The hotel staff is friendly. Possible early check-in (upon arrival for an additional fee ($ 20) we were settled in the main building, in a room overlooking the garden, already at 10 am). The room is large, bright and comfortable. The condition is good, there are shortcomings that are eliminated after contacting the hotel managers. Cleaning and change of linen was done every day. Tipped the cleaner $1.
The hotel has three restaurants and a bar. The food is varied enough. You can dine at a restaurant on the beach.
The beach is large, sandy, fairly clean, enough sunbeds, new covers.
The sea on the beach is shallow, you can swim only at high tide or from the pier, where you can admire the fish and corals. Masks can be rented. The pier is located on the beach within walking distance.
On the territory there is a clinic, a mini water park, a spa, shops and an ATM where you can exchange currency. (Please note - $ accepted from 1996 release).
In general, a pleasant budget 5-star family-friendly hotel, if you come to relax and not look for flaws. During our vacation (beginning of December) the weather was good: 23-27 degrees, the wind was only one day, the hotel occupancy was up to 50%.
Special thanks to Sergey and Oksana for the great organization and support of our holiday at all stages. We are AMAZED and grateful! ! !
NUMBER: We approached the reception three times - and we were assured that they would bring it now. Tired after the flight, the three of them still spent the night on the same bed in a dirty room. The bathroom has fungus, dirty mirrors and a glass partition to the bath, which was held in place. The hair dryer is wrapped with scotch tape, as well as the upper bullet insulation insulation; the shower funnel was broken, there were only 2 towels for the body and 1 for the feet.
The next day we asked for another number - got a little better, but also shabby. We managed to agree on a cot for the child with the cleaner.
In order to clean, wash the floor, give water, clean the bathroom, change towels had to ask and remind every time. KITCHEN: monotonous food, poorly roasted pastries, raw potatoes, undercooked pancakes, only pangasius fish.
Feel free to reuse those that have not been eaten before. They ate as they should, but without pleasure.
THE AREA is large, well-landscaped, but the cobblestones are broken, the buildings need cosmetic repairs, not all pools are working, the promised heated pool was not found at all (the child did not want to swim in cold water). Particularly disappointing is the fact that beach towels are on the cards and you can change them only once a day, if you want to go to sea 2 times - you have to carry them. THE SEA is a big plus, because there is an event on the sand for children and on the pontoon where the water overlooks a very beautiful reef and 25 m deep.
We arrived at 06 in the morning at the hotel, after 14 they took us to look at the rooms... and there was a real star!! ! Entrance door with a broken door lock + not working, dirty refrigerator, not working TV remote control, sagging, dirty furniture... and finally, dirty, not replaced bed linen with traces of a stormy night!! ! And so that you understand there were 4 such numbers, along which we were dragged with a scandal !! ! Until they called the manager and started yelling that we'll post the video of all the numbers on YouTube so that people can see where they get to. . . !
Further: except for the canteen where they serve breakfast / lunch / dinner... there are no food courts with snacks! That is, if you went on a tour, went shopping to skimp and missed breakfast or lunch, then be prepared to walk until dinner!
Further, there is no sea as such! ! For 7 days of stay in the month of October, they did not buy even once !! ! The pontoon is about 400 m and is always closed (red flag) you won’t go from the shore (there are corals and low tides up to 400 m, that is, there is stupidly no water... ) the location of the hotel is very windy even in October it was not possible to be on the beach just demolished... on the territory and in the hotel itself, everything is very old, dirty! I have never seen such an honest word anywhere that in the toilet (of the main building) there were broken door handles, there was no paper, dry hand towels and soap! And everywhere sheer dirt and stench!
In general, if you have a limited budget, my advice to you from the bottom of my heart: do not waste your money (thinking that such a hotel is better than none) it's just a nightmare in every way! You will feel at the end that the money is simply thrown to the wind... people write everything correctly in the reviews, that in fact there are no 2 stars there!
the rooms are the only clean place in the hotel. well and that, decent cleaning to us was provided at the expense of the dollars left on a bed. there are few sockets in the rooms, only one free and two occupied by a TV and a refrigerator. the beds are soft, the beds are clean, the towels are snow-white, it pleased.
