A good 4* hotel near the Old City, opposite the most prestigious hotel in Jerusalem King David 5* (belongs to the same Dan chain). Both inside and outside the hotel pleases the eye. On the roof there is an outdoor swimming pool and a terrace for relaxing with a beautiful view of the Old Town. Breakfasts are sooo varied and tasty, you can order dinners, but they are quite expensive, about $40/person.

The rooms are nice, not small, clean and tidy. Everything works, nothing falls off and does not junk.
For those who take the superior executive and suite rooms, there is access to the business lounge on the 9th floor (free snacks and drinks without limit all day + free WiFi). By the way, in the rest of the hotel WiFi is paid.
Old town within walking distance. 10-15 minutes walk to Jaffa Gate. When choosing a hotel in Jerusalem, this is the main criterion for me.
The Dan Panorama hotel corresponds to its category, the price, in my opinion, corresponds to the quality. It is more profitable to take this hotel for a long stay - from 7 nights or more, then the price is lower.

They came to Israel with the purpose of pilgrimage to the Holy places and to get married. They came to Israel with the purpose of pilgrimage to the Holy places and to get married. For a long time we could not make a choice, in the end we took the hotel on the good recommendations of our travel agency. The hotel is positioned as 4-5 stars, in real life it does not even pull on a solid 4. The room was improved, but they pushed it to the end of the corridor. where minor repairs have been going on for some time. The room did not even change large towels after the previous tenants and there was such dirt and dust on the table under the glass! The furniture was all shabby, the coating on the floor was stained. We took half board, so the first evening the food was so-so, there were very few visitors, one type of peppered fish, 2-3 salads, we didn’t eat meat, because we are vegetarians. They were even upset, but in the evening of that day, foreign grandparents from different countries came in large numbers and the menu became varied and plentiful. . There were problems at the reception, because the husband (in principle, who speaks good English), often did not understand their English with a terrible Israeli accent, and no one spoke Russian. , the attitude was not very good, because we asked 2 times to make us a lunch box because of the early excursions. , the staff treated everyone with condescension and statically performed their work, which did not help the guests to solve their questions and problems.... Only once we met a manager (former from Russia), she served us very well and generally reacted sincerely. About 400 dollars were withdrawn from my husband's card, although everything was paid in advance, the money was returned only after 2 months. Theft was not noticed, although they regularly used the safe so as not to tempt. . We didn’t notice any offers for excursions either, in the corner of the hall we later found several leaflets on excursions, but in English. , there were no Russians in the hotel, we were alone and then another couple arrived. The hotel is only good for its location, we walked a lot around the city on our own with a tablet, it was interesting. our guide, when we told him about the dirt and poor service, did not believe us at first, because the hotel arranged a "show-off" and made many believe in the presence of orchids in every room, not to mention the normal cleaning of the rooms.

We bought a tour of Israel in Moscow ....Moreover, we paid for 4-5 * hotels, but received all the Don Panorama hotels, it’s hard to give more than 3+. Moreover, the travel agency itself is sure that these are all fives. Each city in Don Panoramas has its own shortcomings that are not compensated by additional service, which could smooth out the impression.

Moreover, the travel agency itself is sure that these are all fives. Each city in Don Panoramas has its own shortcomings that are not compensated by additional service, which could smooth out the impression. The hotels are big. Look at the number of rooms and you will understand everything. Cleaned every day, but not thoroughly. Any dust and unwashed glasses will remain. Hotel 4 * with a bad location ..........15 minutes to the beach - it's far ........And first, before going to the embankment, you need to go through some kind of wasteland. The whole of Eilat is a tiny town, consider half the city to go. The food is good. but queues for normal coffee and hot scrambled eggs........Dinner is good. Dinner drinks are not included and must be purchased. The rooms are standard, plumbing works, a bathrobe is issued on a deposit of 100 shekels, which is about $ 25. The airport is almost inaudible, only sometimes.
But you can hear it in all the hotels in Eilat.............The beach is conditionally equipped. There are sun loungers, but no one gives them out. They look shabby. But it's all in the Panoramas !!!!!!!!!! ! !
Most importantly, there are no changing rooms on the beach, but you need to go to the toilet like Weeping Willow with the appropriate smell and water on the floor. Standing on one leg, you change into a bathing suit. It is not comfortable! The toilet is combined for men and women together, and why are they embarrassed. Our ladies said that there is a maniac there, so they changed in the room. There is no other toilet on the beach, so draw your own conclusions. Strange for a 4* hotel. There are few excursions in Eilat, so a beach holiday should be organized better. We advise everyone to buy rubber shoes for swimming, as there are all sorts of hedgehogs and fish at the bottom, the injections of which are unsafe for health. Still the Red Sea. In King City (palace with attractions) we do not recommend taking small children, they can get scared ....
There is an unexpected water slide from the roof of the building, many rides in the dark. Children scare each other, jumping out from behind the curtains, especially local ones, and then the little ones cry in fear. So it goes. True, everyone is given helmets with miner's bulbs. In general, you don’t have to go, all the stories are about Solomon and Moses, so not for everyone ..............................................
Of the entertainment, there is also the Underwater Observatory, access to the sea on a yacht, well, perhaps that's all. We advise you to go from Eilat to Petra and of course to Jerusalem, the impressions are really extraordinary. Especially for those who love photography. Distance from Eilat to Petra is about 150 km, travel time is about 2 hours. At the border, the bus changes, the guides will be from Jordan. The first part of the journey (900 meters) can be ridden on a horse, the guide will hold it, so do not be afraid and use this service. The cost is included in the ticket. A small tip can be given after (about $5) Arrival in Eilat will be late, around 9pm.
