they bring me . . to the Naf-Naf hut . . under the straw and in the straw . . I went in - I almost fell . . Call this halupendru a cottage - you just need to have a wild imagination. ))
Well, if objectively, then, of course, a TV
Soviet times - yes, there is a mini-mini bar, there is a wardrobe, there is a safe in it, a coffee table, one armchair, a double bed, hammered together from bamboo sticks with a mattress - there are, two bedside tables, a telephone. A special masterpiece SANITARY NODE)))
at the entrance there is a sink for washing and a mirror, a shelf
with accessories - shampoo, a shower head and a hair cap - there are two faucets from the wall - a shower and a faucet - just a faucet . . and at the end of this room there is a toilet . . That's where the whole ambush lies . . If you used a shower head, then the main one part of the water along the wall and into the drain, and part just remains in the middle . . FOR ALL . . it does not leave, does not drain and, most importantly, DOES NOT DRY . . therefore, you must definitely put on shoes at night if you soaped yourself in the toilet, otherwise you will wash your feet at the same time )))
At night it started to ooze . . Literally overhead, apparently somewhere in the layers of roof straw someone started to scratch . . apparently a mouse. in the morning running around on the roof began, knocking, jumped up in horror, because. it was hard to understand who this time... When the crows started screaming, she calmed down a bit . . Somehow the crow . . she is a crow in India too . . so they screamed until 7 in the morning, then you can see the place of deployment for the day changed - the birds became I can’t hear anything . . I won’t say anything bad about breakfast - it suited me perfectly, over the years I’ve seen much worse, and then there are fried eggs and omelettes - if you want - with chili, with tomato, with onions, with cheese, if you want - everything is in place. ) ) Hot milk, cold milk, tea with milk, coffee from a jar, orange juice, then mango, brought to a Soviet consistency with water, jam - eat, butter, sugar, cereal - no one
controls and does not pull out of the hands (I also met this in Goa))) There is Indian food, which I was incredibly happy about, because I adore it and I can only sympathize with those who do not like it. But, again, to each his own)
After breakfast, I rushed to the reception with a specific goal - to change this Hitchcock room for something more decent. They said that my number is practically the best onze best, so many people directly envy me. We agreed to resolve the issue tomorrow. Tomorrow the same song, after the story about the mouse and the slip, which is not possible to carry out calmly, they showed NEW cottages. So, they have them!! ! Wooden, maybe no more in area, but definitely more civilized. A glass double door, you open it - there is a large bed in the room, plasma, air conditioning is NEW, a full-wall mirror, a SEPARATE toilet on the right, a shower stall on the left. Civilization rules. I asked about the price. . . The bargaining started from 12 thousand rupees for 8 nights, after screaming BUT POSSIBLE!! ! reduced to 8 thousand . . Giving away 200 bucks for 8 nights will be bold . . For that kind of money you can easily take 4-ku on GOA.
Well, further in essence, without lyrics. The path from the main road really goes past the shacks, from where now half-naked children jump out and yell - CHOCOLIT ! ! or even they present a laminated steward - 100 rupees, demanding a similar currency) The dump there is rare, it's true. Despite my love for India.
Not far from the entrance to the Temple Hotel, there is a church, a little further away, right behind the hotel’s fence, there is a crematorium. And it really WORKS. (and there, so that you know, there is a sign) and asked - What is this? He calmly answered - KREMATORIUM. Well, for non-believers, everything is scheduled, it was opened in 1998, so it works for itself, as expected, properly. February 4.2014)))
Wi-Fi in the rooms for money, in the restaurant - for food)) Edeu didn’t take it, she refused a massage - she was deprived of the joy of communicating over Wai, spat, went to the next shek, the guys connected, I took lemonade in THANKS and the rest of the time I came to the zone the actions of their wai, they didn’t say a word, they were always happy, they would offer a sunbed, ask if it was gut or not)).
Further along Estrela, in the restaurant, interesting evenings of Indian music are held, something else like that. The territory is not bad - gardeners are constantly crawling, tearing out blades of grass, planting civilized plants, in my presence they began to lay paths from paving slabs, so far there are green rags, but when I photographed, even nice).
It's disgusting that the staff began to divide tourists by income - Inglis and Indian People - no gut . . but money . . Russian-GUT, BIG MONEY . . accordingly, now for every step they try to break money from the Russian people . . So the Russian person himself a blacksmith to his pipets . . If the bill is 200 rupees, what the hell is 100 for tea? in a year they will begin to DEMAND with you . .
According to the location of Estrela, it is close to the sea (like Sevyu cottage), but to stomp on the road . . especially at night, I don’t advise . . My favorite Goan dogs, which during the day are the personification of kindness and friendliness, at night they get together very well in packs and are very good at show aggression. I personally encountered this when I had to go at 4 in the morning to the car with which I went on an excursion.
Actually, everything is about Estrel. If you are interested, ask, I will answer.

