In my opinion, the food in the main restaurant is much better. They settled us quite far, next to the second restaurant.
In the room, the door fell off the refrigerator, but these are the little things in life. We liked the hotel. Animation is awesome. Internet works at both receptions. There are two beaches. A great guy Islam worked on one. Special thanks to him. Room cleaning was done every day and very good. We went on an excursion to the Ras Mohammed nature reserve. I really liked the lake of desires and lunch at the Fares restaurant. The food there is just amazing.
If you choose Tropitel, I think you will not regret it. The hotel is strong, better than many others.
Animators held sports and entertainment events. The chief of animators Mahmud managed everything everywhere and everywhere. He himself entertained the guests, trying to pay attention to everyone. I was struck by his ability to calm down both roaming kids and rested adults. There were many dance shows, fire and fakir shows, Mr and Miss hotel contests, live music. The hotel has 2 restaurants: grill and the main one with European cuisine + a la carte. Partridges and a grilled jacket, pies, chocolate, gozinaki, halva, yoghurts were especially liked. In terms of nutrition: a lot of meat, interesting dishes, always fish, sweets, ice cream. Everything is fresh and tasty. After the hotel, you don’t even want to eat at home, knowing the quality of products in Ukraine. The animation at the hotel is active, every evening there are programs. But! At first, the volume of the music being turned on was very disturbing - especially when we tried to relax after lunch because of the heat - it was impossible because of the noise at the active pool. Later, we began to go to the beach at 15.00, and I don’t know if this mess continued. There are many families with children in the hotel, and it's hot until 16.00, I don't understand why these activities are at 15.00. But the same thing happened in Turkey.
Now about the beach - here is the problem: the beach is 500 m walk in the heat and it is tiny! People are on top of each other, as in the Crimea once, there are few umbrellas. But the beach is sandy, shallow, for children the most it. Slippers are not needed, there are no corals. Who wants to snorkel - you can walk to the left - there are several live corals, very beautiful. Half-meter parrot fish and a meter-long Napoleon are something! Now about the population of the hotel: they are mostly Russians, Belarusians, Kazakhs, Ukrainians. Arabs are few. I would call this hotel party, because. there are many young people, and middle-aged people came to the rooms at 3 am. Of course, preventing us from sleeping. Near the main building on the pool, people walked until midnight, it's good that this is not heard in the Resort area.
In general, the hotel staff has great respect, the owner wishes to expand the beach, and, well, our compatriots wish - well, think about people, be well-mannered, let others rest! And take care of the nature of Egypt.
FOOD: as in all standard 5x, one day on Tuesday they gave seafood, meat - eat to satiety, vegetables, fruits - the standard, they never complained about the quality of food, which is not important. We enjoyed the wine for dinner. Drinks do not dilute. We have not seen queues as in previous reviews.
The territory is very large, there is where to walk, take photos, panoramic views, lawns, pools.
We came across the sea, the pools did not bother us. This time we had to give up our favorite reefs for the sake of the child. Sandy entry into the sea, the sea is shallow, the most calm and warm bay. Sea - cross the square in front of the hotel on the right side - and here it is, the beach. Narrow, but there is always a place, a lot of fun, the animation is active, you can feel the atmosphere of the holiday. Fish near the pontoon, there are large specimens. You can have lunch, drinks - drink as much as you want. You can walk along the coast, see the beaches of other hotels.
In the evening there is where to walk, promenade, shops, cafes. Lots of people, fun atmosphere. We have been in many hotels in Egypt, there is something to compare. Something reminded us of Marmaris in Turkey. It can be seen that the hotel has a good owner, he cares about his reputation.
The rooms have excellent reliable plumbing, powerful water pressure, good water purification, it is soft, and there is always hot (very much!!! ) The food is on the level, there is something to compare with. Despite the fact that there are really a lot of vacationers in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Egypt, we had a great rest. There were never any excesses, the atmosphere was friendly. It's not Rixos, but very good! Recommended))
We settled at night, taking into account our needs, in building 9 with its own restaurant, room 2 large beds of 1.60 m each and a fairly wide and comfortable folding bed, with a bath and shower, everything worked, there was a kettle in the room. Water 1.5 liters per room for everyone, but when asked from the cleaner he gave as much as asked without problems, CHOCOLATE was not canceled. Cleaning without tip every day. Liked it very much.
The area is huge! All in a bungalow, greenery, there is where to walk, there is an observation deck with beautiful views.
Good food, no queues! there are 2 restaurants, the main one and the grill restaurant in building 9, in recent days they couldn’t eat at all, a lot of meat, chicken, quail, lamb, veal, fish, there were seafood on Tuesday, there were never any complaints about food, very good wine in the evening in a restaurant. Coffee, tea - standard. They gave a couple of times strawberries, every day melon, tangerines, oranges, grapefruits, dates. Vegetarians also have good food. The cakes are very tasty.
