The room is quite large, with a balcony. Amenities: hairdryer, TV, refrigerator, shower, bidet, kettle, bathrobes, fan, air conditioning, telephone, safe, slippers. Cleaning every day including weekends. Consumables are changed daily.
Breakfast on the ground floor in the annex is a buffet.
You can do it in the hall, or on the terraces, including those overlooking the sea. The menu is extensive and varied. Along with familiar European products, there are also local dishes. Fresh fruits, fruit drinks, tea, coffee, milk and much more.
The hotel is very conveniently located relative to the sea, it is the first line and, even more, right on the seashore. The pool, one might say, is right on the beach; lying on a sun lounger near the pool you can get under the drops of water to refresh the beach sand. It's not very affectionate at all. In the morning the tide is low and more or less calm. The entrance is long and sandy. Alas, the sea is not for children and not for those who are not confident in their swimming skills, but it is warm! In the afternoon, the wind increases and an additional danger is added - numerous kite riders appear! The tan is almost instant. The beach line is very long.
At the exit from the hotel there is a road along which there are shops, shops, food outlets, massage parlors, rental shops, and excursion sales. In short, like a promenade in any resort town!
About one km from the hotel, to the right, there is a government store (Ana Silk) where you can buy natural silk (scarf 80 by 80, about 30 euros). To the left by bus (1.5 euros) or Grabe (similar to Bolt, approximately 5-6 euros) about 10 km to the city of Phan Thi? t (Phan Thiet) where there are shops and a Lote mark supermarket where you can buy good goods at reasonable prices.
The pluses of the hotel include a very well-groomed territory and quite high-quality food. The front desk is very nice young ladies, special thanks to them for their help in finding a store with diving equipment. The disadvantages of the hotel include the following: audibility in standard rooms is simply unrealistic, since there is no entrance vestibule, and the bed is almost next to the door. I wanted to sleep a little longer on vacation, but every time I woke up in the morning to the noise of the maids in the corridor. I don’t even dare to guess what audibility in the Deluxe Rooms, but considering that they have glass walls and a door towards the corridor (it’s just tin, because the maids stubbornly pushed the curtains apart after cleaning, exposing panties to all guests passing along the corridor, pads, socks, etc. ), with audibility there is probably just a disaster. Chaise lounges are the most primitive self-propelled gun with often leaky and torn mattresses. New, for the renovated pool, local carpenters of the 4th day pounded and painted literally on their knees a few meters from the reception. A pipe sticks out very unpretentiously on the beach, from which healing water from a local miracle spring flows directly into the sea to the bathers (apparently, the owners did not have enough money for the underground aeration field for clarified effluents from treatment facilities). The decoration of the rooms leaves much to be desired, but this is understandable - the owners most likely simply do not have money for current repairs, everything goes to construction. The maids are very diligent, but the curtain on the window in the bathroom was not washed from fungus and mold. There are no other major downsides. Well, there the air conditioner flows right along the wall, the duvet cover is in the form of two rough sheets, between which a blanket is stupidly inserted...... tolerable. Very upset by the lies on the part of the owners at the office. hotel website: in the 3D panorama and in the photo you will not find a construction site and you can even virtually visit the HIPPOCAMPE RESTAURANT, which is currently under reconstruction and is fenced with a profiled sheet fence.
To summarise, I will definitely not be going back to this hotel.
About safety on local beaches.
I had a chance to see for myself that the kitesurfing season on local beaches is a very unsafe time for ordinary tourists to swim in the sea. Kiters in full cut right between the swimmers and the fact that this periodically ends sadly, only a complete idiot cannot help but understand. On November 13, in front of my eyes, a kiter on a board rode over the heads of a student with an instructor who went into the sea with a kite without a board. It is much easier to notice them from the board (the student is generally wearing a protective helmet) than just swimming. The kites got mixed up, of course the guys shot them off and this garland was blown by the wind right on the vacationers in the sun loungers. Thank God the Vietnamese managed to catch her already on the shore. Of course, the local authorities are to blame for all this anarchy (since the beaches here do not belong to hotels) and it is they who should restore order in this area. I also decided to actively learn kitesurfing (well, what else to do? The sea is murky, and the pool does not work), and one of the first stages was learning how to control the kite itself (a towing kite, a bit like a parachute). At some point, I, like many other students, walked along the shore with him, completing the task of keeping him in the given direction, without dropping him on the heads of those lying in deck chairs. I successfully coped with this task, but considering that for the first time I was given a kite with an area of .12 meters (usually they give a very small one with short lines), I had a quite reasonable question for the instructor: does it happen that a kite is dropped on the heads of other vacationers? It turned out that this happens to students from time to time. The design of the kite contains a balloon with air, which gives rigidity to its design, due to which the kite weighs about 4 kg. For this reason, every season there are cases when even tourists lying peacefully in sun loungers get injured (including cuts by slings) from a kite that fell on their heads during a sharp gust or failure of the wind under the control of some student.
Lastly.
We went through Pegas Touristix. On the bus, the guide talked about the fact that it is simply vital for everyone to buy a fruit basket home, since Nordwind Airlines (Pegasus' daughter) does not take into account the weight of these baskets in the weight of luggage and hand luggage. Two women asked him again - is that right? They say just now our friend returned from Vietnam just by Nordwind and everything was taken into account for her, and they made her pay extra for the excess. The Pegasus guide authoritatively assured that all this is garbage and the information is reliable from him, and not from someone's girlfriend. As a result, on the way back, all the tourists loaded onto the bus with standard baskets of fruit, and then, at the check-in counter for the Nordwind flight, a whole crowd of people scratched their turnips with an overweight for the dilemma - to throw out these fruits or pay crazy money for every kilo of overweight. Apparently Pegasus has such an unpretentious way of divorcing tourists for money. Study carefully the rules of transportation on the airline's website.
