Hotel "Balneo" is located just a few dozen kilometers from the Ukrainian Chop in the small town of Mezokö vesd and was offered by the tour operator as a transit. Despite the proximity of Ukraine, we were not greeted very kindly. It took a long time to arrange the settlement of the group and, finally, they demanded a deposit of one passport per room. Everyone was indignant and flatly refused to hand over documents. The leader of the group found a consensus and made copies of our passports. The departure was scheduled for 8-30, so we agreed at the reception that the group would be allowed into the pools at 6-30, and not at 7-00 as established.
The hotel is quite new and modern. Convenient high-speed elevator and we are already at the door of the room. An electronic key, it also unlocks the power supply system of the room. Very convenient, of course, but you can’t charge the photo-video batteries without being in the room. The room is quite spacious. New modern furniture, snow-white bed.
The room has a built-in safe, a small minibar refrigerator (you can extend the life of perishable gifts purchased on the tour), air conditioning, a small balcony. The toilet room has new plumbing, a comfortable shower, hair dryer, all the necessary cosmetics, perfect cleanliness everywhere. The promised bathrobe was not in the room (what to go to the pool? ). Tired from the road - instantly fell asleep.
Morning, 6-30, with bath towels, a quarter of the group gathered at the reception, but they are not allowed into the pool. They are freezing, they say, we don’t understand the Russian language, well, English, so English - we enter into a controversy. A worker comes out of the pool room and in Russian, - what are you doing here, huh? The pools are open, come in…
Two mineral water pools with different fixed temperatures. Fresh water pools with hydromassage. There is a sauna. No, unfortunately, only time, leaving soon.
I will give advice - whoever wears silver jewelry, I recommend leaving it in the room. In the mineral water of the pool, silver becomes frankly black and retains this color for a long time (but some see a certain charm in this). We change clothes in a small niche with a curtain and get dressed for breakfast in the room.
The restaurant is separated from the pools by a glass wall and there is an entrance to the restaurant straight from the pool. The second entrance from the pools to the reception, which is somewhat incomprehensible. Meals in the restaurant - a buffet, quite rich and varied. There are cuts of meat, sausage, deli, cheese, drinks, dairy, desserts, fruits - citrus fruits, watermelons, melons, peaches - you can’t try everything.
Having filled the plates, we examined a waiter modestly standing aside who, in front of you, will cook scrambled eggs with the fillings you have chosen - seafood, meat, sausages or all at once (we saw an indescribable case, it’s a pity there was no camera with you to capture the reaction of the waiter).
I liked the hotel, you can not only find a temporary shelter, but also have a good rest and improve your health.

Stayed at this hotel when returning to Ukraine by bus tour. The hotel left a very good impression. The rooms are clean and comfortable, lots of them with balconies with nice views. There are outdoor and indoor pools with water from thermal springs. There was a great buffet: a lot of variety and very tasty.

We found this hotel in February quite by accident. We were returning from Vienna and just looking for an overnight stay, and it is located 5 kilometers from the M-3 autobahn. The first impression is just wonderful. A new hotel, according to all requirements 4 stars. water. The rooms have bathrobes, the elevator descends directly to the pools.

We arrived on March 6, at the reception we were offered to buy not just accommodation, but a package that includes accommodation, breakfast, 2 massages and dinners. For the price, it turned out that dinners or massages were free. We agreed, but they forgot that free cheese is only in a mousetrap. Our mistake was that we didn’t have a written
massage times. The next morning we agreed on a massage time for 18.00. But what was our surprise and disappointment when at 18.00 the masseuse announced that she was going home. An appeal to the administrator did not give any result.
She stopped understanding English, and then disappeared into the office premises. We must pay tribute that on March 8, all the women in the hotel were presented with flowers.
In general, we had a great rest, but the sediment remained.