The beach is nearby, cross the road and the square on the right side of the hotel. Very fun, music, animation do not let you get bored. The sea is just for swimming, there are no corals, but there are fish, and quite large specimens, very beautiful. The water was clear as glass, you could see the bottom and the fish without a mask.
Vacationers - Russia, Belarus, Ukraine (many from the west), Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Egypt. The atmosphere is friendly, we were very worried about this. Never had a problem.
Departure to Kyiv on time, at 16.30, was taken from the hotel at 12.30, the suitcases in the lobby were packed for 2 dollars 1 suitcase. In a couple of minutes.

1. Territory: Clean, below everything is heaped and dense, at the top it is more comfortable. It is just beginning to be prepared for the high season (watered and combed). It will probably be green and beautiful, but later.
2. Rooms: The main building is a tin. The hotel is located under the mountain (main building 5 floors) and on the mountain (bungalows and private villas). In addition, vacationers at the Tropitel Waves Day and Night hotel go through our hotel to the beach, to the city and generally use the entire territory. We can't go to them. All residents of the villas, bungalows, Waves hotel go through the main building (they go to the 1st floor, go along the corridor to the elevator, go up to the 5th floor, go along the corridor to the exit). And so many times, around the clock and far from silent, but just the opposite, especially after night discos. Residents of the Waves are still driven from the main building to their hotel by a tractor (stylized as a steam locomotive, but it sounds like a tractor, especially when it goes uphill). There is no soundproofing in the rooms at all. From the street until two o'clock, a disco or the music of neighboring cafes yells (sliding windows), from the side of the corridor through the door you can hear voices, laughter and the bang of the elevator, announcing the arrival of the elevator on the floor (on the 5th floor you can hear when the elevator stops on the 1st floor). Some rooms overlook the dining room and restaurant next to the hotel (the smell of food, the noise of the hoods), some of the disco of our hotel on the 3rd floor (music and movement along the corridor from the elevator and back). There is a gap of 4-5 mm between the doorway and the door along the perimeter. At night, the light from the corridor replaces the night lamp. We went to the toilet without electricity. I liked the curtains (double, thick, not letting in light, though not washed), the beds (wide) and the mattresses on the beds (high, moderately tight, without depressions and bumps). I didn’t like the bathroom, on which glass was installed from the side of the bathroom to the ceiling (a la shower cabin) only 1/4 of the length from the side of the tap. It is impossible to wash and not splash on the floor, even if you sit on the tap. Such rooms are in the main building and in the bungalow (we changed the room with sooo much difficulty).
3. Dining room: Not a restaurant at all (Sovdepovskaya dining room, only distribution from two sides). Small, noisy, hot, not designed for so many vacationers. Even in the low season, the hallway in front of the dining room lined up with people wanting to eat and waiting for a free table. And the tables are so tight that there is no question of the coronavirus norm, and even it is not possible to sit down and stand up freely; tables are not wiped after previous eaters, but large food remains are simply brushed off, but as soon as you put down the appliance or go for sweets, everything is immediately removed from the table (from the half-eaten dish to all the appliances). You come with sweets, but there is nothing to eat it with. There are two ways out: either look for clean appliances (take it at the next table if / while there is no one there, i. e. steal for a while or eat with your hands). Another joke in this hotel: you can take tea only for breakfast, there is no tea for lunch and dinner (like Europe). There are all drinks (alcohol, yupi, coffee) but no tea. It's in the lobby bar on the first floor. Little quest: "How to eat a pie with tea? "
4. Food: varied and tasty. No matter what they write, but you can always eat delicious food. The breakfasts were generally delightful. Everyone has different tastes and requests, but the food was for every taste (and diet, and steamed, and baked, and fries, there is no only grill) And as always, BUT: the rule "who did not have time, he was late" often worked. e. there was not enough for everyone (strawberries, melons, duck, lamb's legs). There was a lot of food, but something was not enough and not designed for everyone. Maybe that's why there was a queue in front of the entrance to the dining room.
Drinks: all that we tried - rare rubbish (including tea, coffee). My husband occasionally drank bottled beer, we - water, tea.
Snacks: were present both on the beach and at the water park (drinks, buns, at 15-00 - ice cream from the cutter).
Beach: almost nearby, across the road (you won’t go in a swimsuit), sandy with a pontoon, special. shoes are not needed, small ones with densely stuck sun loungers (relatively new), BUT there are catastrophically not enough sun loungers for everyone, and there are many times fewer umbrellas (they are old, shabby and full of holes, they do not cover the shadow well and are dug in very rarely). In winter, getting sunburned is not a problem, but what will happen in the season? In addition, early in the morning, beach-boys lay out towels on deck chairs near the sea and in the shade, such as take places, and then sell them for $ 1 or place their fellow citizens on them.
