Constantly thorough cleaning in public catering, surrounding area (tiles), clean rooms, delicious food, animators, entertainment program in general, leisure time is thought out + internet in the room.
Someone lost money, I found it, turned to the lifeguards on the beach and asked for help (they said they would take it to the reception), they decided to take it to the reception, but unfortunately they never delivered. In general, the money was found, but there was no action on the part of the hotel or the animators (I came up repeatedly to announce the find) (and in another case it was the tourist’s last money).
We visited the Malai restaurant and liked everything very much and the child was given a bonus of ice cream (he was very happy).
Happy children, happy parents!
The territory itself is very small, it is also under construction, the pools are a bit creepy, especially for the kids, the smell from the swamp, I would not risk dipping a child there. Food . . the question could be omitted, it is plus or minus the same in all of Hurghada, but ...you are 5 stars, bring one plate of rotten strawberries every 5 days and sell pieces of watermelon ...and even cut bracelets after eviction, although the transfer is very far away and thus charge people money for food, a shame for 5k. I have never seen this in any hotel. Do you feel sorry for the bowls of porridge and soup? As for animation, the guys are great in their place and earn their money 100%. Adult children are fascinated by dancing and games throughout the day!
In conclusion, I want to say, yes, everyone chooses one or another vacation for themselves, but from personal experience I’ll say trust the reviews of tourists and not video reviews by a blogger who advertises such horror for money, and then you will not be disappointed in what you see, but on the contrary, you will also be surprised !
1) beautiful cakes, thanks to the confectioner
2) gorgeous views and sunsets.
3) good work of animators
4) Cleaned well, almost flawlessly. Changed towels and sheets every day.
Minuses
1) The food is disgusting, it seems that the cooks do not know how to cook at all, you never chew beef and liver, no matter how many days you have not tried it. Hoping that at least someone will be able to cook. The potatoes and pasta are undercooked, all without salt.
2) The reef at the hotel is half dead, and it's scary to go to the bottom because of the living creatures.
I saw a moray eel and a small stingray.
3) The position of the hotel. : not a busy street, few shops, out of the way.
Sahl Hasheesh, where the hotel is located, gives the impression of European Egypt. The promenade, the square of the fountains, the old town stylized in the old style are excellent places for evening walks, including on a golf cart, which can be rented for an hour from 15 bucks. The hotel is well fed, there is a separate diet table and a table for children (soups, cereals, dairy, boiled vegetables and meat, vegetables, fruits, sweets). A la carte restaurants can be visited twice for free. The staff is friendly, helpful. Show programs every evening, three locations for performance at the same time. Children's animation is conditionally available. Disadvantages: depending on the shift, problems may arise during the settlement - you need to fight for a good room; at the end of our holiday, part of the slides did not work; there are no baby pots in the hotel; in the evening there is an acute shortage of ice for cocktails; the service hours do not always correspond to the stated description.
It's terrible! People are not taken to the territory, it is not worth the money!
So in order:
1. Arrived at the hotel at 8 am, after a night flight tired and hungry - we were not even offered to drink, not to mention the food (although breakfast before 10, miserly misery!!! ) Said to wait until 14, we slightly raised the tone and the time changed dramatically at 11 am.
2. About 11 of us settled in a room and gave 2 dry rich, orange and banana and then for two! The room is good, the furniture is new, the view is "impressive" for construction! While the Arabs are housed in brand new buildings ((((Asked for a second room overlooking the pool, $ 15 surcharge did not suit the park from the reception ...spat and stayed in the original ...greedy to the limit) ((
3.
Plus, the area is large and clean, many pools and slides for children (because there are hard workers who work here), which is not to say, unfortunately, about shared toilets, receptions and even the main restaurant - a terrible stench, srach, and divorces on the tables are waiting for you all "Unforgettable" trip (+ as a bonus shit dog or crow or camel is not clear - on the beach waiting for you from 6 am))))
4. The Arabs take their dirty mouths and taste the food from the common dishes on the buffet (Foo, abomination! ).
5. Food - we have never seen a poorer choice! If you like rice, rice rice, or rice with rice or chicken stuffed with rice, then you are here))) Very nausea from rice and stinking soda catfish! Complained on the penultimate day, then gave more potatoes to the peasants, however, so spicy that it was impossible to eat! Pasta and sausages were given to children every day - morning, lunch and evening!
The rest of the dinner must be prepared for dinner, such as a dish - an insect in another nightmare - rice mixes with spaghetti, what's left of the dinner for you? Do you like such "exquisite cuisine"?