Summary - as I treated this tour operator and its employees with disgust, I continue to treat it. If I go through them, I never go to a meeting with their guide (only spam and no use), I always register myself with the consular register (2 minutes on the Foreign Ministry website) and arrange normal insurance with legal services. For help, only to the consulate or the assistance company of the insurer.
Be sure to take shower gel and shampoos with you, quality in Mui Ne is hard to find and they cost several times more than ours.
We flew with Aeroflot Boeing 767 with a transfer in Moscow. No particular complaints . . Only next time we will take a business class . . The distance is small between the seats, they say that the Airbus is better, I don’t know, I didn’t check it. They fed normally, but it’s better to take something with you for a pod.
We arrived in the morning, got a visa and....here it is, happiness - Vietnam ! ! We had an individual transfer, we were met in a Toyota Fortuner jeep))) nice! 4.5 hours of travel and we are there.
The first impression of the hotel is pleasant . . The territory is clean, everything is green, palm trees, coconuts and orchids in pots! Settled quickly. The room was Garden Deluxe I. The rooms are good, the furniture is not old, the paintings in the room, the flowerpots in the bathroom) In general, it looks even like 5 stars . . Flat TV with one Russian channel . . Free Wi-Fi! Tea, coffee, a tea set, as well as bathrobes, and soap and soap accessories in the range . . In short, everything is decent, if not for one BUT . . We lived on the second floor, it was a little stuffy in the room and we opened a balcony . . So here, a rat came to visit us . . 30 centimeters . . Br! She wanders calmly around the room . . though from my scream she hurried to retreat, but the rest of the night we filled up half an eye . . The number was changed for us, though with some fights, because. it was April 30th - Vietnamese Independence Day and all the rooms were occupied. . Dali deluxe II with sea view on the 3rd floor. . There were no more adventures in the hotel. .
Now about breakfasts. I didn't like it. . Honestly! There is a choice, but everything is somehow tasteless, or something . . They ate mostly fruits and pancakes with jam. But in street cafes they overate . . Ooooh! Madam Dean, Rainbow and Forest!! ! I recommend the frog in garlic and the pigeon! ! nyayam!
There are a lot of sun loungers on the beach, there are almost always free ones . . The sea is warm to disgrace, waves in the afternoon! We swam and fooled around like children))) It’s better not to buy anything on the beach, it’s exactly 2 times more expensive than on the street . .
Excursions were taken at 1000 and 1 night. I liked Dalat and the reclining Buddha. The sands and the lake of lotuses are bullshit. . You can go to the Cham towers yourself. I recommend shopping to go to the market in Phan Thiet. Everything is cheaper and there is a large selection, especially if you haggle. .
Most of all I liked... people! A smile, another smile, and a completely sincere one)) Just for the sake of this, I want to return!
In general, the impressions about the hotel are positive, but we won’t go to it again . . Somehow . . I wasn’t impressed, or something . . There is no soulfulness in it and that sincere openness that pervades the news of Vietnam . . But it honestly deserved its 4 points!
We made the only mistake by saving that we checked into the Seahorse Hotel in a room in the building. We didn’t like it at all: the room was small, and the balcony - you couldn’t fit in there together, it was stuffy. But already on the third day we met a couple from Chelyabinsk, they lived in our hotel, only in a bungalow - that's really class there! We, consider, spent almost all the time with them, because it was stormy and it was impossible to swim. Since this year we firmly decided to go to Vietnam again and, possibly, to Cambodia. I looked after myself with the same company a combined tour of Cambodia-Vietnam, now we will choose only a bungalow !!!
And in all other respects I liked the hotel - clean, large territory and well-groomed, they are fed so that you can’t eat at one time. Almost always overeat for breakfast, because it's delicious. But in most cases, they still could not finish eating.
In a word, the hotel is cool, just choose a bungalow!
The rooms are large and nice, there is a huge window in the toilet, blocked from the street with bamboo walls, in an original way: ) Air conditioner, TV, bathrobes, slippers, combs, teeth. brushes, umbrella, kettle and tea and coffee set. Minibar for a fee. Huge terrace with columns, here and jour. table and sunbeds and chairs with stools.
The hotel has Internet, free of charge, there are 4 computers in the main building, but there is also WiFi, but normal reception is only near the main building.
The beach is small, sun loungers by the sea sometimes had to take hours at 8-9 in the morning, but in general it was not stressful. Pearls are sold on the beach: pink, white, black. A set of beads and a bracelet - $ 8-10, bargaining is welcome. In the city, I saw pearls more expensive, although I didn’t look closely. Pool bar for a fee. Great SPA, went there many times. The most expensive massage is $80 for two, an hour and a half, an hour for the body and half an hour for the face. All with fragrant oils and the like, very cool.
Prices in Mui Not just cheap. A can of beer 0.33 - 12 rubles.
, a bottle of mineral water - 8 rubles, a battle of rice vodka - $ 2 (like our pallet a la the 90s, but I persuaded the bottle when their beer got fed up), local Dalat wine - $ 3 (excellent, both white and red) . Fruits are also cheap, bananas, tangerines, papaya, oranges, watermelons, etc. Many souvenirs, everything is also cheap.
Lots of restaurants, cafes. Dine for two with beer or wine - $10-15. I liked the Lucky Star restaurant, VERY friendly staff, good prices. The freshest seafood in baskets at the entrance, you choose what you want and they immediately roast it on the fire in front of you.
Excursions at the hotel are not cheap, but we booked a jeep with a driver from a travel agency on the street. A trip to the Cham Towers and Phan Thiet cost 20 dollars for two, a trip to the Red Canyon and Lotus Lake cost 25 dollars for two.
In general, we rested for 5. There will be questions - write.
