So, in order.
Location.
The hotel is located very far from the sea, with children it is a 15-20 minute walk to the public beach (there are several of them, packed to capacity, full of cars near the beaches). At the same time, the hotel is located on a mountain, the height difference is about 100 meters, a very steep staircase (a slope of about 80 degrees), it is dangerous for older people, especially those with heart problems, to walk up such stairs.
The view from the hotel - let's be fair, gorgeous. The sea, Ai-Petri, the panorama of Alupka, the Mikhailovsky Temple, the Vorontsov Palace, everything is in full view.
The area in front of the hotel is nothing, but most of it is crowded with cars of vacationers, the capacity is 5-6 cars, those who travel by car, keep in mind that in Alupka, tanned guys are trying to organize paid parking everywhere (an old Ukrainian fun, sent a valet - received scratched car).
Cafe and food.
Breakfast included in the price - to peck a bird. A portion of cheesecakes, or an omelet, or pancakes - from this series. If you want more, pay. A complex lunch costs 300 rubles, the quality of food is a matter of taste, for example, we didn’t like that they served chicken leg in soup with skin. Several children were poisoned by food, a doctor was called, a check came from the sanitary and epidemiological supervision. In general, from the conversations of the staff, we realized that the hotel had some problems with the chef, then he would work, then not, in the end everything was reflected in the customers.
Separately, the issue of tips. Maintenance cost - 10 percent automatically included in the bill. Although there is no service as such - the fact that they brought food to my table, for this I pay at restaurant prices. Plus, on the first day they tried to cheat by 100 rubles when we decided to order not a complex, but from the menu.
From the drinks in the cafe, tea and coffee (by the way, not bad), beer. There is no wine or spirits, although the hotel positions that you can buy wine from them.
Rooms.
The junior suite that was sold to us corresponds to the standard or economy standard in central Russia in terms of area and comfort. Yes, the room seems to have everything that is promised, but apparently we have different criteria for a junior suite with the owners of the hotel (by the way, the photos of the rooms on the site professionally mislead guests about the size of the room, in general, the hotel’s Internet promotion is cool, it would be nice to improve the service) .
The main complaint about the room is the periodic lack of water, interruptions in hot water, sometimes it’s normal, sometimes it’s a small trickle, it was turned off several times.
On the day of departure, I didn’t even manage to take a shower, the receptionist sang to us that the accident in Alupka was not their fault, I went down to Alupka, went into a cafe - there is water. That is, they try to mislead guests about their jambs, which also does not add honor to the hotel.
Cost and payment.
About 3500 per room, they prefer to pay in cash, there is a card terminal, but according to the employees, it does not work and the bank cannot properly make it work. By the way, this is a general comment on the South Coast - they don’t accept cards anywhere. Most likely, the hotels-shops themselves do not want to, because. work in the black, cashier's checks are not issued anywhere. I paid by bank transfer - they grimaced, but accepted.
Transfer to the airport - 2200, in general, this is the average price for Alupka, I managed to find for 2000.
Animation and entertainment - there was nothing like that on the territory of the hotel, although there were a lot of children resting. Wi-Fi was only at the reception, there was no room, every evening a crowd of vacationers gathered at the reception, sat with tablets, by the way, Wi-Fi constantly flew out. Were in Partenit, there is even Wi-Fi on the beach.
The general conclusion is that in terms of price-quality ratio, the hotel loses a lot to apartments of the first and second lines. Its only advantage is a beautiful view, which unfortunately does not cover the overall negative impression of the hotel.
We booked the hotel via the Internet - I liked the appearance of the hotel, photos of the rooms and the sea view.
Previously, we corresponded with the administrator Larisa Grigoryevna - she answered all the questions (and I had enough of them).
They also offered a transfer service from the airport, which we used, because. the price was very reasonable.
Upon arrival, the hotel did not disappoint: comfortable, clean rooms, pleasant staff and a wonderful view.
Of the minuses - not very comfortable shower (small and poorly regulated water pressure and temperature) and almost no wi-fi in the rooms
Garbage was cleaned every day, all requests were responded to quickly.
The hotel also offers a laundry service (for an additional fee).
The hotel area is quite small, but well decorated - a lot of greenery, a small fountain.
The hotel has a cafe - they cook well, but not everything from the menu is available. Waiting for an order is smoothed out by a wonderful view - the tables are also on the street, under a "canopy" of grapes.
The road to the beach is quite long (15-20 minutes), and back also up a rather steep mountain, but not deadly))
In general, I liked the hotel, if we are going to Alupka again, we will stop again.