In general, if you want to lose weight - you can go))
Only the morning pastries with tea were delicious! At lunch I was always hungry, my husband was looking for something not yet scratched and fresh! For dinner there was a grilled chicken which was very fried, thus making smoke all over the hotel!
6. My husband had a DN, he was not only greeted and brought to tears! There is no photographer in the territory of such a cool 5 * hotel! ! ! ! ! I wanted to give a surprise - a family photo shoot so they made this circus to call a photographer from Hurghada and take 10 pictures I had to pay $ 120! ! ! ! ! It's terrible!
7. Shops and pharmacy in the hotel are not bad - a good bargain at half price here just in time!
8.
The hotel manager pretends to be a fool, when people come to the reception to write complaints, he forgets even English. And he must know 5 languages, the Manager with a capital letter, but in big quotes! The man is clearly out of place! I did my best to drown this hotel in such a shallow sea (((((
9. Animation is just a delusion! If your children watch a few cartoons at home, you are here too! Here to include a cartoon for half an hour and that's it))) Geniuses who speak only English and it's very clumsy!
10. The staff I clean in the rooms and on the street, as well as the waiters - very polite and hardworking people ...the poor man lacks smart leadership! What can you say about the guys at the reception, adequate only Hussem (by the way, is fluent in three languages: English, Russian, Arabic), all other rude and extortionists, or nonsense in which he selects the language when asking questions.
Young, curly, light-skinned is a general waste - a great attitude to tourists!
In general, the circus on the wire in this hotel every day, you want "fun" and not where to put the money is great)))
The hotel pulls on 3, or 4 * with a big stretch and then only through the territory! Everything else needs big changes! ! ! ! !
After lunch from 14.30 to 15.00 we were waiting for the settlement. At 15.00 we were finally given a room for a present in the new wing overlooking the pool (lucky the first time). The new wing is 1 (some of the windows overlook the pool, all the rooms have a sea view, and some overlook the "garden" - the unfinished hotel), the numbers start at 1, the next digit is the floor and two digits is the room number. Old wing - 2, some of the rooms overlook the pool, and some of the water park. Wing No. 3 does not function at all, prepared for repair.
The room came with new furniture, a large TV, refrigerator, kettle, hair dryer, safe, relatively clean, everything worked properly. From cosmetics there were only shower gel and shampoo (replenished as needed), there was no soap at all. Every day, when cleaning, water was replenished (1.5 liters per person), tea, coffee, sugar, and, if necessary, toilet paper. The bed is old in spools, the towels are relatively new. There were no beach towels in the room at check-in and there was one bath towel and a foot towel for two. We ran after everyone for another hour to give at least towels for the beach... then they were impudently torn from the cleaner (old and faded), hidden on a cart and went to the beach. After we came back from the beach, the sets of bath towels were already on the shelves.
The beach is huge, up to 300 m long, with seven rows of sunbeds. At any time, you could lie down on the first line. The sun loungers are old, white paint is peeling on metal and wood, the mattresses are good, but there are few of them. Umbrellas are small, partly untwisted, give shade poorly. The beach is dirty, in the sand: stones, shells, glass, sticks, no one sifts the sand. Entering the sea without coral is IMPOSSIBLE!! ! Many acquaintances were cut on the stones and shells of the leg. About a meter when entering the sea - sand with small pebbles, and then prickly cracked rocky formations covered with silt up to 10 m long, then sand with stones, corals and sea urchins. On the beach, if you go to the right, there is an exposition of the sunken city - columns with images of faces covered with corals, slabs, an old iron structure in which fish huddle.
Before the buoys around the perimeter of the sea there are small coral patches with fish. FOR THOSE WHO SWIMMING AND SNORKLING - go left, to the end of the beach and swim towards the island and you will be happy - coral gardens and more than 20 sections of different sizes of cral reefs that you can swim over, absolutely alive, colorful, with many fish, really big ones are afraid of people and immediately hide. We saw moray eels, various types of stingrays, even a huge spotted eagle, turtles, fish: unicorns, parrots, bodyfish of various types, various colors of butterflies, clowns in sea anemones, pufferfish, lionfish, triggerfish, surgeons and many small fish.
Regarding the rest in the summer, it is very hot from 10.00 to 15.30. On the beach is impossible, the sand is hot. On the plus side - very warm water even at 6 am, in the afternoon the top balls of the sea are just hot. You can stay on the beach even after sunset, but without swimming in the sea. The hotel is ideally located for the summer, it takes only 2-3 minutes to go to the beach from the restaurant and buildings in the heat.
