I must say right away that lovers of comfort are probably not here. But, if you want to immerse yourself in the old Prague absolutely completely and dissolve in it, you are in William. Charming Prague surroundings in the hotel itself, in the restaurant, in the room. There was a single room, with the latest furniture, but antique, very comfortably organized space. Great old district in the heart of old Prague. Everywhere you can go on foot, walked all day. Never had to use the tram or public transport. Nice friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurant. An excellent breakfast, there are fresh vegetables, there is always something hot: bacon, sausages, some side dish, beans or scrambled eggs, aspic, cold cuts, salad, delicious buns, fruits: oranges, kiwi, grapefruit. After such a breakfast, I remembered about food only for dinner. Charming restaurant. I was in Prague for 8 days, these were some absolutely happy days in my life. And wonderful William also played a role in this. . Many thanks. If I ever have to return to Prague, I would like to return only to William.

The staff is friendly. However, when asked where you can leave the car, offered only paid parking near the hotel for 18E / day. But then they found a parking lot in 2 metro stations on the Internet for 4E / day.
It is very inconvenient to carry luggage on your floor - the elevator stops between floors. We had to pull our suitcases up the stairs to the reception, then up the stairs to the elevator and in addition from the area between the 3rd and 4th floors to our 4th floor to the room.
The room was given good, we paid in advance about 140 euros / 2 days.
Our friends who arrived by car received a Standard room for 168 euros / 2 days without prior booking upstairs. It turned out that this room is an attic, its area is very small, the space between the bed and the walls is barely enough.
There was no full-length mirror like ours, and the TV was on the side of the headboard.
So who was lucky.
The room is clean. The hanger is full in the closet. In the bathroom - shower (dispenser with soap, shower without hose, but adjustable in different directions), sink (2 cups, cotton pads for 2 days, dispenser with soap), WC (drain handle slightly broken, 2 packs of toilet paper) . There is no mesh on the plum in the sink, be careful with small objects - earrings will fall, fly straight into the pipe.
The two had 2 white bath towels and 2 white little ones for hands and face. For 2 days no one changed them, I hung the bath to dry on a chair in the room (a small place to dry towels), and found there (although the room can be seen that cleaned - the bed is made).
Staff - Russians, Ukrainians.
Breakfast - it is better to go down before 8 o'clock in the morning to have breakfast, otherwise there may not be enough tables. Or after 9. In general, the dishes were reported, milk was added when it was over ...
sometimes we didn't take care of it, we asked the kitchen to bring milk - the staff brought it on request.
Breakfast was served with vegetables, sausages / sausages, English breakfast / European. The meat was home-cooked. Some fruits are canned. Oranges, lemons, fresh apples. Different cheeses.
Fruits, vegetables and cheeses were cut in different ways every day to show that everything was fresh. However, there were also salads with yesterday's sliced products (cheese, tomatoes ... )
We ate well, the quality of the dishes - look, choose what you like. Sausages are not very acceptable, but sliced sausage is delicious.
The exchange rate at the hotel is unprofitable: 23 crowns for 1 euro. In the center of Prague - about 10 minutes walk - a bunch of exchangers at the rate of 25-26 crowns for 1 euro.
The location of the hotel is good. Near Prague Castle, to the funicular to Petrzyn. Within 20 minutes walk of the large shopping center Laughs from Tesco in the middle.

The hotel is good, we lived in 506 overlooking the roof, it’s quiet and someone doesn’t jump on the head, although they were so tired that it was all the same. Perhaps the only room where you can smoke on the roof in the evening and you can not hear the traffic lights crackling. Breakfast buffet is quite decent and a good choice, if you do not warn the maid, it will be cleaned every day, towels are changed every day (if they are on the floor), linen is changed every three days, there are no slippers, but you can buy them at the reception for 1. … More ▾ The hotel is good, we lived in 506 overlooking the roof, it’s quiet and someone doesn’t jump on the head, although they were so tired that it was all the same. Currency exchange in the hotel is not profitable 20% less than in the city. Change money only from Arabs, these are exchangers with a blue sign, and always ask if you get as much as it is written. Charles Bridge is 5-7 minutes walk away. There is a chic restaurant KOLKOVNA-OLIMPIA on Malostranska street nearby. 18-25 euros for two, this is with alcohol. Very tasty and big portions.

