There are problems with catering and food magicians - it's better to go to Yalta right away. The minibus is close, but also steep to climb. Construction is everywhere in the village, it did not bother us - no noise, no dust. For our family, the pros outweighed the cons. Enough rest - thank you, August.

There was no shower cabin, but only a pallet and a curtain, which broke off on the very first day and was still fun on one nail, no one repaired. The water constantly splashed and had to look for rags and wipe. The kitchen was never used. Once I went to warm up milk for a child, it turned out to be closed already at 22-00. The stove was, but constantly occupied by a local chef, who was preparing for vacationers for FREAKING money. For these funds, we went to dine in Yalta, with service and without flies!
And what kind of vacation is this for a family with children, if there is not a single swing and slide!?
And the prices of this 2012 absolutely do not think adequate! I'm going to Otradnoye again, but not here.

Literally at the end of June of this year, on the weekend in honor of the Constitution Day, we decided to go to the sea with friends - it has become a custom for us. The Sea of Azov is not far from us - only some 200 km, so there is an opportunity to visit the sea quite often.
We have a favorite place in Berdyansk - on the middle spit, in the private sector with the owner Oksana. But, unfortunately, this year, as, in fact, always at the end of June, there was a kill of a goby at the sea due to a lack of oxygen. So we decided to wave to the Crimea. I, as a regular Internet user, came across a wonderful hotel, as it seemed to me, in Yalta called "August".
In general, everything is wonderful and beautiful, and most importantly, inexpensive! A room with all the conditions, including a shower, air conditioning, a balcony and a TV, for only 152 hryvnia for two. After consulting and looking at the photo, we decided to visit Yalta after all. We were 6 adults and one child aged 14. Good thing they didn't take the baby with them.
Having spoken with the hostess in Zaporozhye, probably 10 times, I got the impression of cordiality and hospitality. Even from the moment of payment of 50% of the cost of the order, some doubts crept in at home, but, as they say, everything that is done is for the best.
I come to the bank, I get to lunch, I return to the office, I wait... I come after lunch - it turns out that the current account does not match the name of the hostess, they say, I need to call, find out again. I forget my mobile. . . I go to the office again. I return to the bank and call the hostess, and she tells me that this has already happened somehow, they say, don’t pay, so come, pay on the spot. Well, I think it's good.
We left by car at 4 o'clock in the morning with the desire not to waste the day on the road, but to be on the beach in the morning and enjoy the long-awaited vacation. We reached the cherished turn to the hotel. And no identifying marks. We turned off the road along a serpentine, and it already somehow felt uncomfortable - there were solid construction sites around. We think, where is the sea here ? ! In short, we finally found our hotel. I look - my husband's cheekbones are shaking, he is angry... Not only is the road difficult (almost not sleeping at night), but here it is... Dust, knocking, dirt and the sea are not visible!
The hotel is located on a mountain in the vineyards, around almost every meter there are private cottages - no shops, no markets! The hostess meets you at the gate and says: don’t be scared, it’s better outside the gate, everyone gets scared at first. We go outside the gate, and there is nowhere to put the car, outside the territory too. The territory of the hotel itself is multi-tiered, since the hotel is on a mountain, around the building there is an iron staircase, rather steep. Everywhere you are in danger of falling, which is generally unacceptable for a holiday with a small child (I dreamed of going there with a baby in August! ).
We ask: show at least where the sea is (moreover, this was the main condition for us - that the sea was nearby). We were assured that 150 meters - 3 minutes on foot. As it turned out, apparently measured the distance in the air. The hostess was indignant: “Over there, through the vineyards, behind the last pine, you will dive into the territory of the boarding house, and there it’s a stone’s throw down. ”
In general, we thought about it and decided to leave, very delicately apologizing, to another place - Crimea is big! Hearing this, our "hospitable" and "hospitable" hostess overlaid us with, how to put it, in general, not very good words, and finally cursed
The most annoying thing is that the photos on the site are photoshopped and do not quite correspond to reality. Then I remembered how I tried to pay part of the amount, and realized with joy that, apparently, it was all for the best, since, of course, we would not have received the money back.
Having gone to Massandra and having heard offers of at least 500 hryvnia for a 2-bed room, we decided to rush to Rybachye - the guys somehow rested there, they said they liked it. Given that the clock is already 13 in the afternoon, we realized that our dream of getting to the beach in the morning has become unrealizable. Again, along the serpentine of kilometers, so another 80 - and we are in Rybachy. Finally!
The hotel is small but quite comfortable. Nothing extra. Deluxe room, standard: air conditioning, TV, shower, there is even a hairdryer and beach accessories. And most importantly - the sea is within easy reach! Literally 20 steps! The price also pleased - 150 hryvnia for a double room, and in the high season the price rises by a maximum of 100 hryvnia.
Near the market, full of cafes, what else do you need? Only now the area really reminded us of our beloved Berdyansk, the middle spit... And we concluded: why go 400 km more, waste time and extra money, if we actually “under our noses” have a beautiful, warm sea and a wonderful place , to which every year you go, as to your home, and you always want to return there!
P. S. Local authorities usually deal with a dead goby in three days, the beach is cleaned, and by August the sea becomes no worse than the Black Sea. And the climate is favorable for families with children. So welcome to the Zaporozhye region to the wonderful city of Berdyansk!

We have traveled all over the Crimea, but we always choose August as our base - it is very comfortable, calm, clean beaches, clear sea, no extraneous partying - just the thing to take a break from the metropolis. A bunch of photos are already in the family archive - moreover, the palm tree is still small. she's grown up, she's taller than me. : ) I'm very sorry that I didn't manage to go this year - I'm expecting a baby. . . But next year - for sure! And something neither me as a future mother, nor any of our many numerous friends who rested there with us or separately. on our recommendation, with or without children - the layout of the boarding house does not scare. : ) Everything is safe, there are railings and handrails everywhere. . Well, yes, the building itself is 3 floors - you need a staircase, but how else? And there was always enough space in the parking lot for us and for the cars of our friends. If my memory serves me right, there were also 10 cars at the same time. And the best part - around the greenery, beauty, flowers, left the room, fell into a sun lounger and even too lazy to go swimming! Well, it's me, I would warm my whole belly in the sun. : )
PS: something strange was written about the hostess here... it seems to me that she doesn’t even know any impolite words. : ) I have never heard anything bad from her in all the years. : ) Everyone is always very helpful and polite, even if we made up some strange requests (for example, give me the Internet directly to the sun lounger in the garden! ) : )