The restaurant is large, consists of two halls, large and small, part of the food is given out in one hall (hot), part in the other (fruits, vegetables, salads, sauces and sweets), in the evening part of the food was cooked on the street, which is very inconvenient, run around the halls and stand in line everywhere. The food is served by the cooks, they are wearing masks and gloves, the cleaners are partly wearing masks, partly not at all. The range of food is small, standard for Egypt, they cooked mostly delicious (if not burnt), there were even edible soups and an analogue of borscht, for lunch there was always beef or meatballs, chicken, fish, for dinner they added grilled, boiled pork from beef, fried tuna, squid, mackerel, chicken. Vegetables and fruits are sliced and not always fresh, sometimes with sand, sometimes already sour. For lunch and dinner they made fresh salads with all kinds of vegetables. The side dishes were couscous, all kinds of rice, pasta and potatoes. Sweets are not a feature of the hotel, once in 8 days there were oriental sweets for dinner, the rest of the time biscuits with an incomprehensible cream (we tried it once and didn’t want to anymore).
The management of the hotel is marvelous, during the settlement they emphasized that my husband's birthday is the next day, the travel agent wrote about this in a letter to the hotel when buying a tour and again on the birthday itself. In the DR, we signed up in an Italian restaurant, noted well (there is nothing special about the food), two birthday people congratulated us with songs to national instruments and small cakes, no one congratulated my husband... it was very unpleasant. The next day, the travel agent clarified whether the husband was congratulated at the hotel? I found out that I was not congratulated, was very disappointed and wrote another angry letter to the hotel to apologize to the guest. But no one ever apologized... very selective attention and, probably, for money.
The hotel at the beginning of our holiday was 10% Europeans (Serbs, some Germans and Italians), 10% Ukrainians and Belarusians and 80% Arabs. Day 4 everyone got along peacefully, it was colorful, no one bothered each other. Then the contingent of Arabs changed, the Slavs remained up to 5% and chaos began. The local population was allowed to take food from the restaurant to their room (for the first time I see this in Egypt) and they took it out in huge plates, malnourished people were everywhere: on floors, on sun loungers, parapets, lawns. The elevators became dirty, there were leftovers, gloves, napkins, disposable cups, straws. Poor cleaners did not have time to clean it all. In the main restaurant, there were queues everywhere, Arab women and their children brazenly intermeddle in front of the Slavs and gathered mountains of food. Several families sat at the same table, took away chairs everywhere, set food in three tiers, ate, as if for the last time, what they could not finish eating, put it on plates and took it away with them when they ate it remained a mystery, since the hotel had constant snacks (french fries, burgers, vegetables) and ice cream (on the 5th day of rest, the machine broke down and there was no ice cream).
In the evenings there was the usual entertainment program, first for children, then for adults (belly dancing, Miss and Mr. hotel, tanura (dance of skirts), all kinds of concerts. We did not participate in the animation, the animators on the beach invited to play football, darts, volleyball. Pools a lot for both adults and children. A good water park (for children of all ages and adults. There is a hookah bar on site. The hotel area is beautiful, already decaying in greenery and flowers, there are many palm trees and ornamental trees. Sanitizers hang around the hotel, on bars, in buildings, but unfortunately they are empty, full only in the lobby, sometimes in the restaurant.
The staff is mostly good. The cleaner Mahmut, for small rewards, made masterpieces from towels every day, replenished everything on time, washed the floors, it was clean from the whole hotel only in the room, where we returned with pleasure. Bartenders, cooks at the distribution are mostly smiling, joking, but there were also unpleasant ones. At the distribution of fruit in the evenings there was a nasty full cook, on his shift there were sour melon and watermelon, which he served to the Slavs, he got everything fresh from the lower table to his compatriots. When I tried to explain to him that it was impossible to do this, except for Arabic, he forgot all languages ... On the day of departure, after 12 noon, bracelets are cut off exclusively from men.
If we had not rested in quarantine, given the advantages of the hotel, the rest would have turned out, probably, unforgettable. But given all the negatives, I can not recommend the hotel. This is the first hotel in Egypt, from which they left with pleasure. We will miss the sea, for the beloved staff, but not for the hotel. The management did a good job of destroying the level of the hotel, BRAVO!
After reading the reviews we decided to stay at this hotel. It seems like 5 *, the description suited us, so we decided to go. The three of us rested.
