Located on a mountain, you need to walk a lot up and down the hotel. The territory is large, green, bungalow type. Calm, even sad. From the main road, drive through Shanghai for another 5 minutes, and it’s also steep up and down, so it’s better to rent a scooter or take a car. There is no shuttle to the beach.

Good evening everyone. How long I chose the Tour operator, so now I will regret for a long time that I chose him. I went for the first time through Pegas Tourist. Recommended a 3* hotel. Everything was described, painted, I liked it. The adventure began as soon as we arrived. My suitcase was stuffed into another bus, fortunately they noticed in time.

Upon reaching the fork, I was dropped off the bus and asked to wait for a taxi. Luckily it arrived quickly. The hotel is 1.8 km from the beach, not 600m. as it is written everywhere. The staff behaved disgustingly. And what an open trade was at breakfast food, it's beyond words. One saved in this rest, they left at 9 am, and returned only in the morning. SPECIAL THANKS TO THE GUIDE IN INDIA, under the name of Tatyana, whom we found only on the 5th day and then purely by chance. And we left just as awesome as we drove in. When checking out of the hotel, they wanted to hang up a bill on us, for about $ 120 for food and drinks that I did not even know that there was. One plus, at least for me. You can swim in the pool even at night, no one said anything, because all the staff went to bed at 22.00. Disgusting hotel. If you want to ruin your vacation, I can recommend him.

The hotel as a whole is not bad, but unkempt, the territory is large, the pool is good, but also unkempt, the Indians don’t want to remove the leaves from it1))) When we went to the hotel from the airport, honestly, I was shocked! Firstly, we were taken there separately in a jeep, explaining that the bus simply would not pass there (in fact, it was), and secondly, in the middle of nowhere, we drove through a residential village, then a football field, then again residential shacks, then turns , turns, uphill and here it is! The first evening I cried.

The first evening I cried....It is located on a mountain, about a kilometer from the sea, but to be honest, the road does not tire. There are few people in the hotel (we rested in April 2009), the food is disgusting, the dishes and mugs in the restaurant are dirty, the breakfasts do not differ in variety at all, the buffet was 3 times all the time and we never used it, because there is something that there was - the stomach refused flatly. More or less edible was an omelet and rice cakes. The service staff does not speak or understand Russian, but sometimes you can achieve results with the help of English and active gestures. If you order tea, then specify which one, because without specification they will bring it with milk and salt, fruit salad does not shine with variety - watermelon, papaya, banana and a few grapes tortured in appearance. In the early days, I went everywhere with a bottle of chlorhexidine and tried to treat everything around with it, but then I realized that it was useless, and my husband and I used the old grandfather method - 20 gr. cognac before each meal - and, lo and behold, an intestinal infection bypassed us! Our completely non-drinking neighbors, alas, could not boast of this. But after a few days of stay, we appreciated the big plus of this hotel - SILENCE! in the center of resort centers, such as Calangute, Kondolim, something unimaginable is happening - a pillar of dust, the streets are very dirty, a lot of people, a lot of transport. And you arrive at the hotel, and it’s so quiet, calm there, the dogs don’t bark, the cows don’t beg, in general, everything is known in comparison.
The room has a refrigerator, a TV without a Russian channel, bottled water in the rooms is paid, 25 rupees. Every day, 2 bottles are put in the minibar. The rooms are cleaned if there is a corresponding sign on the door, I left a tip - for the first time 25 rupees - they didn’t take it, the next day - 50 rupees - it worked, although this did not affect the quality of cleaning, towels just began to be folded not in the bathroom on a shelf, and on the bed and in the form of a bow, then a fish...
As for animation and all kinds of entertainment, there is no mention of it, and restaurants are only in the village itself and on the beach. But in the village, cafes are in such a shabby form that mom doesn’t cry, so have dinner either on the beach or at the hotel (until 10 pm), or go to other "evil" places. By the way, please note that if you return to the hotel in the evening, then many taxi drivers simply do not know about it, because it is, I repeat, on the outskirts. Therefore, either prepare a map, or explain how to go, or catch a taxi and agree to wait for you and take you back (by the way, they really wait), or rent a bike and go where you need (a navigator is needed! ). Oh, I remembered an important thing - talking to Russia on a mobile phone is 100 rubles / min, so either take a local SIM card (Vodafone, for this you will definitely need a photocopy of your passport and 2 photos), or on the way to the beach on the right turn there is a small shop and Internet, there is also a telephone. A minute of conversation with Russia costs 10 rupees / min (7 rubles) and the call is immediately and audible perfectly! and also, if you get sunburnt, their pharmacies sell amazing aloe vera gel. relieves burning sensation, pain in minutes! Our after-sun products did not lie next to him!
In a word, the hotel pulls for a 3 *, but don’t build any special illusions about it, I think it will be hard with children in it, again because of the location.
I wish you a pleasant holiday! ))))
