We had a great time, the staff is polite, the food is varied and very tasty, they are not greedy with portions of meat.
Free transfer three times a day to the sea (corals and sandy), literally 5-7 minutes to get there, very convenient
Also, a transfer to the Old Town and the center in the evening, they also arrange trips to clubs. There is also lunch on the beach.
The rooms are clean and tidy) the hotel guide is a wonderful person, he offers cool excursions inexpensively)
Animators do not let you get bored, they always come up with something to entertain (football, volleyball, darts, yoga, well, evening programs)
And by the way, Wi-Fi works very well throughout the hotel)
Thank you hotel for a cool stay))
And then, having overworked, he lies on sunbeds in the midst of a working day near tourists ! ! All photos are attached.
Also, be prepared for the room cleaner to steal your food from the fridge!
And about food, I recommend taking something separate, because only in this case you will be able to see the hair and nails of the Arabs in time on your plate. Which happened many times during our vacation. So to say "Egyptian souvenir" ...
P. s. natasha-animator, hello. Do not sleep, quickly take the accounts of new tourists and scribble fake positive reviews to increase the rating of the hotel. You are talented in this! Get started!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE HOTEL, DO NOT MAKE OUR MISTAKES!
Settled immediately in a room on the first floor. At first I was upset: the room was tired, the view of the lawn and the fence, the toilet was dirty. I wanted to change it, but it didn’t work out (just some kind of police conference was held with them). Then she calmed down: on the lawn the birds sang in the morning, the bed and towels were clean, green paper and a chocolate bar helped put the toilet room in relative order. The room is very spacious, there is a kettle, coffee, tea, water, a large closet, a terrace.
The territory of the hotel is a development in the form of two circles of two-story buildings, inside each circle there is a pool for children, a pool for adults, a pool bar, etc. I liked the territory, there is where to walk, green lawns, birds, sunbeds enough.
The food is standard for Egypt, but quite varied. From what I liked: falafel, feta and yogurt for breakfast, they cook delicious beef, lamb. Once there were shrimp and squid and the next day squid with vegetables. Fruits: sweet melon, dates, apples, plums, a good selection of sweets (cakes, oriental sweets). Wine, beer (not bad) brought by the waiters. Tea, coffee in the restaurant only for breakfast, the rest of the time - in bars (coffee machines). Juices are soluble (be careful for children - there may be an allergy).
Evening animation - was. From what we saw: competitions for guests, a visiting acrobat, a visiting singer - he sang songs of the 90s well, both Russian and English, until our tourists took the microphone from him and began to sing themselves (madame from Zaporizhia - worse than Tagil !! ) .
Now the main thing that scared me. The hotel is located on the 25th line from the sea. But! Very well organized trips to the beach. There are two options:
1. Coral beach - a reef, a lot of fish, it's not scary to swim, there is no wind and currents.
2. Sandy beach in the old town - swim, children play in the sand. The open sea is not visible, the impression is as if you are on some kind of lake. On both beaches there are bars from the hotel, lunch (fries, rolls with something, vegetables, oranges, dates). Paid ice cream and fruits (on sandy it is much tastier). So, they take buses, strictly on time, you need to sign up, but this is so that they understand how many buses to serve. Even if you are alone, they will come. In terms of time - three options for departure, I don’t remember exactly, but at about 8-30.9-30.10. And back too. That is, you can do everything. We even had time to go to the coral beach in the morning, return to the hotel for lunch, and in the afternoon - to the sandy one. On the way to the coral beach, you can go to Il Mercato (there is a Mango market, a Russian pharmacy), and then walk to the beach yourself - 10 minutes.
An additional bun - they take you from 19 to 22 for free to the Old Town and Naama Bay.
Conclusion: The hotel is good. But everyone decides for himself.
Objectively, the hotel has 4 stars, that is, worse than 5 stars and better than 3, BUT there are BUT, which I described in the minuses. Also, objectively, the hotel is not expensive, and perhaps there would be nothing better for your money.
The hotel is located near the old town, has a small territory.
Minuses:
1) They smoke everywhere in the hotel, in the dining room on the site, near the sun loungers, everywhere. We were a small child and we do not smoke, the constant disgusting because of cigarettes. No non-smoking area and no wind ie. you seem to be in a smoking room, so everyone around is smoking.
2) The children's pool is not heated, there are 4 pools in hotels, 2 adults and 2 children's, and so not a single children's pool was heated, we bathed a child at 10 months because of this in an adult pool.
