For the price and quality, I chose the hotel. Everything was fine in the room, they came - looked after, there was a bed, there was a TV. The food is better than expected for the money. The hotel is a bit off the beaten track, there are no comments to the staff, I didn’t go on the tour that the guide offered either.

We didn't take food, there were no problems.
Now in order:
We lived in a small G building overlooking the pool and side sea - for me it was very convenient. Direct sea view from 2 bedroom apartment. All buildings with elevators and ramps.
The room is spacious, bright, clean, good soundproofing (except for the front door). 1bedroom apart. : 2 rooms, entrance hall, bathroom with shower (hairdryer available, hot water switch at the entrance), large balcony with entrances from both rooms with a set of plastic furniture.
The bedroom is the same as in all hotels, the beds are 2 shifted, there is a safe and a vacuum cleaner in the closet (they were never used).
Studio room approximately 30 m2 with a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, 4-burner electric stove, oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker and dishes) with a dining table and 4 chairs. Pots and pans - 2 each, large volume, as many as 5 knives.
Air conditioners in both rooms, we did not use, because the room was always cool. TV with 3 Russian channels, but the children watched cartoons on Bulgarian channels.
Wet cleaning was carried out every day, linen was changed 1 time in 3 days. Everything is clear, do not turn away.
Hotel. All buildings of the hotel are at the edge of the beach. There are 7 buildings in total and it turns out - the hotel is stretched along the beach for 600-700 meters!
Between the buildings there are swimming pools, playgrounds or mini-golf (paid). Building G also has a giant chess set. Inside the U-shaped buildings A, B, C there are also pools and 2 bars. But there are practically no trees anywhere, I missed them. Also on the way to the city. The terrain is similar to the steppe, although the town of Obzor is located on a mountainside.
The beach is huge! Sunbeds, umbrellas - 6 levs each. If you want a towel, please, there is a lot of space. At the exit from the beach in several places - a foot shower and a full shower.
The sea in June was quite warm, with waves, we swam every day, except for one, when a red flag was hung out because of the big waves. When the sea calmed down, they caught crabs and hermit crabs. The entrance to the sea is sandy, long, gentle, but be careful - in front of the football goal at building G, there is a large stone in the sea - you can’t see it in the waves!
Because of the cold nights, the pools warmed up only in the middle of the day, and even in the evening, so they swam a little. In addition, the pools between the small buildings are blown more strongly, so we went to building A.
There were almost no children in the mini-club. The animator is a Bulgarian girl, mine didn’t understand her, so they didn’t rush there. During the day, a photographer with a full-length cartoon character walked along the beach. Photographs were hung out in the evening (10 leva/pc).
We did not see the daytime animation, the evening animation was rather weak, we only watched the “Bulgarian Evening” in its entirety. Mini disco is held right on the beach on the sand. Usually we went to the city in the evening, maybe we missed something...
Wi-Fi in the hotel 7 leva/day, a week is cheaper. Several computers with internet and skype - 6 levs/hour.
Nutrition. The main restaurant is located in building D, in June breakfast cost 10 leva, dinner - 20 leva, for a child under 12 years old - half the cost. There is also an a la carte restaurant in building A, prices there are higher than city prices, but acceptable, and a mini market.
In the city we had dinner a couple of times, sometimes for 25 leva, sometimes for 15 for three. 1 bowl of salad was enough for 3 of us. I warn you, there's nothing in tripe soup but tripe at all.
But usually I bought everything in the market and in Sparma, the prices are low, the products are more natural than our plastic ones. I found out where they sell fresh cow's milk in the morning for 1.5 leva / liter, regularly bought goods. A scooter taken from home was very useful, I used it as a donkey.
From the hotel to the city 10-15min. on foot, they also take a minibus to the city center (for 1 lev), according to the schedule at the reception and a driver on horseback (15 lev).
The city of Obzor is a small, cozy, pretty resort town. In the park next to the embankment there are free fitness equipment, in the pool with fountains for those who wish there are balls in which you run like a squirrel in a wheel, on the embankment there is an open amphitheater, in which we hosted a very interesting international festival of children's groups (entrance is free), and also rides, trampolines, slot machines (1-3 levs). Around and along the central streets there are tents with all kinds of goodies (on average, everything is 2 leva), toys, souvenirs, clothes.
