Review:
Hotel Meriton Grand Conference & Spa 4**** was booked for 3 nights for a stay in Tallinn for the New Year holidays. We made a reservation on OzonTravel, booked well in advance, it turned out 131 euros for DBL for all three nights. Breakfast was already included in the price.
Impressions in principle prevail positive. The hotel has several restaurants, a coffee shop, its own SPA center with an excellent pool, jacuzzi and as many as 4 saunas. The equipment and furnishings of the rooms and premises are in excellent condition.
The hotel management was very disappointing: really weak staff at the reception, they settled for a long time, although they arrived closer to midnight when there was no big flow.
The lady who received the key in front of us was settled in an already occupied room. In the morning we were in for a “surprise” at breakfast at the bistro Mary - there were no empty seats, people with plates walked in circles looking for where to sit. Why it was impossible to put a person in the seating arrangements of the guests is not clear.
ACCOMMODATION: The hotel is located on the border with the old town, opposite the Long German. Town Hall Square is about 15 minutes walk. We got a well furnished room on the 6th floor overlooking the courtyard. The room had a 26-inch LCD TV set, a safe, a kettle with tea accessories, a minibar with a very decent selection. All furnishings are quite new. Wi-Fi connected without any passwords.
The toilet room is small in size, but quite ergonomic. Heated floor in bathroom. Plumbing is all new from Hansgrohe. Confused soap / shampoo dispensers - all the same, the hotel positions itself as a SPA-hotel.
BREAKFAST:
Very mediocre.
From hot dishes: scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon and pancakes. Coffee or hot water for tea can be poured from coffee machines for which you need to stand in line for 6-8 people. Milk is displayed in carafes on the table near the coffee machines. Coffee, very decent, smooth and rich in taste. Tetley tea bags.
There are only two types of juices - orange and apple.
From cold cuts: regular ham, one kind of cheese, from fruits: oranges, apples, pears and bananas.
There were muesli, pastries and jams.
.
SERVICE: Frankly, weak. Receptionist poorly trained and slow. Problems at breakfast with places. Cleaning is purely nominal. For three nights only the sheets were changed.

Liked the hotel. It is conveniently located, you can quickly get both to the old city (although you have to climb the hill, but not high), and to the City, to the Viru hotel. A very worthy SPA center, a swimming pool for adults and children, excellent baths - a Russian steam room, a Finnish sauna, an aroma sauna and a salt sauna, a jacuzzi, everything is new, clean.

A very worthy SPA center, a swimming pool for adults and children, excellent baths - a Russian steam room, a Finnish sauna, an aroma sauna and a salt sauna, a jacuzzi, everything is new, clean. Good room, safe, free internet, tea and coffee set, which is replenished all the time, minibar, condo, TV, telephone. Carpet on the floor. Disadvantages - there is nowhere to hang a towel in the bathroom, only one hook, the bathroom itself is small, the windows do not open (but this is the case in the whole hotel), the bed is very soft. The breakfast is good: sliced cheeses, ham, sausages, two types of herring, a large selection of dairy products, delicious Estonian cottage cheese, porridge, scrambled eggs, eggs, fried bacon, juices, fruits, jams, muesli, honey, buns, toasts, pastries, tea, great coffee. The hotel has several restaurants and bistros, you can eat or drink at any time of the day. The hotel is close to the Meriton Grand Hotel Tallinn, the hotels are communicated.
Parking costs 10 euros per day - on the street or in the garage under the hotel.
Friendly reception, they speak Estonian, Finnish, Russian, English, German.
Cleaned up perfectly and invisibly.
Highly recommend.
