We are a family of 4 (teenage kids). We lived in a duplex room at number 8. I really liked our kitchenette-dining room on the street. There is everything you need, if something is missing, you can ask and everything will be found.
The pool is the gem of the hotel. Beautiful, well maintained, comfortable. CLEAN. Beautiful exotic plants create a feeling of a heavenly place. The hotel is a necklace of jewels. The hand of a caring owner is felt in everything.
By the way, Aleksey Viktorovich does not like strangers to appear in the hotel without his knowledge and asks to warn him if you want to invite someone to visit (do not stay! ). It is advisable for your guests to leave you by 23.00. Of course, this rule is introduced for the safety and peace of the guests living in the hotel, whom he cares about. Therefore, there is nothing to be offended about.
Those who find it difficult to walk uphill I warn you right away, this place is not for you, if you are going to get to the hotel from the beach not by car, then it will be difficult. We walked, for us it was only a pleasure, because the road closer to the beach passes through a wonderful park.
The hotel has 2 parking lots, there is a place for your "swallow".
The only thing that did not suit me and my husband in our room was that the floor on the 2nd floor was very creaking. Parents, place your adult children on the 2nd floor, in the bedroom. You better sit downstairs, the sofa is comfortable. )))
I wish you a pleasant stay.
The territory of the mini-hotel is large, the rooms are located in several separate houses with 2-4 rooms each, but each has its own entrance from the street and the guests almost do not intersect with each other. The territory is very well maintained with an abundance of flowers and greenery, the pool is large, deep and clean. They clean it and the surrounding area every day, but early in the morning, so cleaning does not interfere with rest. True, the water smells pretty chlorine. Each has its own key for the outer gate and a gate for exiting the territory. You can come and go at any time, we even went to the sea at night to swim. Free parking for cars on the territory of the hotel is a big plus by the standards of Alupka. In the city, there is simply nowhere to park a car. Having walked around the city on the first day, we realized that we don’t need a car here, so we never drove it for the whole vacation. Local money is made on everything, including parking spaces - even paid places on the sides of the roads, and the roads are narrow and crooked and the likelihood that any bus will scratch the side is very high. So the problem is not that there is nowhere to put the car for free, but that there is nowhere to put it at all.
Meals are not provided in the hotel, but each room has its own kitchen with an electric stove and all necessary utensils. We ate at the Luna dining room - it's easy to find, next to the Lenin monument in the center. The portions are huge, tasty, the choice is excellent, and the prices - we never paid more than 250 hryvnia (about 1000 rubles) for 5 people, despite the fact that the dishes were chosen without looking at the price, but only what you like, with beer for adults and dessert for children.
We lived in room 18, at the highest point of the hotel. From the terrace of our room there was an amazing view of the sea, and it was always possible to track what the children were doing in the pool.
On the official website, all the pictures correspond to reality, the pictures of the numbers, it seems that too. At least our room is exactly like in the pictures. Two-room suite, each room has a split system, one TV, refrigerator, shower, toilet. Hot water without interruptions and schedules, but with cold there were short-term failures.
Wi-fi is free, works well throughout the large territory, but it takes badly from the second room.
It is a bit far from the sea to the hotel, but the path passes through a very picturesque Vorontsovsky park. Our room was at an altitude of 82 m above sea level (measured using a car navigator) and this height had to be overcome with the help of a large number of steps, but we got used to it quickly and almost did not feel it somewhere on the third day, and there is a good pool for capricious children which they enjoyed using.
How long does it take to get from the hotel to the sea, they never measured it, because there was always a picturesque background for the picture, then it was necessary to buy souvenirs, ice cream, beer, then "we haven't walked along this path yet. " In general, the road from the hotel to the sea does not take much time and certainly cannot be called tiring. You can walk around Vorontsovsky Park for a very long time - a beautiful, large, well-groomed park with an abundance of exotic plants and a swan lake.
In general, I am satisfied with my stay in this mini-hotel. Of the minuses, only the distance from the sea, but this minus allows you to keep yourself in good shape : -) When leaving, the owner gives a discount card for a 5% discount on the next visit, but the card is registered, you can’t transfer it to friends.