3) They feed the same, there is no variety. Today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and until the very departure will be the same. The choice is small, 2-3 side dishes to choose from. For breakfast, there is only one side dish - mashed potatoes, and so every day, mashed potatoes, mashed potatoes, mashed potatoes. Soups are not tasty and constantly oversalted.
4) I lost my room key, I came to the reception to get a new one, they told me $16, and they said that I would need to pay when checking out. On the day of check out, I was told that I should pay $30 instead of $16 for a plastic card that costs $1-$2.
5) Prices for additional services in hotels are quite expensive, even for Egypt. For example, 5 massages $100, laundry $10, excursions are 4 times more expensive than in the "old town", and so on.
6) The sewerage was clogged in the room and from time to time water from the sewerage rose to our room.
7) Everything except beer is slop. Take your own alcohol or buy in Egypt in stores. Cocktails are not made very well, without fruits and anything - they mix sprite with rum and that's it.
8) WiFi is paid ($2 per person per day). Yes, I know for SIM cards, but even in the cheapest hotels there is free WiFi at the reception, there is none here.
9) No volleyball. In the description of the hotel it is, in fact it is not in the hotels. Only available on the beach.
Pros:
1) There is no wind on the territory of the hotel;
2) A good coral beach (beautiful sea, live corals), this is important for those who travel overseas, here it is. The beach itself is very small and crowded.
3) Excellent attitude of staff towards vacationers;
4) Clean everywhere, in the pool, in the room (we always left $1);
5) Many bars, on 2 beaches, 2 pools in the hotel, in the dining room and at the reception.
One star due to smoking and lack of non-smoking areas, as well as ripping off $ 30 upon departure for a plastic card.
The room is normal, if you don’t show off, then one significant remark, the toilet was dirty, the seat was washed with wet disinfectant wipes and the brush was broken, the rest will do. In the morning there is a smell of sewage on the street, perhaps they water the plants with such water, then the smell goes away, therefore, in the morning it is better not to meddle on the balcony, we take everything easier, so we liked the hotel, good food, if you are not a gourmet, there is something to eat , not everything is to your taste, but you can choose what you like, there is plenty. I tried wine, I don’t want to anymore, but many people drink it, for me it’s some kind of surrogate, beer is normal, I don’t know why someone complains that it’s diluted, not true, ordinary beer.
There is a significant drawback, there is almost nothing around the hotel, you won’t go for a walk, nowhere, but you can walk for about 20 minutes and there are shops or taxis, on average, 150 rubles. Well, on the sea by bus, which you need to sign up for. Two beaches, both liked.
The result is this, but it’s dirty, but the guests themselves make a mess, they dropped a piece of cake, they didn’t pick it up, etc. But we didn’t see such a mess and horror, as it is written in the review “it’s impossible to live”, what we saw in the eyes of the beholder)) we saw the sun, the sea, smiling staff, we didn’t particularly address anyone and didn’t ask for anything, we just rested. Upon arrival, I saw our guy a little swollen, who considered it necessary to explain to the man at the reception that he would work better, I didn’t immediately understand what he wanted, and then, as I understood, he followed him and said “best work, best work”, what was the essence of the claim was never found out, he was dragged away by a girl.
All excellent rest and good mood.
The hotel is located 20 minutes drive from Sharm airport, right next to the road. It consists of several two-story buildings overlooking the road or the internal pools. Upon arrival, the smell was unpleasantly surprising (once it was in the stable, something like that), then it turned out that in the morning they were watering the lawns with technical water, an hour later everything was fine, it was ventilated to see)).
In connection with the early arrival, we had to wait for the check-in, however, they still settled us earlier than the prescribed 14.00 and, surprisingly, for free. The room was on the 2nd floor overlooking the road. The room and balcony are large (the most spacious in our travel history), comfortable wide bed, furniture (not new, but quite decent), safe, refrigerator, TV with 30 channels (not all local)). For a leftover chocolate bar or a dollar, they twisted figures from towels, changed the bed every day (! ) and gave more bottles of water.
In the evening on the day of arrival, a meeting was held with the hotel guide Abdullah (again, the travel agency Joyce (((), a rather unpleasant young man who suggested that we fill out questionnaires that indicated which excursions we wanted to take, and also warned about responsibility when buying excursions outside hotel (? ) We didn’t fill out the questionnaires and didn’t hand over to the guide, for which a small revenge followed at the check-out, like “No? on the bulletin board, we found out ourselves through a travel agent. By the way, Joyce's transfer to the airport from the hotel was an hour late, so we arrived 1.5 hours before departure. .