There are two restaurants here, there are no differences between them by choice. There is a lot of food, enough for everyone, but the food is monotonous, only the serving of dishes changes. several garnish options, always breaded fish, two/three types of meat, desserts, pastries, about 10 types of salads, vegetables and fruits. drinks are poured for every taste, only wine is missing. breakfast is always scrambled eggs and pancakes, feta, vegetables, fruits, croissants, yoghurts and cereals.
the beach is clean, there is no debris in the sand, except, again, for the winds. he spreads small debris instantly all over the beach, the guys on the beach are watching this. sun loungers, of course, lined. but the towels are clean, decent looking. the beach sucks, I say right away. for children it may be amiss, the entry is shallow and sometimes with sand. you can, perhaps, help your ass. the pier is long and with steps, the depth is 30 meters. The bottom is not visible and the open sea is immediately, from which there are strong waves and, accordingly, winds. if the day is calm, without strong gusts, the beach is still closed. the boy who works as a lifeguard for work does not appear to be in much of a hurry. comes and hangs a yellow flag only in the afternoon at 2-3 o'clock. until that time, do what you want, but do not go into the water. pools are just like paddling pools. filled with people after 11 am, you can't swim normally. There are 3 pools here. One is the main one and two are scattered around other buildings. and there is a water park. bring back two slides. cups and leaves from trees float in the pools all the time. the staff allegedly cleans something, but the pools still do not shine with cleanliness.
there are a lot of families with children here, who love a relaxing holiday, obviously not here, and even with such conditions, I don’t advise you to go with children either. everywhere except the beach is loud and not comfortable. Arabs are just darkness. they create the greatest discomfort. because, they are not well-mannered, uncultured and huge pigs. wherever there are Arabs, there is always a pile of rubbish left. in a restaurant, children are put on the table, they are scattered with cutlery and food. everything on the bar is always filled with sticky juices. on the beach, in general, a separate story, people have not heard about the existence of garbage cans at all.
the staff is the same as the Arab guests. two days they called the reception to fix the safe for us, the master did not wait. I hooked it myself and took it to the room myself to set up this damn safe. the boy on the beach did not understand why he took our towels when we left for lunch. they were looking for the whole hotel, looking through the cameras, and everything was done under duress. half do not speak, neither in Russian nor in English. so you have to explain on your fingers and even so nothing is clear.
there is free wi-fi in the lobby, while there are no people, you can safely call, scroll through social networks, the lobby is full and the connection is lame. There is a paid one, allegedly throughout the territory.
in general, they are not completely satisfied with the rest, there are many things that overshadow it. I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. even for budget travelers. it is better to choose hotels on the second / third line of three / four stars than this pseudo five.
2) with regards to cleaning the room is generally a different story.
• Bed linen was not cleaned at all. As there was a stain on our bed from the first day on the duvet cover, so we lived for 7 days with this stain.
• I knocked out the toilet paper on the third day and then I went up and took it insolently to their cart while they were cleaning the rooms. I came to the reception several times and said to bring toilet paper, but in the end no one brought it. I don't think I would have expected it at all.
• Towels were changed with us: every three days. And then on the third day I was literally bombed. Tired of walking, so I called and said to bring a new towel now. Because from my old towel they decided to make a heart for us on the bed. But they probably did not take into account that when I wiped my face, there was a foundation left.
• we took food from the city to take away. Brought to the hotel: ate. I beautifully folded the container on the table so that I could follow it. The morning was thrown out by the maids. But in the end no one took it. And no one wiped the stain on the table from the container for 7 days. I kept waiting for it to be removed.
• Curtains with stains, Old furniture. On the last day we even washed the floor. I even freaked out
3) impudent local Arabs who rest there. They fill the territory of the hotel 80%. They everywhere . I felt uncomfortable. When I went in an open bathing suit. They laughed (women). They filmed me when I was walking somewhere or just sunbathing lying down. They themselves bathe in clothes, probably I should have bathed like that.
When the buffet table, they climb without a queue. They impose food themselves (while raking out only one meat).
4) The food in this hotel is monotonous. There is nothing interesting. (Pasta, fish in tempura, in the morning: eggs and pancakes. The juice is diluted with water there. And in general, a lot of soda is strange. This soda reminds you, like a pop tablet when you throw it into the water.
4) Sea. It's a long walk to the pier. And there immediately depth and reefs (stones). You can hit this stone with your foot from the wave. Swimming is not allowed until 11-12. Because big waves. And at 18.00 they close the sea. You have to swim under the scorching sun in the afternoon. I will attach a photo of the coast, it looks like a dried-up sea.
5) The pool with slides is not interesting there. There are few beds. 2 slides work. From one hill when I flew, I felt every seam with my back
And the second pool is closer to the sea. Arabs litter with plastic cups, straws and there were a couple of cigarette butts. Where is the pool cleaned? They also put rubbish in this hole.
6) air conditioners do not work well. The air conditioner is only enough for 1 day. Then every day they complained that the air conditioner did not work. Fortunately, they did not ignore us with this, but did it. Thank you for that, we didn't suffocate at night. Because they are very hot at night.