To begin with, this is our second trip to GOA for the New Year. This is something to compare with. So, compared to the previous hotel in Condolim - ESTRELLA - JUST AN EXCELLENT HOTEL! But - there is one significant BUT - this is only if you are lucky with the accommodation. We're out of luck.... ACCOMMODATION We arrived on 29.

ACCOMMODATION
We arrived on 29.12 at 2 o'clock in the morning - we were 3 families. All accommodation was cottages. This, of course, is very loudly said - these are plywood huts with a thatched roof. These "cottages" stand in 2 rows along the path from the reception to the sea. And there are very few well located ones. So - when we went in - the house smelled very strongly of paint and this was only the beginning of all the troubles! In the middle of the night, we jumped in bed from a terrible noise - at first we thought it was some kind of tropical downpour - then there was a feeling that a huge jet of water from a fire hose was hitting our house. We jumped out and did not understand anything - barrels were located above our house - water storage tanks - it was impossible to see anything else. Together with us, the guys from the neighbors ran out. They were scared too. We still didn't understand what it was. Most likely - at some point water begins to overflow from the barrel - the drive over the edge with a huge noise. In addition to all this, the water in the toilet was drained, followed by drum tapping for 4-5 minutes, which also did not add silence (especially at night).
The hotel is constantly being renovated - it looks like the owner has changed and he decided to redo EVERYTHING at the height of the tourist season!! ! Our friends lived in a cottage - next to which there was a furniture assembly site - they constantly drilled something, sawed and made noise. Behind our cottage, something was constantly being painted. I had to go and make a scandal - so that while we live there, they would at least stop painting! After 5 days we changed the cottage, but it was not much better. Firstly, it had problems with hot water and its pressure. Secondly, there was SUCH a barrel nearby, and although the water did not overflow onto the roof, it constantly boiled at different time intervals with a terrible roar! Thirdly, there was a garbage dump behind the wall, the roof of the neighboring cottage was also painted))))) and lastly, some animals ran along the roof at night.
NUTRITION
The hotel works mainly for Indians. Therefore, breakfast is very good for them. And for Russians, scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs - all the variety....But you definitely won’t stay hungry - sometimes there are pancakes, pancakes, there are always toasts, jam, butter, Tea and instant coffee.
A solid 4 for breakfast.
SERVICE
Room cleaning - only if you leave the key at the reception.
Washing the floor is VERY interesting - the mop is wrung out once and the entire floor is wiped at a time - they never washed it under the bed - even when we asked - they promised - but they didn’t wash it! The same goes for the porch. But they always wait for a tip, with or without a reason. And they regularly make swans out of towels. )))))
BEACH
Ordinary public, moderately dirty, like everything in India.
Obsessive masseuses and sellers (also like everywhere else in the North)))))
We went far to the Papaya Shake - anyone interested - write - I will answer in more detail.
Everyone says that they cook the same in all necks - but this is not so, in my opinion - we experimented for several days - until we found what we like and all the remaining days we went only there.
We got acquainted with the owner of the hotel, at the end of the trip we expressed all our claims to him - he promised to take our comments into account and even offered the daughter of our fellow countrymen to work for him as a manager for a season. Whether something has changed - to judge to you. I will be glad if my review is useful to someone.

Located on the beach - a minute walk to the beach. On the beach there is a construction of shacks for food. To the main street 10 minutes walk, but! ! through the poor huts of the locals. The owner is a Sikh who looks after the hotel. The hotel itself is nice, clean and fresh. Cottages are ugly, standard rooms are normal.

Of all the countries and hotels I have visited, Estrella do Mar in the Calangute area is the most terrible thing I have ever seen in my life. You can’t talk about dirt, cockroaches, mosquitoes, rusty plumbing, in this hotel it’s a matter of course, but here’s the stench in the rooms, smoke filling the rooms during an evening barbecue, proximity to the crematorium (70 meters from the hotel), hotel flower beds for watering of which there is a drain sewer from the hotel rooms - this turned out to be too much for me.