The food at the hotel is at a decent level - every day meat (chicken, beef, fish), once there were even grilled crabs. A fairly rich selection of pastries and sweets, ice cream for lunch every day.
Drinks are poured and brought by waiters - juices, alcohol to choose from, cocktails are made to order. Food is laid by workers behind a glass partition.
The hotel has 2 of its own beaches - sandy with a gentle approach and coral with a sunset from the pier. Buses run to and from the beach, the schedule is convenient. Drive 8-10 minutes. Enough sunbeds, there are mattresses. The hotel provides towels against the card. The hotel itself has 3 swimming pools, one completely paddling pool and 2 adults (150 cm deep). There are bars by the pools - water, cola, beer, cocktails. There is an animation team - well done guys (Lalya, Zizo, Eslam, Rita, etc. ), they try not to let you get bored. Entertainment programs in the evenings.
We took excursions on the street - a sightseeing tour (quad bikes, camel riding, swimming on a reef, a drive to the town of Dahab and some kind of canyon) and a trip on a yacht to a coral reef (all for $ 20 / person). Not impressed (well, at least the hotel Abdullah was not overpaid))).
Distance from the hotel to the old city by taxi for 2-3 dollars 10 minutes. Shops only souvenir, fruit and seafood. At prices - mango 1-2 dollars / kg (class)), shrimp (large, cooked right there) - 7 dollars / kg. No textiles (not Turkey, however)).
CONCLUSION. The hotel deserves attention and praise. As elsewhere, there are minor flaws, but not critical. Joyce Tours and its employees - GUANO, there will be offers from them - do not contact)).
The hotel was chosen based on the reviews and rating of the hotel. In reality, this is the picture.
Pros: good animation, good food (when locals are visiting).
Cons: The hotel is very tired. Rest in it in the vast majority of locals. Bright and colorful people who absolutely do not care about those who are next to them. They like to order food in the room, then they put dirty dishes with food leftovers right on the corridor. And it all stands there for about a day, no one cleans it.
If you are going to go, be prepared for the fact that the locals are awake until 2-3 at night. Under our balcony, for example, local guys emotionally played football right on the lawn until 2 am. And when the ball flew to our balcony, they immediately climbed to get it, not missing the opportunity to see who lives there. My wife, hearing that the balcony door opens, was shocked.
The hotel has 2 beaches, but to get there, you need to sign up for a bus for a day. Didn't make it - your problem.
If the locals are resting, the food is good. As soon as they leave, everything immediately changes into a minus.
But the most unpleasant thing is the CONSTANT EXCHANGE OF MONEY ON THE LIGHT PLACE.
There is such Khabib at the reception, so he asked for $50 to check in earlier. I had to give, because they were very tired from the road. And do not believe anyone that check-in until 14.00 is free!! ! The beaches are very dirty. The locals throw everything right under their feet and into the sea, it’s their custom. You can write more and more, but I summarize, I want to say one thing: I will never go to this hotel again and do not recommend it to anyone.
P. S. I rarely write reviews, but I couldn't resist. . .
1. Attitudes towards our tourists and locals are not equal. There was a lot of food, varied and delicious, there are no complaints but served so-so, 5 Arabs and 2 of ours. Personally, I don't remember the name of the waiter (unpleasant-looking, old and pot-bellied) from my table in the "restaurant". )
2. When delivering speeches to the room, the employee began to demand 10 dollars, because 2 numbers for 5 bucks count (we had 3 bags for 3 people, 1 nose man, for what 10? ) We were shocked by the fact that gave him 1 dollar . This devil at the reception always controls the lists on the beach.
3. The hotel has 2 beaches, coral and sandy, beautiful beaches, clean.
Take them by bus, where you need to book back and forth in advance at the hotel. I didn't sign up, after sleeping or forgetting, everyone was sitting in the room. The scenery is great, especially on the sandy beach!
4. Our tourists were chased from everywhere! Leave the pool at 16:00 because they need to clean, and since the locals arrived, all swim until 18:00, but we do not care, we still did not want to sit there.
They also liked to expel them from the "restaurant" 30 minutes earlier, until they arrived.
And give everyone chocolates. So it was necessary to take not 5 pieces, but a bag, because someone has 9 daughters and they need them.
In short, bright!