The first thing / who meets us at the hotel is the reception. Smiling staff, who, as it turned out, does not understand either Russian or English normally, but always nods and smiles! We had a Premium room booked, however I asked if they could give us a room with 2 rooms, because we have a baby, a wedding anniversary, etc. Said I would pay. They nodded their heads in response to us, gave us the key and said "Kharoschiy rooms. Good room. Good! ".
We come to the room and... we freeze in shock... a small room with 2 beds and a view of... a construction site!
I return to the reception and demand to change the room, to which I receive an answer: there are no free rooms!
I take out their brains for an hour and, after that, I get a more or less normal room, however, one-room, but with a bed, a sofa and a view of the pool. At that moment, I regretted that I had not immediately booked a room with 2 rooms, however, after an hour I realized that I should not have done this!! ! People who flew with us and arrived at the same hotel booked a room with 2 rooms, but got a 1-room apartment for 4 people. And with 2 small beds! Here's how to sleep a husband, wife, their daughter (20 years old) and son (13 years old)???
Okay, let's continue. . .
Nutrition:
I'm not picky about food, but there was no variety at all. In the morning, uncooked scrambled eggs, vegetable salad, fruits, from which you can eat melon and occasionally dates, as they were also fermented, and disgusting coffee from the machine. What was not eaten for breakfast was crumbled into salads for lunch. I understood this by the fact that one day in the morning there were stale cucumbers that no one took, and then I found the same cucumbers in the salad (apparently the mayonnaise was supposed to hide the smell). Some of the vacationers were poisoned by dates. Alcohol in Egypt is a separate issue, but it seemed to me that the moonshine in the hotel was very vigorous. So we only drank beer at the bar. Speaking of beer: one day they just told me that it was over. At the bar! On the beach! Happy! Beer was poured into plastic glasses and when I asked for 4 glasses at once, they told me that 4 glasses were "not allowed" in one hand.
It should be noted that in the evenings there was a choice of meat and fish. Therefore, most nutrition issues are mainly for breakfast and lunch. Rice was also cooked tasteless, so they ate, basically, only potatoes.
Housekeeping:
It seems like they removed it, but every time it was trash. After cleaning, we found black hair everywhere in the room, although none of us have black hair. We were ALWAYS given only 2 towels for 3 of us. One day we returned from the beach and did not find a garbage bag in the bin in the toilet. Hmm. . . I'll have to throw paper down the toilet. . . but then I realized why they didn't put the bag in - because they didn't put toilet paper in either. I had to run around the hotel looking for room-service in order to take paper and a towel. Sometimes they did not put a towel for the feet. Also, we did not add water, coffee, cream and sugar to the minibar. Every time I had to go to them and take what was missing. Tipping for cleaning the room did not affect the quality in any way, the result was always the same.
Also in the room was pleased with the function of the "door peephole". Of course, we are used to the fact that with the help of a peephole we can see from the inside who is behind the door. But, since there was an advanced system, it also worked in the opposite direction: that is, from the corridor you could easily see what was happening in the room.
Regarding the cleanliness in the hotel itself (corridors, beach, pool, hotel territory), I will also say that it is dirty everywhere! There are plastic glasses in the pool, cigarette butts are lying around in the corridors, which were not removed during the whole week while we were resting, they probably did too))), on the beach srach, though on the beach they often went to collect garbage from bins, but they didn’t bother to clean the beach itself, they crawled over the sand with some kind of pipe, but this was only to level it, it did not carry any cleansing purpose.
Main restaurant:
I want to describe the situation separately: they came, sat down at a free table and... I immediately stuck to the chair. Because it had jam on it. The table is also sticky and dirty. They cleaned the tables like this: they swept away the garbage with a dry (! ) napkin and simply “wiped it”. Awesome cleaning and this during a pandemic, when you need to pay special attention to disinfection. There were many locals during our stay. Their behavior in the dining room was often disgusting. Example: 5-10 vacationers came, occupied 2 tables, gathered a bunch of food, put a small child in shoes on the table and just stuffed pasta into his mouth with his hands, naturally, something falls out on the table and on the floor, but others children don't get lost, pick it up and eat it. Just beautiful! The dirt was regardless of the time of the meal, even coming to 7 am for breakfast - dirty and sticky chairs and tables. Salt and spoons were in separate demand, which you will not find during the day with fire, you had to go through a difficult quest in order to get what you wanted.
As with most hotels, bare-chested and swimwear are not allowed in the restaurant. A Ukrainian boy with his grandmother, who came to the restaurant, was reminded of this and sent them to put on a T-shirt. But after 5 minutes a crowd of Arab children came barefoot, in swimming trunks and bathing suits - no one said a word to them. Discrimination?
