Stayed at the Ambra Hotel over the New Year holidays.
The hotel is located at the intersection of Kisdiofa and Kiraly streets. Most of Pest's sights are within walking distance. Opera metro stop is 250 meters from the hotel. We booked a standard DBL on a special basis. price (accommodation for more than 3 nights) came out to about 50 euros / day. We got a small room, about 14-16 sq. meters, overlooking the courtyard. As we understood, the hotel has done cosmetic work in recent years - the photos on the Internet are often old. The rooms are opened with a magnetic card. Hansgrohe plumbing, judging by the faucet models, is 2-3 years old.
The bathroom was present: hair dryer, shower gels, a couple of bars of soap.
The minibar turned out to be with a minimum set - water / cola, beer, champagne, nuts, chocolate.
Cleaning is mediocre - for 6 days the floor in the bathroom was not washed once, as well as the linen was never changed, while the floor in the room was vacuumed daily and towels were changed, as well as finished gels were delivered.
The main disadvantage is the very high audibility in the room, part of the walls are built of ordinary drywall, you can hear everything - and how the neighbor went to the shower and how the water in the toilet is drained.
Breakfast at the hotel from 7 to 10 is covered quite dense. From hot constantly scrambled eggs, plus daily changing sausages, lecho, beans with sausages. A set of cold snacks is standard - yoghurts, pastries, cuts, muesli, vegetables. Of the benefits - without fail every day fruit. The coffee from the machine is average.
On the 2nd floor there is a pleasant lobby with a computer with free Internet access.
