have been set up. Because of this compaction, it is inconvenient to sit back to back, the distance is too small;
- come to the opening also because hot food, tea, clean plates can run out, sometimes there are no cutlery, glasses (by the way, this is the first hotel where they use not cups, but glasses - very uncomfortable, hot). When you ask if there will be more tea, they show that you have to go down to the bar (this is during the official lunch and dinner hours), which is generally strange. Strange though, no tea bags are offered, only titanium and three teapots;
- Well, I can not say about the cleaning of dirty dishes. Maybe I'm just experiencing this for the first time? Between the tables they carry an impressive two-tier cart (higher than the tables), on which baskets for food waste, dirty cutlery, etc. are fixed.

Then a showdown with running around around the nearby hotels and apartments, from which the dogs of the whole neighborhood begin to breeze. In general, we are not up to fun. Closed balcony doors do not help.

So, Orient Resort. After reading good reviews of tourists, and the price is normal, we went to this hotel. We were met at the Dalaman airport and taken to the hotel. At the entrance to the hotel, water drips from the ceiling and the ceiling blooms (which immediately caught my eye).
At the reception, as before in other hotels (by the way, it helped a lot: they immediately settled in and they gave a really good room) I put 20 euros in my passport, to which I was told "okay" (arrive at the hotel at 8-00 in the morning), and settled at 13-00 in a room with a view of the hills. The Turk took the money, did not settle us, and went home (his shift had already ended), I could not even imagine that there were such terrible rooms in Turkey: the bathroom stank terribly of sewerage, the bathroom shabby, we didn’t go into the bathroom without shoes, the room had not been renovated for a very long time, it was disgusting to walk on the carpet. True, towels were changed every day, and the bed every three days.
Meals: the choice is small, but edible, the main thing is to get there on time, if you get there later, it will be empty.
Sea: walk to the sea about 5 minutes, city beach, pebbles, 2-3 meters from the shore - and deep.
Territory: not well maintained at all, dirty.
The animation is not interesting at all, all the scenes are old, some of them were seen at our weddings.
We went on excursions with a street travel agency: Dalyan and went on quad bikes - we liked it very much! , and exactly two times cheaper than our tour operator "Coral".
Of course, we got used to it in a few days, tried not to pay attention to the fact that it was unacceptable in other previously visited hotels, and there was no other way out.
Previously, I did not write reviews, but this time I was shocked by such a 4 * hotel!