Beach:
The beds are old and tired. The paint has peeled off the metal frames, the mattresses are 3 times less than the sunbeds. The hotel says that the sandy entrance to the sea. This is true only at high tide and only a couple of meters. Next come the rocks, which are covered with silt, so you have a chance to break your legs once or twice. At low tide, entry into the sea is very difficult without shoes (corals). There is no pontoon - it is flooded. But there are a lot of fish near it (you need to swim there to see). It is also worth considering that at low tide, sea urchins hide in the stones next to you and from 5 pm stingrays begin to swim to the shore.
A la carte restaurants:
The Mexican restaurant had delicious food, we liked everything and, as it turned out, we were lucky because we came first. The people who came later waited for the order for more than an hour. But in the Italian restaurant a surprise awaited us: we came, saw only 2 occupied tables and some crowd (15 people) near the restaurant, we went to the counter, called the room number and... it turned out that we were not recorded. As well as those 15 people that were waiting near the restaurant. They just didn't let us in! Went for the manager at the reception, brought him to the restaurant. He argued for a very long time with the restaurant manager using the phrases "Fu. . k you! " and, only after 45 minutes we were seated at the table. The food was so-so, nothing special.
Animation:
I can’t say anything bad or good, because I entertained myself. A couple of times they took the child to the mini disco. We didn’t see anything new, everything was standard, the only thing that can be noted was that competitions were held at the end of the disco and the winners were given some pictures, probably for coloring. The kids club was closed during our stay.
Aquapark:
If you did not have time to take a sunbed in the morning, then later it will be impossible. Crowds of Arabs splash around there all the time the pool and slides are open, while occupying 4-5 sunbeds, on which only things lie or one woman rests. During our vacation, one slide, the most interesting, was closed. As for the rest of the slides, I can say that our 6-year-old daughter rode calmly, there is nothing supernatural, but for a change you can go a couple of times. There are also slides for toddlers and older children, which are located separately. The water park is great for older kids. Also, the child liked the pool with an artificial current.
General impression:
If you are standing, talking with someone from the staff and an Arab comes up, they immediately forget about you and run to fulfill his request. If the staff does not understand you, they just nod their head and smile, instead of asking to explain what I said in some other way. Or they just ignore you. To be honest, not all the staff, but 99%. There was a bartender at the bar in the lobby who was always helpful and helpful. But most just ignore you and show that you are disgusting to them.
Also, on the way from the hotel to the airport, the guide with a joyful face asked: "did you like the hotel? ". To which everyone on the bus unanimously replied: "NO!!! "
Output:
If you are not an Arab, then you should not visit this hotel! People who have been in it have repeatedly said that it used to be a great hotel, but after the owner changed here, the hotel became just terrible. At the moment the hotel does not correspond to its 5 *. Wrote a review to warn other Slavs from visiting this place.
Separately, I want to say about the food, the cooks are smart, the dishes are varied and sooooo tasty (my husband is very picky about their food, and even he liked it! ). Veal, chicken, turkey, fish (tuna), were twice grilled seafood. The only negative is drinks, diluted juices, I won’t even talk about alcohol, it seems to me that it is the same everywhere in Egypt. On March 8, all the chefs of the hotel arranged a surprise on the beach, meat on skewers, strawberries in chocolate, snacks. The restaurant is decorated with candles. The entire staff is very friendly and not intrusive. Everyone is smiling and ready to help at any moment.
Very satisfied with the rest, with pleasure I will recommend to friends and come again!
We arrived at the hotel in the morning (before the check-in time), the friendly staff took the luggage and asked to wait at the reception, offered drinks and after 20 minutes were invited to check-in. We were given a nice family room.
I’ll start with it: a spacious, bright, fairly clean room, it’s clear that the furniture and plumbing are a little old, but everything is in order and performs its functions 100%, bed linen and towels are always clean, changed every day.
After checking in, we went for lunch, the food was not very varied, but quite tasty. fish, meat, several types of side dishes, fresh vegetables and fruits, several varieties of sweets, very tasty - well done!
Drinks: local alcohol, for an amateur, all with a specific taste, they took white wine - it turned out to be normal; coffee is not very instant, and in the restaurant there is a large barrel of coffee that doesn’t even look like it - painted over water.
For $1 you can buy good brewed coffee at the bar.
The hotel area is green, clean, the beach is large, gently sloping entrance to the sea.
Excellent animation, they will not let you get bored, especially for children, various entertainments for every taste!
Quite satisfied with the rest! I recommend.