7) They water their plants with smelly water. Purify this water from the toilet and shower (the shower was not cleaned at all). Smells awful in the evenings.
8) Animators are boring. During the day they usually have darts. And in the evening, either guess the melody, or go to the disco for 5-15 dollars. At the disco that one free cocktail is free.
9) and my recommendation is not to take excursions from the guys who offer their services near the restaurant. They rent a place there. Not only are the prices too high, but they don't do a good job. We wanted to go skydiving. They said at 4:00 pm. We ended up waiting 40 minutes. They took their money. But they took 5 dollars (like a taxi, for taking us).
Vacation was ruined. But we tried not to lose heart. Don't go to this hotel for any money. It's hard to put even 3 stars for this hotel.
We arrived at 4 o'clock in the morning, immediately issued papers to fill in at the reception. The issued document indicated room 1324, however, when checking in, the body at the reception simply corrected the number to 3124 with a pen, sending us to building 3, but more on that later.
We waited 10 hours for check-in. . . I offered money for an early check-in, but they told me that there were no available rooms, although there were plenty of them. I was also told that our room is now being prepared and cleaned, so it's worth the wait. Why is there no early check-in service at the hotel? For me, a mystery, swine attitude towards guests.
The bracelets were put on for us right after breakfast, probably so that we would not overeat anyone. They didn’t even offer water, they went to the city for it. They settled us at 13:40 and then it started... Arriving in this room, which, by the way, was prepared and cleaned from the very morning, we found a flood, dirt, a bunch of hair, chips and ashes on the floor, the bed was made, but not was clean, the curtains were really dirty. . . There were towels on the floor in the bathroom, the garbage was not taken out. . . In short, we were given the room immediately after the guests had left without even removing it!! ! Angry like a dog, I ran to the reception and quarreled with us, they changed the room to a room in the same building but in a more or less decent condition. Anyway, it was removed.
They also offered to change the room to a "good" one for $10 a day)) after spending 10 hours completely ignoring my requests for settlement, I just sent this Muhamed to hell.
The third building, in which those who do not want to pay extra are accommodated, is located approximately in the very ass. You will have to walk 15 minutes to the beach, if not in a hurry. There is no beach, you can only swim from the pier, and then, if you don’t know how to swim, then only in the pool, because it’s deep there literally right away.
Food... You will not be hungry, but there is no variety, every day is the same. Braised beef, fried fish and chicken. The potatoes are all semi-raw, pasta, rice, vegetables. . . Poor choice. Fruits - melon and dates. There is almost no sweet, only biscuit cakes of 2-3 types. But again, you won't go hungry. There are two canteens, but the second floor is shared, on the first floor only for visitors. If you are not satisfied with the society of local natives - go to the first floor, they are not there. On the second floor, a real trash is going on, thanks to the locals. . .
There is almost no animation in the hotel. There are animators, but there is no animation, very sluggish. It all comes down to an invitation to discos with a payment of $ 7-15
The territory is dirty, the floors are sticky, the toilets are not cleaned, there is no paper. . .
The rooms are also cleaned on a blunder and not every day. During the week of stay, the bed was not changed even once, towels were replaced once. Beach towels are issued near the pool in exchange for cards that you are given upon check-in, you can change them daily after 17:00.
2 bottles of water are delivered to your room daily.
The impression of the hotel is the most negative, 100% we will not go here a second time.
Early check-in does not exist in principle - they offered $ 20, they did not take it. We sat for 7 hours in a stuffy and hot hall, where the Arabs constantly smoked. The bracelet is hung up after 11:00, be prepared to go into the heat in the city and get your own food and water. Do not buy Wi-Fi in any case - they spent $ 45 for three, and the Internet lasted 10 minutes and disappeared. With a fight they knocked out the money back and bought local sim cards. While you wait to check in, your suitcases are roasted under the scorching sun to such an extent that it is impossible to open the lock until the metal in the room has cooled down. The food is normal, it is always possible to choose something, for Slavic stomachs the choice is not very large, but quite tolerable. Drinks are a problem. It is clear that local alcohol can hardly be called alcohol, only beer is not bad. Fanta, sprite and cola are diluted, but that's it. Juices are terrible. But the worst thing is ice that is frozen from tap water, and it stinks terribly of chemistry and some kind of melted plastic, so it’s simply impossible to drink any of the drinks (except water and beer), only in the mornings it was normal as long as there is ice from normal water .
