I would like to mention the amazingly polite and helpful staff of the hotel! They will always come to the rescue, everyone will prompt, tell and help with a smile! Very warm atmosphere thanks to the staff!
We had a two-room suite with 2 bathrooms (1 large with a bathtub, shower, bidet, the second is tiny, only with a cabin and a toilet, of course). Both rooms are comfortable. Each had a TV, but one did not work. But there are so many beauties in Montenegro that you are not up to TV at all. Free WI-FI throughout the hotel, but bad in the rooms. We also had a large terrace with soft chairs and a table, where we spent a lot of time in bad weather. And in the morning and in the evenings they drank coffee there, admiring the mountains, and sunbathed there. The room was cleaned every day. We left the maid every day for 1 euro, then she brought us additional ottomans on her own initiative, it was very convenient.
The hotel has a nice outdoor pool, but not enough sun loungers. many vacationers in the morning threw their towels on the sun loungers and did not appear at the pool all day. You want to swim and dry off somewhere for an hour, but alas, everything is busy. But there is, of course, an indoor pool, where it is always free.
Spa services are expensive. We went for a relaxation massage and depilation, then the first one cost 60 euros at a discount, and dep. (only shins) no discount - 25.
The menu seemed poor due to the lack of seafood, but everything was fresh and tasty. We had breakfasts and dinners, we were full, but we went to cafes for desserts. I really liked the waiters in the hotel restaurant, incredibly helpful, well-mannered and friendly. Everyone will bring it, apologize 10 times before turning. There was also a cook from Odessa, who often went out and told where what dish was. The staff is excellent, they speak both English and Russian, the hotel is very nice.
The hotel does not have its own beach, but the city is 100 meters away. 2 sun loungers and an umbrella cost 10 euros. Sun loungers without mattresses. The boys on the beach are very attentive, they fix umbrellas, they deliver additional ones for free, if necessary. There are a lot of kids on the beach. The water is always clean, the beach is cleaned. The shortcomings of the infrastructure are compensated by the goodwill, openness and cordiality of the staff and local people.
The hotel administration strives to make every guest who arrives here feel special and, to the best of their ability, tries to satisfy the wishes of their customers as much as possible. Here, for example: "Monte Casa" primarily focuses on "childfree" guests. There is no children's playroom and animation, but, nevertheless, there are children's chairs in the dining room and the opportunity to order a children's menu, and in the new season, the "range" of bath accessories will be replenished with children's bathrobes and slippers. An important detail is that absolutely all services at the hotel - from parking to a sauna, are absolutely free for guests, and you do not have to pay extra for such nice little things as a safe or Wi-Fi.
I wish you all a pleasant holiday!
*****
Photos and impressions about the hotel were brought from the promotional info-tour in Montenegro in October
2013.
the rooms are new on the mountains, the furniture is new, the linen and towels were cleaned and changed in a timely manner, the staff is helpful,
but. . .
the pool is cold, the whole area next to the pool is a small patch, tiny and the sun is there for a very short period of time, around our "four-star"
roofs of dilapidated buildings and courtyards overgrown with weeds with some kind of incomprehensible garbage, so this is the "view of the sea. "
Now about the beach which is nearby, get ready, surprise -
the width of the beach strip is not more than 10 meters! The beach is municipal, i. e. the entrance is free! Covered with towels from vacationers from neighboring apartments for 15 euros, mostly our native Russians with all the consequences
Yes, there is another beach, 20 minutes you need to go, of which through the tunnel, in complete darkness, 10 minutes
Regarding food - breakfasts with instant coffee, this is not what I like, but with dinners - you can’t compare, the food is not tasty
Went once, didn't want to go again
on top of all the joys, we were charged a fine of 50 euros (for a lost card on a towel)
This hotel has one of the best (if not the best) Spas of the entire coast with a wide range of services and pleasures, of course, for an additional fee. Who cares, follow the promotions and discounts that often happen there. There is also a swimming pool and a sauna in the Wellness area. The hotel also has an interesting neighborhood with a chic picturesque park, from which there is even a 900 m long health path uphill among coniferous trees. All the way you will be accompanied by amazing aromas and the enjoyment of unity with nature - relaxation is guaranteed. It is possible to book a room with a view of the park, where it is called "park view".
70% of the rooms have a sea view, please note that from some rooms this view will be through the villas under construction, that is, long armatures sticking out of the unfinished walls will not decorate it.
A large bus cannot drive there due to the terrain, but this should not scare you, because in this case the hotel will send a taxi for its guests.
Despite the fact that the hotel has only 63 rooms, they are divided into as many as seven! categories. So there is plenty to choose from depending on requests and wallet. Huge lounges with chic lounge chairs are located on each floor and are decorated in an interesting modern design that allows you to contemplate the beauties of the area and not feel bouts of claustrophobia.
In addition to everything that I have already listed, the hotel has a restaurant and two bars, and there is an ATM near the reception. On the terrace with a gorgeous view of the sea there is a swimming pool and a jacuzzi, around which there are solid wooden trestle beds and umbrellas.
Attention! From this year the hotel no longer has its own beach (for reasons beyond their control), so be aware that now you have to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas there.
There is also a free service for drawing up a program of rest and recovery from the doctor. There are fitness programs and a free gym.
The hotel also accepts families with children, although it is more focused on adults. Despite this, there are even bathrobes and children's cosmetics for children.
One of the hotel's concepts is healthy food. This concept does not prevent them from serving champagne for breakfast - feel like an aristocrat. But besides this, at breakfast you will be served an extended buffet, which includes two types of fresh juices. If you would like to order lunches and/or dinners, it will be a set menu with paid drinks, but free water. And once a week, the hotel invites all its guests to a gala dinner, it will be free, regardless of the chosen food system.
The hotel rooms are immaculate, I don't know if it makes sense to list everything they have. I can only say that the tea set is not presented only in the standards, there are safes everywhere. You can see the rest in the photo.
I wish everyone to rest in such hotels!
P. S. While relaxing in the village of Petrovac, be sure to go to the Lucice beach - this is a very beautiful small and cozy cove. A taxi ride there will cost 2-5 Euros, an umbrella + sunbed will cost 6 Euros, but no one will forbid you to relax there and enjoy the beauty on your towel for free. The beach is surrounded by an excellent picturesque park, which is simply fragrant with the aromas of various exotic plants. Why do I recommend going there? The fact is that in Montenegro there is such an inexplicable thing as the perfect difference of the sea in different places - it's just different colors everywhere! Therefore, it is simply necessary to diversify your sensations.
Keep in mind that the official opening of this beach is only from mid-June, so before that, the umbrellas have not yet been mounted and the toilets are not working.