Exchangers are quite common, the rate is: 1 euro = 1.9-1.93 leva, $ 1 = 1.5 leva. I changed it in different places, there were no problems anywhere, everywhere they gave a check (sometimes even for a signature), where everything is clearly spelled out.
In the private sector, owners try to embellish their homes by all means: flowers in the garden and in pots, mini-ponds, bridges, lanterns, etc. Very happy when walking around the village.
We got out on an excursion only 1 time - to Nessebar. On your own by bus from the bus station. I liked it very much: interesting, original, it is a pity that there was little time. I will definitely go to Nessebar again!
I tried to be brief about everything. I hope the review will be useful when choosing a place to stay.

It all started with the fact that we ordered and paid for a room with a sea view. We arrived and were given a room with a view of the neighboring building. Our tour operator fought for 2 weeks to change our room. They replied that they have no price difference with or without sea view. There are no rooms with washing machines. Wash by hand for 25 UAH. 1 kg. The hotel is very deteriorated. The attitude towards the guests is disgusting. They clean terribly after the maids need to wash the floor. We bought a mop and a basin there. In general, the rest is a maximum of 2 *, but not 4 *. We overpaid a lot. Next year we will choose something different with you.

We rested with my family in August-September 2010. The hotel as a whole is 2 stars with a plus (it could have been better for the money paid). But the most disgusting thing is the impudent and impudent service of the chocks on the beach. The whole beach is paid, if you don’t pay for schislongs (a set of which, including the obligatory payment for an umbrella, costs an average of 20 euros a day), then constant harassment of chocks begins in order to expel you from the beach, even if you don’t use the specified equipment. … More ▾ We rested with my family in August-September 2010. We rested in many places, but after this trip, the impressions, to put it mildly, are the most unpleasant, even compared to our Gelendzhik... Those who are going to go there, please think before making such decisions.

I had a rest in Obzor Beach Resort from August 15 to August 20.2008. Well, what can I say... Yes, I read a lot of positive reviews, but I myself... Okay, let's start in order: 1. Hotel. The hotel is on the beach which is a plus. However, behind the hotel "the steppe, and the steppe all around... " You go out, and the desert is spread out in front of you (probably this year it was such a hot summer that all the grass behind the hotel dried up and really there was a feeling that you were not in Bulgaria, but near the Egyptian pyramids). … More ▾ I had a rest in Obzor Beach Resort from August 15 to August 20.2008. Well, what can I say... Yes, I read a lot of positive reviews, but I myself...
Okay, let's start in order:
1. During the day the heat is unreal, but in the evening, somewhere after eleven, it is as cold as late autumn. I liked the beach - clean, soft and somehow foreign, not at all like Crimean.
The only thing that is bad is paid sunbeds and umbrellas, but even here we found a way out: in order not to pay, we either lay down on towels right near the sea, or chose sunbeds in the middle and when the local mafia, in the form of a fee collector for sun loungers, began to collect tribute from any part of the beach, we simply moved to towels, and when he left, we returned back to our places.
2. A night club at a hotel (if this place can be called a club at all) is a room where there is a bar counter, two small rooms separated by a partition, with tables and a room with billiard tables. For me personally, this "club" was associated with an entertainment room in a nursing home, since apart from us, Russians, no one danced there at all (this is taking into account the fact that fifteen people were usually present in the entire "club" - this is taking into account two bartenders and three billiard tables! ) Moreover, at that time the Olympics were taking place in China and on plasma TVs hanging on the walls of the "club", diving competitions were broadcast to disco music! Nightmare! But that's not all. . . It was possible to dance only from ten to twelve in the evening, the beginning and end of this action was the same every day - to the old song of Michael Jackson, that is, Jackson's song sounds (the one where he danced his famous moon track ) - this means that the dancing has begun... and exactly two hours later this musical composition sounds again - this is the end of the evening. Then light slow music sounds for another hour - this is for those who are still eager to talk, and then that's it... Everyone is kicked out and go wherever you want.
Separately, I want to say about the night Obzor Beach Resort - have you ever seen a desert with people? Not? Exactly. There is no one here after ten. I'm not kidding: there are no people at all. It seems that everyone has died out. . . Only in the distance one can see a lonely light in the gatehouse, where two guards of the parking lot usually live. . . And all around is silence. . . This is where horror films should be made!