To sleep peacefully in this hotel, you must be very tired during the day, otherwise the feeling that you are sleeping at the station will not leave you. Linen is promised to be changed every two days. . . but I have a feeling that my holey pillowcase has spent the whole week with me. Cleaning consisted of rolling up the blanket nicely and hanging the towels in their original place. The mini bar is a dry ration basket, no refrigerator. The garbage was taken out, and then thanks. There was no smell of a vacuum cleaner there, as witnessed by the “spiderman” who crawled out from behind the TV on the last day. Saving light in this hotel is a priority. So it’s impossible to think over the route in the evening without spoiling your eyes. Pros: good location and good breakfast.

I went to the Czech Republic for a tour. Lived in this hotel. I liked it very much. It was good to get to the meeting points. On foot, it didn’t take much time, or on 1 mode of transport without transfers. Charles Bridge is nearby. The food is great. Russian speaking staff. We were in this hotel in Prague in June 2010. I liked the hotel very much: convenient location (they got to the center on foot, to the metro - a couple of stops by tram), at the reception they understand Russian, beautiful interior. The room is comfortable, everything you need is there. The room was cleaned frequently: every day or every other day, towels were changed less often (when they got dirty, we threw them on the floor and changed them). … More ▾ We were in this hotel in Prague in June 2010. They left a tip - once they took it, the second time - no - strange... The breakfasts are modest, the choice is not great, but the atmosphere is homely. In general, I liked everything!! !

We were in Prague at the end of October 2009. The hotel corresponds to three stars. In 3–4 min. walk from Charles Bridge. There is no refrigerator and was not promised, although it is not such a luxury, it could be installed. They settled us in No. 501. Do not stay in this room if possible. There is no refrigerator and was not promised, although it is not such a luxury, it could be installed. They settled us in No. 501. Do not stay in this room if possible. The room is large, spacious, in a sense, even a penthouse. BUT! The windows overlook the elevator shaft! That is, the room is twilight, no view from the window - one "well". The toilet and shower are normal, though on the first day the towel was with a hole, but then they changed it. Liquid soap, hair dryer, shower - all honestly. There is a safe (paid). The beds are good, moderately hard. On TV from Russian speakers - ORT. Towels were changed regularly if you throw them on the floor, bed - once a week. Cleaned only 2 days out of 4. The breakfasts are delicious, there is a choice, the menu is the same every day (sausages, scrambled eggs, rice, cauliflower, a couple of types of cheeses and sausages, tomatoes, cucumbers, salad, some fruit, muesli, all sorts of sauces). There is a lot of cinnamon in baking. Drinks - tea, coffee, juices. The staff is English-speaking, though the kitchen workers are Russian-speaking. There is free luggage storage. There is free WiFi, but it only works on the ground floor, so you have to sit in the lobby. In general, the hotel and staff are ok. Host party - Terma-travel. Punctual, serious company, without any "Lokhov divorces"

If you go in the opposite direction to the Legia Bridge, then in 10 minutes you will find yourself on Wenceslas Square. A huge plus of the hotel is a tram stop 5 meters away, from where you can cross the bridge in bad weather and in 7 minutes you will be in the very center of Prague or at one of the stations. Breakfasts are plentiful - hot, salads, fruits, cereals. I recommend changing the currency directly at the hotel if you have no time to walk around the city in search of a good exchanger, because The administration has set a good course.

They did not experience any special enthusiasm.
The global drawback (from our point of view) is the leaky sheets that were laid out for us with enviable persistence, and at a very correct request to replace them, we were offered... A TABLECLOTH from the table. Moreover, she was brought to our room!!! ! The promises of the girl at the reception to correct the situation (in the morning, with the arrival of a special person in charge of sheets, duvet covers and towels) remained only promises, she did not even bother to warn the rest of the staff. The sheets were changed only after 2 nights to darned ones (more than 20 seams), and after another 2 nights again to full of holes, though this time with small, even almost neat holes.
To be honest, until that moment, my husband and I had never encountered such an attitude and such bed linen (more like a sieve). Consider the purpose of our journey to gauge the degree of resentment.
In addition, the inconveniences are: lack of knowledge of the Russian language by the employees (although most of them speak English well), lack of overhead light, lack of a hose in the shower, very small rooms, a tram rattling under the window, and the absence of a bedspread on the bed.
On the plus side, the hotel is in a good location and the breakfast is good.
If, after analyzing the information received, you still decide to stay in this place, we recommend that you solve the problems that arise directly with the owner (more precisely, the owner) of the hotel, since this is the only way to solve the problem.
* By the way, if in case of an early departure for an excursion, you need breakfast to go, then you need to warn the staff on the evening of the previous day. If, despite the warning, the employees refuse to give you breakfast to go, the hotel administration is obliged to return the money to you. Unfortunately, we also had to deal with this. : (
