The hotel is disgusting, I was lucky with my neighbors! The staff is terrible. Food in general! You can't beg for alcohol! There is a guy there who sells money in the store, I gave him $100, he said I have no change, I’ll give it back tomorrow. The next day I gave half of it, in pounds, when I wanted to take the rest of the money, he said that he had already given it to me yesterday! Conned me out of £.

I felt very offended because I was deceived so harshly and made a fool out of me! I had no time to figure it out, because the transfer was waiting to take me to the airport, I never took the money from him! It was the most offensive thing, I left this hotel with tears of resentment!

This hotel is full of terrible reviews, and without photos, so I decided to take a chance and go and check it out myself. I really wanted to try both in winter in Naama Bay without large investments in fives. I looked at the video reports, mostly uninformative and uninteresting, but made a few conclusions.

This hotel is full of terrible reviews, and without photos, so I decided to take a chance and go and check it out myself. I really wanted to try both in winter in Naama Bay without large investments in fives.
I looked at the video reports, mostly uninformative and uninteresting, but made a few conclusions. First, the hotel is small. The second is a hotel on a rock and you will need to move the rolls in order to go down to Naama Bay in a short way along the stairs (well, and especially go up). By the way, the presence of the Naama Bay promenade nearby was the third important point. The place turned out to be very good.
The views from the hotel to the sea, Tiran Island and Naama Bay are magnificent. This distinguishes Halomi from other hotels in the area. And people from other hotels in the bay repeatedly tried to enter our beach. Some succeeded and they said that we have more interesting and beautiful views, more fish and corals.
BEACH. Well, since I started from the beach, I will continue. It has terraces, like many charm hotels. Without palm trees, true desert. The path is not very comfortable, made of crooked stones and not very picturesque. Although because of the rock heaps, you can see the sea with yachts, but it is better to look under your feet. Although there are benches, you can sit and relax at the top of the path. Further steeper and crooked steps.
There are no amenities on the beach. The toilet is upstairs near the restaurant and a small supermarket. The female one, of course, does not close and the water almost does not flow in it (constant congestion, so I used the male one). Next to the bar opposite, there is also a toilet, but it is almost always closed.
Shower (in the form of oak without branches) is also only near the pool and another one on the second terrace of the beach. And the ladder between the second and third terraces by the sea is the steepest. Running back and forth is uncomfortable. By the way, you can't run to the bar. Although, the beer at the pool bar is only paid, and the bar by the pier has water. In general, for people with disabilities, the elderly and children will be uncomfortable. The beach is always full during the day (as it turned out, people from other beaches too), but I took places before breakfast and did not know any problems. The beds are tired and a lot of broken ones, but I occupied the whole and a place overlooking the bay. It was wonderful to eat strawberries and look at Naama and the sea.
The pier is short. Quite comfortable overall. I was able to put on fins while sitting on the stairs. The sea at the pier is shallow and you can get out of the sea with amenities. Although, one dude jumped from the pier and did not calculate that there were low tides, that the bottom was not far away and coral was nearby, then he walked with his head bandaged.
Coral slippers are a must. Although tourists have trampled on the coral near the pier, it is dead but still sharp. There were many people with cuts. The children did not even want to go into the sea after the injuries. From the conversations, I realized that the upset parents were going to go to the paid sandy beaches of Naama Bay so that the children could swim in the sea without injury. In general, going down to the sea in Halomi is for healthy snorkelers, not for children. Grandparents will also be uncomfortable and hard. And the pool is windy and cold, so I don’t understand what to do with it.
The sea is great here. Since it is not deep, the water is warm and many fish are basking here and are not even shy and do not swim away like in other hotels, they can be well considered. Koralchik for a C grade with a plus, but there are a lot of fish. Most of all Arabian surgeons. There are fewer Abudevduffs, a lot of schooling fish, a lot of parrots, scars, triggerfish, butterflies, angels and other things. A teneura lima stingray sailed, saw a young Napoleon and a moray eel. People showed a video with a large eagle ray. In general, I am satisfied, the only sad thing is that I did not take an underwater camera. I swam with a mask to the point of complete exhaustion.
