A few words about the hotel: the staff is excellent, friendly and helpful, there are very few people, you start to recognize almost everyone at breakfast. The contingent is mostly Russian. Nice people, families with kids. The rooms are located in isolation, neighbors can not be seen or heard. The beach right in front of the hotel is empty, no sunbeds, no bushes. But if you walk literally 100 meters, civilization begins) But this is what is more convenient for someone. Breakfast food is the usual set, very tasty yoghurts. simple and light, for brewing tea there is a set of different herbs. The rooms themselves are quite large, the air conditioning works flawlessly, the TV was turned on once, it does not catch any channels except Greek. Internet is available throughout the territory, but you can actually connect only at the reception. So we went there a couple of times a day to check the mail and read the news. The location of the hotel is perfect for us. Peace and quiet all around, only cicadas. But it’s worth walking only 200 meters - a lot of taverns and shops. For a long time they could not find a place where to try more or less real Greek cuisine. a few days later we found a rating of taverns in Google, for some reason only English. We chose 3 by rating, but not far from us. I recommend Panos. The Greek family, husband and wife cook right in front of you, the daughter, a charming and smiling Greek woman, serves. Helping cousin. As for excursions, you can take them anywhere, not only our library has licenses. I didn't like the trip to Kefalonia. We collected two hours in the morning, an hour and a half by ferry, that is, 7 hours is only expensive. Accordingly, the sights were in mode - you have 20 minutes and running back. And we just looked at Mirtos beach from above. If you take an excursion in Laganas, then there was an option for a small minibus and not a ferry, but swimming on Myrtos. But we found out only after the trip. I liked Turtle Island too. And the jeeps were not lucky - our jeep broke down, the money was returned without problems, but there was no time. In general, the trip was a success. Next time we will go back to Greece, perhaps to another island.

I liked the hotel: the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is friendly, they were also very satisfied with breakfasts and dinners, towels were changed every day, shampoos were also constantly added. The hotel lacks animation and musical noise in the evenings (which was a definite advantage for us). 400 meters to the beach along a forest road, the beach itself is beyond praise - sand, the entrance to the sea is convenient.

Sometimes we got tired of the "greens" who walked along the beach and asked to move the umbrella closer to the water (so as not to damage the turtle nests). Among the shortcomings of this area, I note the lack of a civilized route for evening walks. In the evening, in the neighboring village of Laganas, drunken English youth hang out and ride ATVs, so walking there was not a pleasure. Mostly walked in the evenings along the beach on the sand.

Of the excursions, we went to the survey, to the neighboring island of Kefalonia, to the "treasures of Kalavryta", to the bay of Navajo and "to meet the turtles". I note that the turtles themselves are better to watch by renting a catamaran or an hour-long excursion on the beach (we were shown 6 turtles, they were given time to photograph them). While swimming, if you swim further away, you can also see the turtle; )