Pools: There were 2 of 3 heated pools (near the main building and with slides near the bungalows). The heating was good 26-28*C, it seemed to us that the pool with slides was warmer. BUT with sun loungers the situation is like on the beach, and even worse with umbrellas. Finding a place in the shade is almost impossible. Need to take in the morning.
Towels are issued on the beach, at each pool (no need to wear), BUT they write down the room number, though from your words.
Service: the biggest OPA in the hotel. It is practically non-existent. Nowhere. Rewards don't work, chocolate doesn't work. Everyone takes it, smiles, promises to do it, but they do nothing, absolutely. When checking in (they gave us chocolates and a souvenir), they asked for a quiet room with any view - they gave it a "sea view" type and, in combination, a disco opposite the elevator on the 5th floor. We immediately went to change - there are no others, come tomorrow. The night was exhausted. Again no numbers. We turned to gestreleyshen, promised to help, but later. We came later with chocolate, come back later, we come even later - let's go tomorrow, there are no numbers. And people come and settle. I had to turn on the TANK and go ahead (demand the senior administrator, block the window at the reception and interfere with the settlement). And lo and behold, the number was found and even two to choose from. But for 3, both in the first and in the second version, they gave 2 single beds (there was also an option with 1 double bed). They absolutely do not want to put an extra place. We are tired of fighting and wasting our holidays on fuss. Fortunately, the child is small and we fit perfectly on a lorry. Everything in the room for 2 people. (water, towels, etc. ) Bathrobes and slippers on request (they asked for slippers, they brought bathrobes on the 2nd day, and slippers after 1000 reminders on the 4th). Slippers are good after a shower, the whole floor is in the water, and bathrobes are not needed in principle, we didn’t open them alone. And one in windy weather they took with them for a child (it is convenient to wrap it from head to toe after swimming). The room also smelled terribly of sewerage, it was washed, aired, sewerage and air conditioning were cleaned), the refrigerator did not work (we didn’t need it, we told the reception, but no one came, but we didn’t remind), the only outlet burned out , the card was constantly demagnetized (this is a joke of the whole hotel). Cleaning like in Egypt, the guy tried, we thanked him, but he took dirty towels, but didn’t add clean ones without reminders; I didn’t add tea, coffee, soap accessories, but we didn’t need to.
Population: Most of them are from Ukraine, also Kazakhstan and Belarus. By the end of the week, the Egyptians "came in large numbers". Almost all the staff speaks and understands Russian (who is better, who is worse, but with the help of mini-English and Russian it is not a problem to explain). The Egyptians themselves did not strain, they rested apart, obviously did not interfere with anyone. The obvious ignorance of the Slavs in the apparent proximity of the Egyptians strained. Compatriots will be served out of turn everywhere and always, even if you have already made an order, and an Egyptian has come up, you will wait, if another one has come up and he is standing 3 people after you, then they will first serve him. Although the Egyptian in the queue is nonsense (I saw it once, and then he is probably ours, but with an Egyptian appearance).
Guide and excursions: not the first time abroad and in Egypt in particular, but they fell for intimidation and bought an excursion on a yacht (money down the drain in the full sense). They took us to Tiran Island. The wind there is terrible, cold. Diving was more like a photo shoot for 10 minutes, there are no wetsuits for everyone, they were put on in turn, they do not match the size and are torn, water flows inside. Those who were second and then had to wear wetsuits. Some have given up diving altogether. Briefing no more than 10 minutes. No reef. Nobody wanted to snorkel at all. Then they took us to a warm bay opposite the Jazz Phanara hotel, we decided to swim there at least (there is less wind and much warmer), but the reef is also no, half-dead, there are few fish. Everyone was cold, some got sick. The travel agency next to the hotel offered us a cheaper and more interesting excursion to Dahab and the Blue Hole. But I didn't want anything anymore.
Animation: very good. We were never interested in animation, but here, well, just great, and exercises, and aqua aerobics, and yoga, and water polo, and dance training (salsa, belly dance), and live music and singing sometimes in the evenings, and shows, and MINI disco for children (children are completely delighted with Katya and her dancers). The animators are funny, perky, not intrusive, but captivating. It's a must see men playing water polo or girls and women dancing. And aunts, uncles, and young people of both sexes went to the exercises.
Summary: A hotel for thick-skinned, lazy people who don’t care, or for non-drying revelers who pass out in any position, or for those who are resilient under any circumstances and looking for positive even in the negative (we tried very hard to be like that) and then if the price does not exceed $ 300 per week for the entire tour.
This is the bottom line.
Our campaign is 4 families.
Every day three or four times we reprogram the cards from the front door. We are just bored and we amuse ourselves with this. Beach towel can only be taken once a day. If I passed and went to dinner, that's it - I was left without a towel.