We were still lucky with the room and the view, the guys we met there changed 3 and 4 times until they found a less dead one, for example, the toilet was broken in our room, the master came on the first day, but every day he broke again, my husband had to fix it himself, so as not to wait for a hairy man in shorts and a dirty T-shirt, and with tools in the back pocket of his shorts! It takes about 7 minutes to go to the beach, along the bridge over the river where ducks live, the beach is public, but for hotel guests sun loungers and stationary umbrellas are free, but there are very few of them, there is no bar on the beach, and the toilet too, had to run to the hotel. On the beach there is only a shower and a changing cabin. Food...... there are a lot of vegetables and greens, from meat chicken, and in one form, fish was given 2 times in 11 days, and then the 2nd time it was fried capelin, from the proposed side dishes there were no more than 2 types to choose from, so we ate fries for years 5 ahead, although not lovers of this dish. Most of the salads, which are seasoned with sour cream or something similar, are vegetables that have lost their appearance from the past days, for the evening they give sausages, in a modified serving, that were left over from breakfast, the same with cheeses. Of the fruits, only watermelon, a couple of times apples and a couple of times oranges. It was decently sweet, but since I'm not a sweet tooth, I can't really rate it. In short, our vacation as a whole was successful only because we were not in the hotel at all, we were all the time on excursions, and in the evening we first tried to choke on terrible beer and gin and tonic, and then brought our supplies purchased in duty free still in Borispol. There are no Russian speakers at all in the hotel, as in all of Chalysh, as well as English speakers, in principle, because it is difficult to understand their "English". We were saved by a good company in the evenings, and excursions during the day, and excursions were taken from street representatives, by the way, there is one guy Ramazan there, he speaks Russian very well, a very nice guy, everything is exactly 2 times cheaper than Coral, from which we traveled, and everything is exactly the same, otherwise the tour. the operators start to scare that they don’t feed there and the conditions are bad, and the insurance doesn’t work - all this is nonsense, everything is the same !! ! The sea itself is not very beautiful - the water is unclear. But you can always take an excursion - a whole day on a boat through the picturesque bays (15 bucks). Towels can be taken for free at the reception.
2. The hotel is an old building, the rooms are small, but quite comfortable, the plumbing is normal, the free safe pleases, there were no problems with cleaning.
3. Meals - 1 restaurant + 2 bars. The restaurant looks like a large dining room of the Soviet times, but this is perhaps the only negative, the food itself is quite decent and delicious cooks - well done !!
The most interesting thing was that the average number of people living in the hotel was 40 i. e. at dinner, a maximum of 10 tables were occupied (at the height of the season there were 600 or more people in the hotel), despite this, every day they served to the fullest + good work of the waiters - quickly, neatly, with a smile.
A set of booze in the bar is a standard beer on tap, red and white bottled wine is very good, vodka, gin.
Location in the center of the Chalish beach area, 10 minutes to Fethiye by minibus - 2 lira or by bus - 1 lira. You can take a walk, and along the way you can buy something. (The market in Fethiye on Sundays - an abundance of fruits 1-4 lira. )
The holiday itself turned out to be very calm, the end of the season - the lack of animation and children in the hotel, no queues. Sauna and billiards for free.

Food is scarce, of course you will not be hungry (there was meat, fish, salads). The dining room is unsanitary - the plates are dirty. One person and cook and dishwasher and cleaner. I was surprised that in the village itself the trees were bursting with fruits, in the hotel they gave very little fruit. It was easier to go outside and collect it yourself. Animation in Turkish. The hotel was at first about half full, and on the day of our departure on June 25, a lot of vacationers arrived. The composition is approximately half of Russian families with children and half of the Turks. Service, service is excellent, everyone is very friendly, the staff is super!
The food is very varied, meat is always for lunch and dinner - beef and chicken. Fish almost every day. A lot of sweets, only watermelons and melons from fruits. Local drinks are free. They cooked very tasty, my children ate everything with great pleasure!
Animation: during the day - darts, football, water polo, billiards, tennis, in the evening - minidisco, shoy time, disco. There is no daytime animation, miniclub, playground for children. The animators are very nice and funny guys.
There are three pools in the hotel, the children were very pleased - large and rather deep, for my children 5 and 9 years old it was excellent. But mothers of babies sometimes asked to reduce the amount of water in the pool and they were met halfway. The main pool struck with its depth - from 1.6 to 2.6 - very cool! A pool with slides from 1.2 to 1.8 - there are three slides, and there is a person who keeps order on the slides, which is important.
The beach and the sea - you can walk to the beach through the shopping street, five minutes past the shops and through the automobile bridge. And you can directly from the hotel through a new footbridge, goes to the playground and fitness equipment, the sea is immediately behind them - very convenient. The sea is calm and clear in the morning, waves and algae float in the water by lunchtime. The beach is sandy with small pebbles at the entrance. There are large rocks in the water.
Near the hotel there is a water park, entrance for 2 adults + 2 children 100 lire. There are only 4 slides and only 3 pools, there is animation. For a change, you can go once.
wi-fi is free in the lobby bar, by the pool and in the amphitheatre.
We had a late flight, extended the room until 24:00 for only $30 per room.
Well, now about the trouble that spoiled the whole impression of the rest. Our flight was delayed for 10 hours - UTair. We sat at the airport all night on hard benches. I did not sleep for a single minute, the children slept a little. It was so terrible that in the near future I am not at all drawn to fly anywhere, especially with UTair.
But, speaking only about the hotel and Calis, the stay was wonderful, especially considering the price we paid for the hotel!