RESTAURANT. They write that it is scarce, but you will not die of hunger. I can only confirm this. I took photos of the food to understand what the menu is in Halomi. Meat and fish are given in really small portions. Cabbage salads, which are very thickly cut, and there is no dressing. Separately, tomatoes and cucumbers are not served (they are in salads). For me personally, it was a big disappointment that there was no grated carrot, which is very good for tanning. Then, I found chopped carrots in stewed vegetables, and that was the way out. Breakfast was fried scrambled eggs and pancakes. Only this way: no fried eggs, no boiled eggs, no additions to the omelet. Everything is modest. And long queues for scrambled eggs and pancakes. People came to breakfast at ten minutes to seven. To get in line faster. By the way, we had a late check-out, but no one bothered us to have lunch (the bracelets were not cut off), although we missed our lunch on the first day... well, in general, we did not go hungry.
Well, I don’t know what you eat for breakfast, but I was quite happy with what they offered: scrambled eggs, salad, puree (or porridge), pancake with honey, cottage cheese (like feta), cheese, chopped sausages, eggplant. For lunch there was also soup, or rather broth with something. I liked drinking it from glasses. So came up with tourists when there were not enough tureens. Very comfortably. In general, they didn’t really starve (as I had in one top five). Look at the photos and you will understand that the food is there.
In general, there are a lot of restaurants near Naama Bay, you can always break away and overeat, and you will also be wrapped up with you.
WATER. Yes, you can collect in the dining room in a bottle. The hotel does not provide bottles. This is not convenient for me, and the water in the restaurant was not tasty. There is a supermarket next to the restaurant and large bottles and bottles of water are sold for modest money. In extreme cases, downstairs not far from the hotel (behind Marina Sharm) there is a Fix Price store (fixed prices) and there is a lot of everything, including water and other drinks in different containers. Nearby is also a shop with alcohol and other drinks. So everything can be solved, although dragging a can of water up the stairs is not very convenient.
NUMBERS. Well, everyone is different, I rented 4 options for rooms. But they are all equally old. It's a three, not a five. I think you should not throw scandals and tantrums, because the number for which you pay extra will not be better, there will be a glitch. I took the first one that was offered, but checked: that water flowed, the toilet was flushed, the door was closed, the TV and the safe were working. I didn't check the air conditioner this time. Cold winter in Egypt. Everything worked out for me, I just sleep there. I fed the cleaner with chocolates and dollar baths, so there were no problems with towels (changed once, I didn’t change others), there was no toilet paper. As advised, I took construction tape, glued the cord from the lamp so that it would not stagger and it would not turn off. The sockets are bad, both in the room and at the reception, keep this in mind, take batteries to charge just in case. Another life hack is to use a bottle to warm the bed this winter. The British put a heating pad with hot water in their bed, I also made myself a heating pad from a half-liter bottle, poured boiling water from the tap. Yes, I had boiling water, and I'm glad about it, because others are picky that they changed rooms for scanadl and / or surcharge for "better" hot water ended. And there is nothing to swear with the staff and be capricious, they will still “make you” if you are an unpleasant person. Yes, visually the number may be better, but there may be a hidden defect (for example, lack of hot water).
My standard standard 310 did not upset me.
There was a small problem with drying clothes. All hotel guests. A rope is stretched in the bathroom, but for some reason everything did not dry well. Perhaps it was I who stepped and did not open the window in the bathroom. But, I had 4 bathing suits, so I changed them while the others dried. Drying towels on the beach. In principle, it was possible to change the beach towel daily (at the restaurant). Of course, they are all of different colors and of different quality, but they suited me.
By the way, I didn’t notice that the bed in the room was dirty, just old linen, thin and yellowish. Some of them dragged bed linen and towels with them, some of them also heated sheets (this is probably normal this winter), but I got by with what the hotel offered.
I do not have obsessive mental states about the need for sterile cleaning with domestos and other chemicals, I am aware of where I am going and for how much, so I have no complaints about cleanliness. It was even funny that when she caught the cleaner in my room cleaning, he moved the bed to wash it. It would be fine for me just to wipe the floor, including in the bathroom, because I never got used to how to deal with the shower there. Spilled water all the time. The plumbing is a bit old, apparently somewhere it still leaked, but I didn’t pay attention, everything was cleaned dry for me.
