The hotel practically does not have its own territory where children can walk or play, everything is built on a "patch".
Own small beach is adjacent to the beach of the children's camp, therefore, it is not suitable for those who prefer to listen to the sound of the sea, you will have to listen to the speeches of the counselors through the loudspeaker.
Dishes from the dining room, unfortunately, are not washed - more than once I had to see the remnants of food on it, and watch how vacationers changed plates, picking up cleaner ones.
Balconies are shared with neighbors, and in some rooms there are flimsy partitions, but somewhere not at all - in general, you go out onto the balcony with your neighbors.
In our room, the room had a floor-to-ceiling panoramic window, but it did not open, it was possible to fully check the room only through the balcony door overlooking the aforementioned common balcony.
And to top it off - an elderly woman was settled on the first floor with access to the pool, who was annoyed by the loud games of children playing in the pool, and this was in the summer at the height of the holidays, and the staff did not care about this.
Pros: large outdoor pool
There is a public beach nearby.
Alas, there is no desire to return to the Drop, and even with the current prices.
In general, I liked everything very much.
The ladies at the front desk are very friendly, attentive and helpful. It can be seen that they are smiling not "for show", but because they themselves are very bright girls. Thank you!!!
The rooms are clean and the floors are cleaned every day. Bed linen and towels are changed every 4 days. The cooks cook very tasty, many thanks to the chef Petr Bogdanovich!! ! I have a small child and a big fussy eater. And then my son fell in love with cottage cheese pudding, he constantly asked for it. And I also want to make a point. We constantly traveled somewhere, sometimes with a group, sometimes ourselves with a driver. In general, they returned late and it happened that they missed dinner. As a result, the workers of the canteen waited for us, latecomers, and fed us a delicious dinner! Of course, before that we warned that we would be late. But how grateful we were for the amazing dinner and crazy emotions and impressions from the excursions. And what early breakfasts were, mmm : )! We, limited in time before the tour, ran into the dining room, while they were already waiting for us. The guys quickly cooked breakfast in just 5 minutes, so that nothing cooled down. I also remember Pyotr Bogdanovich when he ran up and said: "Here guys, fresh peach jam for pancakes, eat to your health! "
Thank you very much for a huge charge of vivacity and energy from the animators Natalia, Arsen and Margarita!!! ! Guys, you are great!!! ! I will always remember yoga classes, when you close your eyes, and the breeze blows around you, the sun shines and oh, this sea air! And an incendiary zumba! Yes, this is generally a powerful boost of energy for the whole day : ) !!!
The beach is clean, mixed - sand and pebbles. Nevertheless, sand castles were constantly built with the child.
The only request to the hotel management is to set up Wi-Fi in the rooms. The Internet works, but turns off and on every 5 minutes, so it was inconvenient to communicate via Skype.
In general, the rest in the Crimea, as well as in your hotel, left good and bright memories !! ! : ) Thanks to all the staff of the Drop of the Sea hotel for creating home comfort and warmth : )!!!!! ! I hope we will come back and more than once, but probably already in a larger composition : )!
Sincerely, Naila, Tomsk
Hmm. We usually plan trips to this place in early spring. This year was no exception. Having booked a room at the end of February for our favorite May-September, we did not even suspect that the realities of life would make their own adjustments. Which? By opening any news site you will understand. Anniversary arrival in Drop was covered with a copper basin. After thinking a little, we decided to recreate a piece of Droplet in our country.
This season we have been exploring the science of pools and lawns. Keeping in mind the story of Maxim Petrovich, immediately after the purchase and installation of the pool, we plunged headlong into the knowledge of the basics of “pool science and pool chemistry”. How much literature and Internet pages have been shoveled, we will keep silent in our history. A four-month experience of maintaining the pool in the same form as in Kaplya showed only one-total costs for “clean as a tear” and “blue as a spring sky” water exceeded the costs for the pool twice.
We also have a lawn around the pool. Thanks to Uncle Vasya for showing me how to create a small green miracle. What can I say… Every corner of the Droplet is saturated with love and colossal human labor. In every stone or shop there is a piece of the soul of those people who created and raised the Droplet from birth. Attitude towards you as a Person, which is sometimes not found in many foreign hotels.