The rooms are dead, the fridge doesn't work, the toilet flush didn't work for friends, they just went to the shared toilet because the hotel didn't have a push engineer.
I do not write for food and alcohol, because it is the same everywhere in Egypt.
But the staff is DNO.
In the cafeteria, you try to steal food from the food vendor. One tomato, one cucumber and pepper. All next. When you say that they put a little more on you, they start yelling at you or just pretend that you are not there and pour it on the next one.
At the lobby bar, no more than 2 glasses of drink in hand. After 24-00 all drinks are chargeable. This is despite the fact that our company brought its own alcohol, knowing the quality of the local one.

1. A small, not green, ugly area. One swimming pool (heated in January). When you check in, they give bad rooms on purpose (starting from 139-145 on the ground floor). The rooms are opposite the kitchen, it stinks all the time, the hood is buzzing + there are discos nearby: the noise of music until 12 at night). Want to change - pay extra. On the ground floor there is a “passage courtyard”, at night screams and noise, all the merry fellows pass by your rooms to the elevator.
2. The rooms are large, but far from the first freshness: the bathroom is covered in black mold, the taps are rusty! ).
3. The food is monotonous and completely tasteless, well, what kind of dish do not take - everything is rubbish! Especially terrible dinners they have. They manage to spoil even an ordinary potato!
They give fish of one type, often it is a frozen incomprehensible consistency in a very thick layer of breading. Rice, pasta and one kind of baked vegetables. No variety. Every day is the same. From fruits give green unripe melons, mandarin, grapefruit and dates. Drinks of the same quality: powdered juices, chlorine-flavoured detox tap water, terrible quality "coffee". If you want delicious - pay 2 dollars and buy Turkish! Alcohol is a complete mess. The restaurant has a lot of chipped dishes!
The service in the dining room deserves special attention: as soon as you put down your fork, the waiters immediately snatch your plate and take it away, even if you haven’t finished your meal yet. You have to control all the time so that the dish that you are still eating is not taken away from you. While you are eating, the janitor walks around and sweeps under your table with a plastic broom. It's not pleasant when a dirty broom is crawling up your legs!
4. You need to walk 3-5 minutes to the beach.
The beach is common, small, not very clean! In addition to your hotel, rest and other hotels. From 11 o'clock the beach is packed. There are a lot of flies on the beach! Another strange feature: if you want to change your wet towel, you will not be allowed. Lie further on wet. You can only take towels on the beach once. The entrance to the sea is sand. The underwater world is very scarce. One of the few positives about this hotel is its location. Located in the heart of Naama Bay. Lots of cafes, shops and stuff. But it is impossible to walk quietly. They pester, lure into their empty cafes and shops.
5. The sea is cold in January (22-23 degrees), it is impossible to swim!
6. If you are connected to the Internet (work, study), keep in mind that wi-fi is only at the reception (there is no Internet in the rooms), and then it is very weak and every other time. There are many cafes and "restaurants" near the hotel. One of them (on the corner to the left of the hotel exit) is KAN ZANAN. At first glance, it looks very tempting: they always have a full fit.
But don't fall for it. The restaurant itself is not very tasty and not very clean. While the prices are not very low.
Conclusion: I do not recommend accommodation in this hotel! Look for better options if you don't want to be disappointed in your vacation!
The food didn't disappoint for sure. Delicious and varied. A buffet with distribution exclusively by chefs is a little unusual, but in reality it is even more convenient, an addition is no problem. Meat, vegetables, soups, legumes, side dishes, fish, appetizers, cuts, pastries, desserts, fruits, everything is more than enough. We ordered shrimp for a fee, delicious, more expensive of course than taking on the market, but immediately on the spot and not going anywhere. Bars operate on the beach and by the pool with slides.
The beach is compact, very compact, in general there was enough space, but this is with an incomplete load of the hotel, or rather half the load, and plus a second line - a sister hotel to our beach. And when both are populated, I don’t even know... except to escape to neighboring beaches)). By the way, you can easily go to neighboring beaches, who needed corals with fish, went snorkeling there, we have another advantage - a sandy entry, but there is no good reef, but entry into the water is more important for me.
Entertainment. The hotel has an animation program, during the day there is activity, in the evening there is a disco for the kids, then a show, the program is interesting, with the involvement of artists. There are places to go outside the hotel, this is Naama - the center, full of cafes, shops, bars, discos. We got out to Soho Square once, took a walk, met with friends, devoted another day to excursions to the white island, on a yacht, ordered through tibaturcom, we are already regular customers), we are satisfied with the quality and prices. An excellent trip, beauty, a sea of impressions, and, as always, payment at the beginning of the tour, without prepayments.
We had a great rest. Thanks to the staff for their attention and care, rested comfortably, no one bothered. We are considering the hotel for the next year, if we decide to go to Sharm.