The whims complained about their cleaners, who did not show up for several days. And if they did, they would squirt out of the bottle onto the floor and carry the “moisture” with a mop. Their lamentations about how to clean, and how they clean in Egypt (especially in a three-ruble note), caused me bouts of Homeric laughter. I still understand in the top five, but a modest three-ruble note...
And yet, two important things about the room: the hair dryer was and worked. And the safe was in the room for free and worked - it was opened with a key, not a code, I liked that.
Well, what else to tell you? About the bar? Many write that it is paid. This is not true. Rather, not quite so. Tea, coffee, romkola are served free of charge. There is no draft beer, only paid bottled beer. In general, part of the range is free, part is paid. Better of course, bring something tasty with you. Well, it didn't matter to me. In short, there was something, the rest can be bought nearby in Naama.
Animation. Well, it kind of didn’t exist (and that’s good for me). Ali and Dasha, a married couple who came here due to family circumstances. Ali previously worked at the Gafi Hotel and, out of habit, tried to somehow amuse everyone, but no one needs this. He organized music both on the beach and near the restaurant. By the way, I liked his playlist. But, I have my own music - the silence of the sea, I don't need anything. The ball was bought, but it was not possible to assemble a volleyball team. Unfortunately, there was no bocci game, and on the second terrace there is just a place for this game (there are almost no sunbeds). There were a couple of times evening noises, probably a local disco at the bar, but I was not. In reality, she is not needed here, at four in the morning planes are already flying, there is no time to sleep. But, if you need it, Naama Bay is full of entertainment, including Pasha clubs, Little Buddha, Hard Rock Cafe and others, hookah, dance... Everything is nearby and I'm just bastard from it. Evening walks along Naama Bay greatly diversified leisure time in the evenings, and it was also useful for tone.
What to bring (as a tip): binoculars to take in the views. Construction tape or other adhesive tape (and wind the bag and stick something in the room, if necessary). By the way, I didn’t remove the film from the bag, but carefully cut it lengthwise, and then glued everything back with adhesive tape when I left. In Boryspil, wrap a bag for 170 hryvnias, and weigh 20 hryvnias. I don't want to feed the parasites (film and tape will be cheaper). Be sure to take a few bathing suits, and, in general, clothes to change, as it is inconvenient to dry things here (well, only if you are on the 2nd floor). Then grab a drying rope for the balcony. Be sure to take warm pajamas or a warm tracksuit in winter (now such scary, large ones with hoods are just in fashion, the very thing for Egypt in winter). It is really cold in the evening, and sometimes it blows strongly during the day (the hotel is on a rock, it is well blown). Personally, I also took a dutik vest with a hood instead of a jacket (light and not blown). I rode in it under a demi-season jacket so as not to take up space in my suitcase. I sometimes sat in it on the beach or put it on a sweatshirt in the evening. In general, do not relax if you are advised not to take warm clothes to Egypt in winter, do not listen to anyone, take it and you will not regret it. Otherwise you will buy in Egypt. Although they have good cotton, warm thick hoodies are also wonderful. Large towels are also lovely. In general, there are always options to solve some everyday problems. Don't forget the chocolates. You can take coffee with you, since in the restaurant it’s not coffee, but a specific one purchased from them, we don’t really like it (arabica without robusta is not quite what we need). By the way, you can still take a cup for drinks, travel folding with a lid. It is convenient to brew coffee and the bartender pours romkola there without any problems.
Note. If you go to Halomi in the next 2 months, grab some of our food (well, I don’t know, black bread with salk or sausage, sour winter apples or something else) for Dasha’s animator. She is pregnant and misses our food very much. Had I known, they would have brought her something. But there were only apples.
Conclusions. I like it. Will I come a second time? Yes, easily. And even with pleasure. But, if your weight is less than 60 kilograms, I advise you not to go here (and indeed to Egypt) in winter, you will freeze, you will not be able to swim normally. This also applies to children - they will not be comfortable here. And for healthy adults who are in love with the sea and without royal requests, the hotel is quite suitable.
I looked at the video reports, mostly uninformative and uninteresting, but made a few conclusions. First, the hotel is small. The second is a hotel on a rock and you will need to move the rolls in order to go down to Naama Bay in a short way along the stairs (well, and especially go up). Can I recommend this hotel, probably No. We read the reviews and understood that we were going to 3 *. But even for a trio, everything is very sad here. We arrived at five in the morning and were settled at 9, for a surcharge of 10 dollars. The room is terrible, everything is old and dirty. Washed linens, stained towels.