Despite all the political hardships, I really want to come back here again. After all, Friends are not forgotten and not abandoned. They will definitely come back.
P. S. Summing up, we can say to young couples, one without small children - it's boring. Great for kids up to 7 years old. Our child was very happy and didn't want to leave.
The hotel is located on the letter "G". All rooms are on one side of the corridor and overlook the sea and the pool, which is quite a decent size with different depths. The sea is visible, of course, only from the 2nd and 3rd floors. We lived on the first, because. chose the "economy" option, but also not bad. We always left the room immediately to the pool through the balcony door. There are no balconies on the first floor, there is a common terrace raised above the pool level, and each room has a set of plastic furniture. In the "economy" room, of course, it's a bit crowded, but the corridor and the large bathroom saves (shower, hairdryer, soap, toilet paper is always available). There is everything you need in the room, and if you are traveling without children, then it is quite normal. The windows in the rooms reach the floor, which looks very attractive. Cleaned every day, change of linen after 4 days. You change your beach towels for clean ones by the pool in the morning.
The pool was cleaned with a vacuum cleaner every day (I saw it myself), they took water for research and added "chemistry", of course.
The dining room is located between the building and the beach, equipped with air conditioning. The food is quite decent. Several side dishes, raw, stewed, baked vegetables, pastries, cookies; pork, chicken, fish (fillet) - always. Periodically - dumplings, liver in different variations, pancakes, dumplings, herring. For breakfast - cold cuts, jams, honey, scrambled eggs, boiled pork - always, porridge, soup. Fruits. In the evening, a girl sits near the dining room, writes down on excursions, very convenient.
We rested without children, but there are animators in the hotel.
Opposite the dining room - a grocery store, everything you need is available. There is also a pharmacy and a small market nearby. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the village center at a leisurely pace (market, bus station, currency exchange and bookseller).
For several years we rested nearby in Chernomorets, but this year we decided to save money, and did not regret it at all.
Rest is calm, one might say relaxing.
In this place with the most beautiful sunsets, there is something attractive. Every year, May and September, our family, getting out of the noise and smoke of the industrial metropolis, spends in the "Drop of the Sea". The hotel is developing, and our daughter is growing with it. She even received a comic nickname as "Son of the Regiment" - "Daughter of the Drop". There is also a family atmosphere, comfort and goodwill. Thanks and regards to all the Kapli staff. Victoria, Ivan and Nastya
Further, the rooms are clean, we had a standard - small, but the bed is huge, the three of us got lost there. Again, everything is thought out for children: the balcony was covered with a net so that the child would not fall out. Here I also read in one review that they say one table for two balconies is nonsense, this is definitely not the case. Cleaned every day, no complaints.
Taxi, what do we have there in order, yes, the pool. Here, indeed, they write the truth that the water is cold. But the hotel staff is attentive to visitors and their claims. During our overnight stay, the pool began to be covered with a blanket, the water really became warmer.
The beach is normal, there was enough space for everyone, sun loungers, tables, umbrellas. Well, yes, periodically threw out all sorts of algae, but they tried to clean them up.
The territory itself is not large, but green, there are flowers, lawns. And it is so well integrated into the embankment that it is not crowded at all.
Well, now the cons. The hotel seems to be geared towards families with children. But there are no highchairs in the restaurant, which was a problem for us personally. But we were promised that they are working on it. From entertainment for children: playground - boring, the slide heats up in the sun - it's not possible to ride, one swing, one sandbox. Children's labyrinth - they are allowed there from the age of 3, and although our daughter was very eager to go there - we were told - low. Children's room - again, from 3 years old, but if you sit yourself, then you can. There is nothing to do in this room (at least for very little ones). There are few toys, they are broken. Boredom. All this for an additional fee (except for the site)
Well, there was no adult animation at all. Well, except for the fact that one evening the film was shown in a restaurant on the street, well, cartoons were played there.
In general, we were satisfied with the rest. Perhaps we will come again. And for the New Year we were sent a greeting card from the Drop of the Sea. A trifle, but nice!
PS yes, that's what these tennis courts are for, or what these courts are for. I've never seen anyone play there. It would be better if there was a children's playground in this place. Well, it is, I grumble...