The beach is dull, to the pier go to the end of the beach under the sun, and then through the entire pontoon (320 meters). The bay is windy, we managed to swim only once before lunch, the rest of the time the red flag hung and the rescuers did not let us in. After lunch, we always swam from 16 to 18, then the sun sets and everyone is asked to get out of the water (a strong current begins). The reef is almost dead, there are few fish, but overall not bad. Heaps of tourists trample on corals, killing the already not very lively reef. A little sailing towards Rixos, we saw a stingray, a barracuda, a huge Napoleon, a moray eel. The big minus of the hotel is a huge number of Arabs. Women constantly look at you like you are trash, men devour you with their eyes, children squeal, roll tantrums, trample on you, push and this is normal here. And they also leave behind just a garbage dump, it looks disgusting, in the evening you go and either constantly kick empty cups, or stick your slippers to some kind of sticky, half-dried liquid. Arabic music is constantly playing, which is already on the third day, a separate story is Arabic rap (you just need to hear it : )).
100% we will not go here again, but to call the rest terrible all the same, the language does not turn - the sea, mountains, palm trees and the feeling of "doing nothing" will not spoil any Arab)))
With the settlement they also have a big problem! We were brought from the airport at 5 am. They wear bracelets for everyone from 10.00 so that they don’t get to breakfast, but they don’t wear bracelets for children at all and they said that the children can go to eat on their own... for a fee starting from 5 dollars. for 1 bracelet they will put it on you earlier - it's not worth it! They immediately settle in the third building - it is in the very same... not located from everything, the most athletic people with children or people of the age will not be able to reach the sea at all - to go for 15 minutes and even in 40-degree heat...
In these rooms, everything is dead, and generally looks dumb... for an additional fee of 5-10 dollars for 1 day, they settle in the first or second building, near the sea and restaurants and pools, these rooms look better, but everything is also not works. . . hair dryer 1 min and turns off due to overheating, refrigerator does not cool, hot water is a maximum of 37 degrees, in the sea at low tide the water is even hot. . . You leave an application at the reception, they say 20 minutes and they will come, and in total day no one comes and does not repair...
The grub (this is not food) is terrible, the choice is very small... rice, pasta, spaghetti with and without sauce, stewed and overcooked potatoes in olias (not french fries), delicious chicken is one salvation, and even for 2-3 fish is not very annoying , beef - rubber, vegetables are all weathered, fruits - unripe melon, sour orange, dates. And the worst thing is that you put everything on yourself (I love it when a waiter stands and puts you a portion, while he doesn’t rummage somewhere in the bottom of the pan and doesn’t look for gold where there is none)... but how do people love? Sort out bread three hundred times, shift it from place to place, rake up a bunch of mountains of food and not eat the smaller part... it’s sad here with coffee too... pour water with water yourself from a thermos, don’t go that... brew tea in bags . . The local jupi is terrible, the bars have cola, it runs out quickly, I don’t drink much... their beer is normal, and the local alcohol, even that chmurdyak... will spoil any cocktail... coffee from the machine from 10.00, if if you want to pay extra. . .
The territory is green, relatively clean, the bushes are trimmed. All this is poured with some very smelly water, and this smell lasts almost all day... the pools are dirty, disposable glasses, leaves and small debris float...
Sea. There are constant low tides, the sea leaves and there are no puddles and no fish... The pontoon is long, this is not a problem, at the end of the pontoon there is a cliff and a depth of 34 meters, the fish swim - for those who are the first time, it will be cool. But for those who have something to compare with, it will not be interesting at all!
Another minus - VERY many locals.
Conclusions: not for any money in the world you should not go here... just ruin your vacation. And I repeat once again THE HOTEL SHOULD BE CLOSED FOR A COMPLETE RESTORATION!! !
2 restaurants, if you arrive on time you are lucky, then the doors are closed and you stand behind the glass like a monkey and wait for someone to come out to eat. Morning breakfast is the pinnacle of everything. I came at 7.30, the choice is so meager, okay, I put something on the plate, but there are no appliances, it’s not clear what to eat. Having put on slippers, the floor in the restaurant is so sticky that the slippers stuck to the floor from the dirt and we had to go without them. On this, my patience snapped, thanks to the guide join up who agreed to overpower us in a proven hotel, of course, with a surcharge. But 1 day in Amvazh is just a nightmare. I'm just shocked by the good reviews about the hotel, are you people serious?? ? You just probably weren't in the normal 5's. And the prices for holidays in this hotel, I would have paid extra not to get here. It is a pity that people getting into this hotel for the first time think that this is the norm for Egypt. Who gave you the 5th race, 3rd in the best hands. Horror and nightmare, do not buy a ticket to hell for any promotions. Good reviews are bullshit.