We arrived at five in the morning and were settled at 9, for a surcharge of 10 dollars. The room is terrible, everything is old and dirty. Washed linens, stained towels. Cleaning is what they call taking out the trash and sweeping the floor for a dollar they demand. They call a canteen from the times of the Soviet Union a restaurant. I’m just silent about food... Food is processed several times. Meat is given 50 grams, no more. Oranges, chopped apples, they also give out. There is no free alcohol. Water must be collected in the dining room.
Well, of the pluses, of course, the location of the hotel, amazing views of the city, the proximity of the sea and its cleanliness. Although the beach itself is also in a terrible state. Old umbrellas, few sunbeds. The pier is broken, the boards are tied with tape and a rope. So we draw conclusions. The hotel is suitable for a relaxing holiday without children. There are no animators, slides and other entertainment here. Entrance to the sea from the pier. Bottom in corals. The depth is great. The youth will also be bored. There are no evening discos. The pool is open until 6pm. If you eat for the sake of the sea, love to swim and dive, then you are here. For the rest, I recommend choosing a hotel with a higher star!

SETTLEMENT: arrived somewhere at 22-23 went to eat. They gave me numbers.
NUMBER: Just horror and a nightmare. The shower room is an epic kapets. Rusty water flowed. Everything is very old and tired. I had to make a fuss to get a towel (and that one for one person).
FOOD: There is nothing. Not even a chicken.
LOCATION: easy to walk to the center.
BEACH: cascading, many steps, old sun loungers, old pier. But you can swim. There is nothing for children to do here for them there is nothing but a playground. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO GO HERE WITH CHILDREN!!!
BAR by the pool: you can wait for a bartender from 10 minutes, an hour or more. He is generally all right.
The pool is cold as hell without heating.

The hotel is small, but with very beautiful views of the sea, Naama bay. The views are beautiful at dawn and at any time of the day... It's really very beautiful! The room. . . I paid a little extra and they moved me to a room on the second floor overlooking the sea, the garden and Naama Bay. A room without a balcony, plumbing, like almost everywhere in Sharm, suffers, but there is always warm water, the pressure is weak, there is a rope for drying clothes.

A room without a balcony, plumbing, like almost everywhere in Sharm, suffers, but there is always warm water, the pressure is weak, there is a rope for drying clothes. The food is delicious, everything is local, but adapted to European taste. Not a huge choice, but definitely not poisoned, I'm with a small child and everything is ok. You can take water at the bar or in the dining room with your own bottle, so water is not brought to the room. There is a wonderful shop on site with souvenirs, corals, and water. Also some light snacks.
Location - 10 minutes to Naama Bay on a crawl, with a walking child on the stairs is not a problem! The sea... It's beautiful, a short pontoon, I recommend corals on your feet, the depth is about 3-4 meters, then the depth, the abyss. Fish are a standard set, for divers you need to either swim a little, or another option. By the way, there is Wi-Fi, it does not fly, but you can use it and even get it from your room. Alcohol on the bar, but it is not enough... Fans are better to go with their stock. Cleaning - I was really surprised, without money for chocolates, etc. The room was cleaned very nicely, as in a 5 * supply of towels, toilet paper and soap for at least 3 weeks. I don’t know who cleaned it, but health to his hands!
In general, if you are looking for the positive, you will find it in the sympathetic people who work here! By the way, next to Genena City, entertainment programs in the evenings, shops and an ice rink! There is also a good local trainer. I wish you all a good holiday : -)

The hotel is just terrible. Nutrition is worse than for pigs: vegetables are inedible, meat was 1 time per week, and then they were given 1 piece, it was impossible to eat. The rooms are dead, not everyone has hot water, but at least in this regard we were lucky. The bartender works as a waiter, so the bar is always empty.

The owner walks around the territory and asks if everything is fine, it’s ridiculous. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing that saved it was a beautiful reef and the center of the square, if you go down the stairs.

Usually we do not care about the room, food, we come to the sea. BUT the fact that in this lousy hotel they consider people to be pigs, which you can feed with what people didn’t eat yesterday, pouring all the leftover food from the plates and then serving it like a salad - THIS IS A DIRECTLY FULL FINISH.

BUT the fact that in this lousy hotel they consider people to be pigs, which you can feed with what people didn’t eat yesterday, pouring all the leftover food from the plates and then serving it like a salad - THIS IS A DIRECTLY FULL FINISH. For 2 weeks we never changed the bed. They wash the plastic cups and put them back in. During lunch and dinner, you won’t be able to drink tea or coffee, because the bartender at this time is in the dining room (you can’t call this eatery in another way) as a waiter. Soap, shampoo, toilet paper, along with garbage bags, are simply left on the floor near the room (like: take your trash out yourself). On the day of departure, we had a transfer at 14.20, we thought that we would just have lunch at 13.00 and we would go out with our suitcases, BUT... On the way to the dining room, we were kicked out to the reception with shouts, they said that we had no right to dine and move around on the territory (this despite the fact that they had about 7 rooms in total in the hotel).
BUT THE SEA IS VERY BEAUTIFUL.