So if you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you.
2. Arrival. We arrived at 24:00, we were met by the owner of the boarding house Alexey Viktorovich. He invited us to his whole team in order to instruct us on the rules of living in a boarding house. At first it seemed like a strange thing to say, because. we are on the road, on the road for 17 hours, you can instruct one, but as they say "in a strange monastery... ", and then, after talking on this topic, we were sympathetic to such a meeting.
3. Territory. As for the territory, the "boarding house" occupies about 0.5 hectares of area, it is fenced on all sides and the entrance is naturally only for the residents of the boarding house. On the territory there are 15 rooms, a swimming pool, billiards, table tennis, at the top of the household. yard. The rooms are arranged in such a way that neighbors interfere with each other as little as possible. This may not always be 100% successful (near some there are paths and you can walk, around others, due to their remoteness, it is not possible to walk), but basically this idea is implemented very well. The price-quality ratio of rooms for Alupka is normal. The pool with clear, blue water, t-ra about 28 C, occupies a central place, regularly cleaned, around the sun loungers, in general, a class. The billiards are new, the table and balls are whole, the cues are not broken. Table tennis (we did not play), but in appearance, everything is also on the level. The territory is well-groomed, many different plants are planted (palm trees, arborvitae, lavrushka, rosemary, etc. ), the paths are clean, everything is carefully taken care of every day. Two braziers are also installed and there is an opportunity to make a barbecue, which we sometimes did. Distance to the sea: you need to walk to the sea for about 15 minutes, and this time is not very close to the city beach, and to the beach called "Cote d'Azur", but on the 4th day of our stay, our legs stopped hurting and everyone calmly climbed without experiencing any difficulty. Moreover, it is very useful, both for the heart and for general development, in short, it did not bother us, but gave our rest an element of activity....
4. Mode. Normal mode until 23 is possible, after 23 it is possible, but quietly so as not to disturb anyone. Initially, after the first meeting, a feeling crept in that the owner of the boarding house, so to speak, would be present and remind of himself constantly, but this is not at all the case. Aleksey Viktorovich is a very busy person, and we saw him about 5 times in 12 days of rest, and there was no reason to communicate with us, the proposed regime suited us 200%, and we solved issues (barbecue grill, change of linen, household trifles) with Tatyana and Inga quickly and clearly (many thanks to them for their excellent work).
5. The rooms are clean; refrigerator, air conditioning, TV, stove - all in good condition. We lived in rooms under No. 6, No. 15 (it was not possible to book No. 15 for the whole holiday). Of course, the more expensive the room, the better the conditions. Although number 15 is not the most expensive, it has an excellent view of the sea. In general, we liked the rest in the boarding house “At Sergey”.
In general, we were satisfied with the hotel, we are going again.
In general, I liked everything: the territory is well-groomed, the rooms are clean, comfortable, the staff is polite, friendly and unobtrusive. Everyone we met turned out to be very nice people. I was also pleased with the speed of solving emerging problems: when water disappeared on our balcony (through our fault, by the way), the problem was eliminated within 15 minutes after the appeal.
Yes, not very close to the sea (although here it is - you can see it from the balcony), but in the evenings, when music rumbles in the center, we were quiet (and this is a huge plus). Of course, active and mobile people should go to Alupka, because you are up and down stairs during this time, oh how you are! But the extra weight from eating numerous sweets certainly does not threaten you : )
We found the road to the sea (not immediately, though) quite comfortable - first along a narrow pedestrian street, and then through the park, stomping for 15-20 minutes in total. We came to the beach early in the morning (we always do this wherever we rest), so in the morning it was generally cool, then, however, there were a lot of people crowded, well, by that time we had already left for a “siesta”. But crowded beaches are a problem not only for Alupka, but for the South Coast in general. But these inconveniences are compensated by incredible beauty - the sea, mountains, vegetation, squirrels jumping around the park... And the palace, and the park !!!
In short, the rest is SUPER!
P. S. Whoever looks for the negative in everything, he eventually finds it. There are people who manage to see something bad in everything! Look further, gentlemen. . . : )