3. City Overview. In the city of Obzor itself (or rather, to call this place a village), there is one hundred percent Crimea on the beach: the beach is dirty and somehow painfully familiar with its broken umbrellas and the remnants of battered old eateries. The village of Obzor generally resembles the old Soviet times: after twelve, all the townspeople go to bed, the music stops everywhere and the lights go out, and vacationers, thirsty for "continuation of the banquet" and "thrills" roam around the dark city in search of at least some kind of nightlife. But, alas, to disappoint and finish drinking, they either go to sleep, or those who are quicker find out that on the outskirts of the village, somewhere very far away, there is a large building - the local disco "SPACE". There, big, muscular guards carefully check all the contents of the bag and, having led you through the metal detector gate, let you into the holy of holies... Here, the most interesting thing is how much I love nightclubs, but I have never seen such a flight of dancing thoughts! A huge two-story building, with an incredibly large dance floor and a huge wide screen, on the entire wall, near the DJ. The club works from 7 o'clock in the evening, but the movement itself starts after 12 at night, and the Bulgarian anthem sounds and all the youth sings along. The only thing that prevented "to come off in full" - it's the locals. I don’t know, maybe they have never seen Russian girls dancing before (would they have visited Ukrainian clubs! ), but they just curled in front of us in flocks (and this is not even Turkey! ). It got to the point that I had to dance on the second floor, fortunately, there was enough space there. I am 24 years old, blonde. They went on vacation with their young people, behaved decently and in no way provoked the locals, but this did not save us from persistent attempts to get to know each other.
And the road to the hotel is another story altogether! The path is not close, along a dark highway, which is illuminated only by the headlights of cars rarely passing by. The road, of course, can be shortened and go along a dark path. However, advice for women, on their own, unaccompanied by men (moreover, men should be well acquainted, since there are such huge black bushes... you never know... ) it’s better not to go around - it’s scary to the point of madness! And if the girl is also in heels, then it will be worse than a roller coaster! In general, the road with surprises.
4. Apartments. We lived in the "B" building overlooking the desert. And most importantly: we literally lived in the kitchen! The apartment consisted of a bedroom (in which two people lived) and a kitchen in which there was a small divay, clearly not designed for two people. But nevertheless, we were nevertheless settled in these apartments (although already upon arrival home and having filed a complaint with the travel agency, we found out that there was a mistake and we were settled in absolutely the wrong room for which we paid. Moreover, the travel agency and the tour operator are so they quickly returned the difference in money and apologized that there was absolutely no unpleasant aftertaste, but on the contrary, it was very positively extreme to open your eyes in the morning and realize that you were sleeping next to kitchen utensils. all look optimistically!
5. Nutrition. We only paid for breakfast - several types of omelettes, a varied selection of sausages and cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables. You can live with such a menu for a week, but more, of course, is not recommended, in order to avoid unpleasant consequences... Moreover, we, like real Russians, in order not to spend money on buying food in the supermarket, took sausage and buns with us from breakfast. I think that the removal technology is clear, however, just in case, I will explain how we did it. They took a large beach bag and a couple of bags, collected full plates of food, and when the guard and waiters turned away, they put the food in bags, and then into the bag. During the week of our stay in this hotel, we were never stopped, although there were sidelong glances from the waiters. But to us what...
By the way, please pay attention to the fact that the restaurant has a lot of OS. They are literally everywhere, and it seems that they fly with the whole hive at the same time - there were so many of them. In addition, it seems that they have not eaten at all for a couple of days - with such a terrible appetite, they pounced on any food on their plate. And most importantly, they did not pay absolutely no attention to people! Although in our group they bit three people (probably they tried to take away the sausage from the wasps).
5. Service. Hmmm. . . Well, what can I say. . . It felt like we were playing hide and seek with the cleaners, and they were hiding, and we were always looking for them. . . That's how you go out to the beach in the morning, you see the cleaning lady, who hasn't had time to hide yet, and take her to your room. Everything! A bird got caught in a cage, there's nothing you can do, you'll have to clean it up. . . But they voluntarily refused to enter the room. . . Why would that be?? ? After a complaint at the reception, we still found one brave cleaning lady and she really came every day and cleaned our room. The cleaning lady has probably never cleaned at the Russians, because on the first day she was shocked by the number of empty bottles, then she got used to it a little... and we started playing hide and seek again. Only now we were hiding: it seemed that the cleaning lady appeared only at the moment when we were carrying heavy packages of alcoholic drinks from the supermarket! Moreover, at these moments she reproachfully poked her finger at us, clutched her head and said something in a language we did not understand.