A hotel for lovers of the sea and the underwater world. This year already 2 times were in Sharm. But when a very low price for the hotel popped up in December, we decided to book. They sent money to the card, and the price immediately went away. It was possible to pick up, but already hotz at sea! I chose budget hotels and nadybala "Halomi".

Luxurious views of Naama Bay, the first line, a reef nearby near the Stella Di Mare hotel and the opportunity to explore the bay, swim near Movenpick bribed. Naama Bay I bypassed the tenth road. And then I decided to take a risk for a very budgetary money. We flew with our friend Sveta.
I studied all the reviews, videos in advance and was mentally prepared. It turned out not! The first day I had a nervous breakdown and a panic attack. For my first time in Egypt, 18 years ago, I was in 3 * "Zahabiya" in Hurghada. Then there were 4* and 5*. But "Zahabiya" compared to "Halomi" is just a bomb. "Halomi" is trash and the cruelest tin. Everything has been described in previous reviews. There really is nothing, rice and pasta, coleslaw without dressing. I thought I would sit out on puffs - but no! There is only lavash. 2 times in 9 days there was chicken and liver for dinner. Soy sausages and cutlets are not to be eaten, and the rest is in the same vein. Number changed 3 times. We barely got a room with a balcony on the 2nd floor for $5. Asked for $15. We had a boiler and the people on the 1st floor didn't always have hot water. Then I pulled myself together and started to relax.
About good.
Beautiful, cozy, sincere in the territory. Butterflies, dragonflies fly, basil grows and smells sweet. Close to the sea, going down the stairs is not difficult. The beach is small, but there was enough space for everyone. Everyone got to know each other and became friends. In the evening, Naama Bay is within easy reach. They do a good full body massage - $25 for 5 massages. Only often change the massage time, inconvenient.
The most important thing is the sea.
Views of the bay, sunrises - just a fairy tale! The house reef is dead, but there are plenty of large and interesting fish. I saw both moray eels and giant tuna. Very close to the first pontoon of Stella Di Mare. Behind him the reef is livelier. There are many fish, life is seething. Early in the morning at 6.30 I sailed past 2 pontoons and through the pontoon of the military base (we saw the Egyptians there, we didn’t see the Americans). They asked permission from the military on the pontoon, gave the go-ahead for the swim. Further the reef is interesting, there are fewer fish. A healthy barracuda hangs under 1 pontoon at 6.30. I liked the reef and fish, took a bunch of pictures. We went to the bay, go not far. From the beaches sometimes they gank, they want money. We found a place and calmly swam. Even there I took unexpected underwater photos. We reached the end of the bay and I surveyed the Movenpick reef all the way to the corner. Kapets! I was so disappointed! There are very few large fish, the reef is uninteresting, I met a couple of Napoleons, and they sailed away. I liked our reef better.
Outcome. I am satisfied with the rest, because flew over the sea. I do not recommend the hotel to anyone. If you take only accommodation for ridiculous money and eat in Naama, you might think.
Thanks for attention!

A hotel with a beautiful area that just suffers from mismanagement. The beach and the sea are great! But again, they are not well-groomed, the sunbeds are "dead", the stairs-descent into the sea too. The stairs to the beach are in disrepair and instead of railings there is a stretched rope. I generally keep quiet about the kitchen.

The stairs to the beach are in disrepair and instead of railings there is a stretched rope. I generally keep quiet about the kitchen. How can you spoil so much food and cook food for the "pigs". The hotel staff is not always honest with you, they are hypocrites, they smile, but when their compatriots appear in the hotel, the service goes into the "serve your own" phase and we are completely ignored. You can stand in the dining room with a plate in line for a very long time, and they will serve their own, then only you. Who is bolder - swears, but they do not care. They answer: "Go, go, complain. " Rooms - you can't look without tears, dirty, smelly linen, windows do not close, plumbing is rotten.
How can this be in such a beautiful country, in a chic resort! ? Very simple! Stop poking them $20 for a good number and then all the numbers will be good. You teach them to take bribes. You paid for the ticket and demand your respect and respect.
