The hotel is called Azure, it is located on the first coastline. The location is really great, the sea is across the road. We went with my friends (I'm a tour agent from the city of Ulyanovsk).
We arrived at 8 in the morning, check-in as usual at 14:00, the administrator allowed us to leave our things and spend time on the roof, which at first confused us, but when we climbed it, we were delighted!
We had a gorgeous view of the mountains, the sea, the beaches of Alushta, there were also two jacuzzis on the roof (the water is warmer in one and colder in the other), there were comfortable soft sunbeds and cozy sofas with a canopy. There was a bar below the floor, on the first floor there was a kitchen, very tasty! We didn’t even have time to look back as it was time to check in (by the way, we checked in 2 hours earlier, which was very pleasing).
The room also had a sea view, a very beautiful view, a wide large balcony, with 2 chairs, a table and even had two sunbeds (which we still used on one of the days)). The hotel also has a spa and swimming pool. There is a shop nearby, the roof with beautiful lighting and a gorgeous view of the sea is open at any time. The staff is very polite, all issues are resolved quickly and willingly to help in any matter. The rooms are spacious and clean. Nearby there are all necessary cafes, restaurants, promenade. I recommend this hotel for both families and groups.
Who wants to get recommendations of cool, really worthwhile, but at the same time inexpensive hotels, write, I will be happy to answer
But it so happened that I stayed in this hotel at a not very good time - it was a rainy September. The jacuzzi and the rooftop bar were closed. Around the clock there was a smell of the kitchen in the room, for 3 days of staying at the hotel I found 4 cockroaches, one of which was very impressive in size. After I complained, they started poisoning, the smell was disgusting! Not very friendly staff at the reception.
I won't believe it next time. . .
Also in the hotel building on the ground floor there is a wonderful shop with a very wide range. There are alcohol and sausages with cheeses, and delicious pastries, salads, grilled chicken, boiled potatoes, confectionery, tea and coffee, very good fruits: peaches, grapes, watermelons, melons, tastier than on the market in the center of the Professor's Corner. So, if you wish, you can eat on your own. There is also a small department store. For children there are diapers, diapers, a small selection of baby canned food.
Let's get back to the rooms: as elsewhere, the rooms have their drawbacks. For some reason, the owners of the hotel laid a very light carpet, almost white, and because. people come from the sea, bring fruit with them, order coffee, drink wine, all these stains remain on the carpet, i. e. it is dirty, in all rooms. The maids do their best to clean it up, but it doesn't work to the end. AND THIS VERY SPREADS THE IMPRESSION OF THE ROOM, IT IS UNPLEASANT TO WALK BAREFOOT ON THE FLOOR. I also draw the attention of women, in the description of the hotel it is indicated that there is a hair dryer, of course, no one takes a hair dryer with them, and it really is, but it is so weak that it is even possible to dry shoulder-length hair only for half an hour to a semi-dry state. You will never do any styling with this hair dryer, so whoever uses a hair dryer, be sure to take it with you. And the hotel staff advice - please change the hairdryers in the rooms or do not indicate that the room has a hairdryer.
For vacationers with children and pensioners (and we rested with a child of 8 months) THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THE HOTEL, and there are no ramps for strollers, so everything will have to be carried by hand. Although we were told that the elevator would be installed next year, there is a shaft for it.
Service: the only administrator working at the hotel is Daria, who checks you in, checks out and solves all your problems. Our problems were solved quite quickly, we did not hear any rudeness from any of the staff, everyone is friendly and ready to help, to the best of their ability. In general, the hotel has a homely atmosphere, apparently because the owners of the hotel live here and constantly personally control everything. At night, a security guard sits, video surveillance works. Parking next to the hotel has its own, which is also not available for all hotels in Alushta.
Beach: there is no beach, and never will be. Yes, this is not necessary for such a small hotel. There are several options for where to go to the beach: 1. to the right of the hotel, the quietest beach, located in the area of children's camps, medium pebbles, walk for 10-15 minutes, but uphill or stairs, because. we were with a stroller, this option did not suit us. 2. The closest is the beach of the boarding house "Sea Corner", from the hotel to the left, go about 5 minutes, one small climb, no stairs, there are already more people, umbrellas and sun loungers for rent, a deck chair - 20 gr. , an umbrella - 10 gr. But you need to have passes, you can ask for them from the administrator Daria. The beach is clean, the sea is very clean, small pebbles. We went there, for us it was the best option. 3. The furthest, from the hotel to the left, there are no lifts at all, but it takes 15-20 minutes to walk. The people are the most, because a public beach, but still very clean, there are "screamers" with samsa, wine, fruit, baklava, etc. There are none on the previous two beaches. Umbrellas and sun loungers for the same price.
Near the hotel they sell fruits, there is a currency exchange, a point with fresh juices, a taxi and a point with excursions. It is better to call a taxi through the administrator by phone. Cheaper than private companies and safer. This has been verified several times.
In general, we went to the Crimea only because of the child, because of the climate, we would never have gone like that, because. like many are already accustomed to vacation abroad. We have been to good resorts in Italy, Spain, Asia, etc. , so we did not expect anything good from Alushta, but we were mistaken, the Lazurny hotel turned out to be quite a decent hotel, of a European level, in which it is pleasant and interesting to relax. We recommend it.
And another minus is the beach....It is clear that the beaches in the Crimea are hard and not enough for everyone. And the hotel rents places on the beach from other organizations. The most decent beach offered was the children's camp "Eaglet" and with small children it is a long way to go. A bunch of ladders to go down and you can’t drive up by car because the camp area is closed. In general, for a family with children it is difficult. And the nearest proposed beach "Sea Corner" was always crowded there already at 8 in the morning all the places were occupied... Although we were promised an excellent beach of the "More" boarding house when booking, but for some reason there were no passes for it. In general, the impression of the rest is positive and if the owner the hotel will eliminate all the minuses. We will come again with pleasure!
- The hotel is modern and new.
- The neighborhood is quiet. If you are lucky, you will swim on the beaches of the Orlyonok camp without much pressure. The road there is quite pleasant, about 5 minutes on foot.
Of the minuses:
Everything is geared towards saving energy. Apparently the line is missing.
Air conditioning is centralized and only during the day, at night they turn it off.
There may be problems with hot water (it will not be hot, but warm)
Refrigerators in the rooms are appropriate, such as automobile (not compressor), they do not cool below 10-15 degrees
The food is a matter of taste, I liked the omelette and pasta, something that could not be more complicated
Internet is free but drops out from time to time
The staff lives its own life and few people know what customer orientation is. Many questions rest on the owner of the hotel, to which the answer sounds - the owner is busy and we will not disturb him, take a walk in the forest. The staff smokes next to the hotel, all this is immediately drawn into the rooms. It's hard to agree on something. They can prodynamize and in justification they will indicate that they rested in a friendly company, it was not up to you.
A very unfriendly guard, he seems to be very dissatisfied with his fate. He has a dog. This dog runs around the neighborhood during the day and knocks out vacationers. With me, a couple of times, decisive men almost turned their backs.
total - if you work with the staff, the hotel will be 5 points.
The hotel does not have its own beach, but you can go to a sanatorium (5 minutes) or a children's camp (10 minutes), both were free in September. We most often went to the children's camp, as there were fewer people on the beach.
We had breakfast either in the hotel restaurant, or ordered food from the locals with delivery directly to the room.
Of the minuses - the lack of a well-groomed area, the road directly under the hotel (though not busy), the boorish attitude of the waitress of Tatar nationality in the hotel restaurant.
