There are no complaints about the hotel, everything is clean. But the dining room is PI....! . It's a complete mess! Nothing has changed, they complained last year, but this year, in my opinion, is even worse. The so-called buffet - otherwise called "who had time, he ate. " What they give there is impossible to eat, but what else could be eaten was not enough for everyone. Every morning scrambled eggs, unleavened pancakes, "rubber" pancakes. There is no meat! Sausages, which are very quickly tired, "bread" cutlets, "fatty" fish, and chicken are all bones - and in very small pieces! I also note the lack of crockery and cutlery. And everything would be fine - but this is every day.
But the biggest negative is the BEACH. The beach is small, there are a lot of people (even a lot). Beach security let people in for money, by the way, there are sunbeds on the beach - 20 UAH. This is despite the fact that the hotel website says - "Sunbeds on the beach and by the pool - FREE"! We went to the beach on the first bus flight and the beach was already packed. We called management, but the situation did not change. The only good thing was the pool. Unlike the beach, there are always not many people there, sunbeds are really free.
In general, I do not advise you to go there if your nerves are dear to you.
But the biggest problem of recreation in the Crimea is unkemptness, garbage in the cities. On the sides of Alushta, there is rubbish, foliage, neglected plants, dry branches, rags on them, a stinky river. The same is true in Yalta. You ride the cable car - in front of you is the incredible beauty of the seascape - you lower your eyes down - rusty barrels, wires, construction debris. There is a political struggle going on, you turn on the TV - there are so many parties, promises, and the simplest and cheapest thing, there is no one to pick up a broom. Sweep Crimea!
There are no complaints about the hotel itself. Room (ordinary double) - a solid three stars, cleaning, towels, air conditioning, refrigerator - everything is fine. Territory, building - everything is excellent. The horror begins when you are going to go out to eat or go to the beach.
The buffet selection is to die for. If you're lucky, they will bring out chopped cucumbers and tomatoes, ordinary mashed potatoes or buckwheat for dinner. But mostly I had to choose from several mayonnaise salads and a bunch of fried very salty and peppery dishes. For those who watch their diet, there is practically nothing to do there. By the way, on the fourth day I was poisoned by some kind of potato with a strange gravy (peppered-peppered). I went to the doctor the next morning in the same boarding house and for free, they treated me carefully. Dessert is a different story altogether. Milipizdricheskie buns and biscuits cut into tiny pieces, shortbread cookies - this was very little and not enough for everyone. For breakfast - pancakes and pancakes of dubious freshness. Didn't even find oatmeal on the water. I was pleased at least with the presence of yogurt and kefir (but this was not enough for everyone).
Next up is the beach. The beach is a forty minute walk or ten minutes by bus (they run on schedule, no complaints, but people are packed). It's possible to get there, but it's not worth it. The beach simply does not adequately accommodate so many people. Everyone sits on each other's heads, places need to be taken, it seems that before breakfast. If you are unlucky and arrive with the last batch of people, you will have to sit right by the smoking room with a toilet. There are sheds, but, again, the places under them are occupied by the earliest ones. Walking along the beach without shoes is problematic because of the pebbles. There are no sun loungers. Left-wing people are also allowed in for money (although they won’t fit their own anywhere! ).
An alternative to the beach is the pool, which pleased me the most during my vacation. Clean, shallow, sun loungers, umbrellas, few people, there is enough space for everyone.
As a bonus to everything - a strange stench throughout the boarding house from the street every other day and the insane hum of the air conditioner from the room below ours, which did not let us sleep (at the reception they treated this with understanding and offered to move to one of the neighboring rooms without any problems). In general, there are no complaints about the staff. Both the reception and the maids are pleasant in communication, they will always help.
But we won't go back for anything.
Buffet for 4. Delicious, except when potatoes were served, warmed several times. The boarding house has its own beach, very clean. I didn’t like the fact that the last bus leaves the beach at 17.00, I would like to swim longer, but we arrived at the sea . . It was possible to stay longer on the beach, but then we would not have time for dinner - this is another minus (we had dinner early: 1st shift from 17.00 to 18.00, 2nd shift from 18.00 to 19.00 By the way, another disadvantage was that vacationers who did not live in Magnolia were allowed to go to the beach for money, because of this they had to come on the first bus and, headlong, occupy themselves I would like the administration to decide on the issuance of dry rations in case of excursions. But what else I liked: the staff at the boarding house is very friendly, polite.
The food section is very frustrating (after all, we are on vacation, and not in pursuit of a piece of bread) the canteen cannot cope and therefore our citizens line up even before breakfast or dinner starts and God forbid you oversleep, tea and coffee and cups will end etc. Since last year, the canteen has changed, only the fact that the waiters were recruited by guys, but this did not affect the result of the service. The time for eating is allotted 30 minutes per shift, which also forces people to rush and push their elbows...
Export to the beach also leaves much to be desired, the same queues and crush on the bus, since the beach is small and not well-maintained. They take out to the beach on several flights, and there are half as many flights from the beach, and the bus can get full and leave ahead of time, which happened to us, the next one has to wait exactly an hour, but in the very sun, when the majority of people want to leave the beach, you can make two walks... So with a small child in our arms, we had to walk and stop other passing vehicles... The only joy is the pool, which eliminates trips to the sea and brings joy to children more than the sea.
Entertainment on the territory is also all paid, if children want to play badminton or ping pong - pay...
In general, if you do not eat on a ticket, but for your hard-earned money, you need to be prepared for the fact that the PRICE is much higher than the service. Or go there out of season, when the hotel is not full. . .