Yes... Also, I apologize for the details, if you eat at Obzor Beach Resort, then take a month's supply of toilet paper with you, because for unknown reasons, either in all of Bulgaria, or only in the hotel itself, they have a serious toilet paper tension paper: for four people, we were given one roll of toilet paper every day.
Well, basically, that's all I wanted to say. . .
And finally: Believe me, all of the above is not a negative response and an attempt to discredit the honest name of the hotel. No, not by any means!! ! Think about it, if everything was perfect, then, perhaps, there would be nothing to tell upon your return. I do not at all consider this trip a spoiled holiday, on the contrary, I am very glad that I went to this hotel and with these conditions! In our everyday life, there are not so many reasons for sincere joy, and Obzor Beach Resort gave a lot of exciting adventures and positive emotions!
So if you are optimists - go to Obzor Beach Resort - believe me, you will not regret it!

Maybe my experience will help someone decide on the choice of hotel.
I must say right away that this hotel is located in the small town of Obzor, or rather the village. So the rest there is rustic, calm. No nightly entertainment, except for one nightly disco - no.
Actually, that's what attracted me. I wanted to relax with the children in a quiet place, without the fuss, without the hustle and bustle on the beach and the eternal race for sunbeds by the pool.
The hotel itself is fairly new and clean. The hotel has playgrounds and a children's playroom. I really liked the spa. There is also a gym and a hairdresser. The prices in the SPA are affordable - I really enjoyed visiting it.
Our room was wonderful - overlooking the sea, with two bedrooms and a kitchen-living room, and I was also pleasantly surprised - two bathrooms. The cleaning lady came every day, changed the towels every three days, but if I asked to change more often, there were no problems. You can eat at the restaurant in the hotel. But it was easier and cheaper for me (and most importantly, tastier) to cook it myself, because. I had small children with me. The restaurants are very expensive, not tasty, the service is bad, sometimes you had to wait a long time for free tables. All this is not worth the money they ask. Many vacationers bought only breakfast, or breakfast - dinner. We had breakfast and lunch at home, and went to Obzor for dinner. By the way, in the town itself in any cafe it was cheaper and much tastier to have dinner.
The hotel has two small supermarkets where you can buy everything you need (butter, milk, yogurt, etc. ). If you need to buy something meat or goods for children, there is a large supermarket in the town, where there is even baby food. As for vegetables and fruits, we had to look for markets. It turned out to be quite small, but you can buy the necessary vegetables and fruits.
Now I’ll tell you separately about the pool and the beach. Each building has a swimming pool (for adults and for children) with sun loungers and umbrellas. It was here that we occupied sunbeds, not the beach. On the beach, umbrellas and sun loungers are paid. Why pay a lot of money when you can walk 50 meters to the sea and pay nothing! The beach has all the necessary water activities. The sand on the beach is clean, fine - super! What can not be said about the water in the pool. For the first time in my life I saw brown water in the pool. Apparently the hotel administration saved on filters or reagents. This is the biggest downside of the hotel. There is entertainment at the hotel, but there are not many of them: a disco (such as a night one), it is also a bar, billiards, slot machines, etc. Not far from the hotel there is a large night disco, but experts said that it is also for a certain taste.
The hotel is about 1 km from Obzor. Therefore, you can get there on foot, which is not very fast and not always pleasant (you have to walk along the roadway), by horse-drawn carriage (quite expensive) or by a train beloved by children (open multi-colored wagons are attached to the car) - the most optimal form of transportation. There is also a taxi - you can get there more expensive than by train, cheaper than by carriage. So choose according to your taste and budget. The schedule of the train is very convenient, every half an hour from the hotel to the center of Obzor and back.
We also went on an excursion with the whole family to the Dolphinarium (Varna) and to the water park - we liked it very much - I recommend it.
And in conclusion, I can sum up my story. If you want to relax inexpensively and without frills - this is what you need. My children were delighted and ask to go there again.
