The hotel was not chosen for a long time! The choice fell on Louis Paphos Breeze not by chance, they wanted to relax in the hotel last year, but it did not work out, and the prices "bite". This time we booked in advance. The holiday was 100% successful.
Flight without problems, transfer from Larnaca airport took 1 hour 50 minutes. Charming girls met at the reception, put on bracelets and sent for lunch. Settled right after dinner. The studio room was on the second floor, clean, all in bright colors, spacious, kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle. Upon arrival in the room a plate of fruit and a bottle of white wine, water.
Cleaning of the room, change of towels daily. All perfectly! The bathroom has soap, shower gel and shampoo dispensers. By the way, near the mirror in the bathroom there is a 220 socket we are used to, and for sockets in the room you can ask for an adapter at the reception.
The hotel area is very cozy, everything is within walking distance: swimming pools, bars, a restaurant, excellent lawns with sun loungers near the sea. And near the pools, and on the lawns there were always enough free sunbeds.
The food at the hotel is excellent, quite varied, everything is fresh and tasty cooked. For breakfast there is porridge, yogurt, omelets, fried eggs, dried fruits and fresh fruits, cheeses, sausages, ham, bacon, fresh and stewed vegetables, pastries, two types of champagne (pink and white) daily. Lunches and dinners are also quite varied, there is soup, and very tasty meat (chicken, pork, beef, duck, turkey), side dishes (rice, potatoes in various variations, vegetables), fish, vegetable and seafood salads, several times there were shrimps, delicious desserts and of course ice cream.
The waiters are very attentive and take orders quickly. For lunch and dinner, you can order any drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, cocktails, white, rose and red wine (several types - dry, semi-dry) bottled. It is very convenient to use the kettle to make tea in the restaurant, rather than carrying cups. The restaurant has a children's table. Between breakfast and lunch, lunch and dinner, you can have a snack at the snack bar.
In the bars, all drinks are of good quality, the bartenders make delicious cocktails, you can always take bottled water. waiters serve not only in bars, but take and bring orders near the pools and on the lawn, carry water. Everyone is very attentive. Well done!
A few words about the construction site to the right of the hotel. They are building apartments, possibly a new hotel. Yes, it continues, but it did not bother us at all. There are temporary fences with mesh and fabric. Perhaps those who have balconies and terraces facing the construction site are noisy and dusty, but the administration always goes to meet and relocate if rooms are available. By the way, we did not notice any discrimination against Russian-speaking tourists. There are Russian speaking staff.
There is no equipped beach, but there are several lagoons to the right and left of the hotel. You can swim, but it's harder to swim. If you go 200 meters to the left, next to the lagoon there is a place with steps and a metal handrail. The bottom is rocky, it will be more convenient in corals. It would be great if the hotel were allowed to ennoble the coastal strip and build a small pontoon, well, at least a tiny one. It is precisely because there is no equipped beach that the score is not 10, but 9.
The weather in October pleased with the mild sun. We extended our summer. We had a great rest.
At the end of the review, I could not help but mention one nuance. This did not spoil the rest, but it caused some bewilderment. At the entrance to the restaurant, the administration announces the minimum observance of the dress code: no beachwear. Unfortunately, this wish is not being met. Beach slates, short shorts for guests look very out of place in a restaurant, as well as wet clothes after swimming and pareos during lunch. I would like managers to pay attention to this. We have repeatedly encountered on vacation how, at the entrance to the restaurant, the manager politely asks to change clothes or change shoes if the guest’s appearance does not correspond to the dress code. Then the restaurant looks like a RESTAURANT, and not a canteen near the beach.
And to the question of whether we will return to the hotel again, I will answer unequivocally YES and with great pleasure.
The hotel area is small, the hotel itself is located far from the city of Paphos and away from the road, to which the hotel is 150-200 meters uphill. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the city center, the fare is 1.5 euros. By bus you can get to the widely advertised sandy city beach (Coral Bay). Drive 15-20 minutes. You can really swim in the sea on this beach. There are a lot of people, the beach itself turned out to be very dirty, littered, there are no changing rooms, the umbrellas are rusty and barely hold on. There is nowhere to wash your feet from the sand - you have to go to a paid shower (1 euro).
The hotel has animation and various entertainments for adults and children almost all day long, all in English and German and accompanied by very loud music. In my opinion this hotel is more suitable for parents with children who do not need the sea.
The linen at the hotel for 15 days was changed only 1 time, the room was cleaned 2 times, the garbage (water bottles, ashtray, etc. ) was taken out every 3-4 days.
On the positive side, I can only note the food - very varied (even for breakfast, unlike many other hotels in different countries), tasty, well organized - no crowds and excitement, everything is always there.
The breakfast menu is the same. For lunch and dinner there was a variety (meat and pork, chicken, delicious potatoes, salads, cakes, ice cream and fruits). As such, there is no beach on the sea. There are a couple of sunbeds. There is a rocky bottom in the sea, it is impossible to enter without shoes. Animation in English. In general, everything is for foreigners.
I bought a ticket to the BIBLIO GLOBE, they deceived me in many ways. + with a flight delay of 14 hours, they did not resolve any issues, they threw them out at the airport and that's it. There we sat on cold chairs. CONCLUSION - WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!
To normally swim in the sea, you need to walk about 7 minutes to the highway and drive another 10 minutes to the public beach, where you still have to pay for sunbeds. The road to the beach and back + 2 sunbeds comes out to about 300 rubles. Excursions are very expensive. It’s more profitable to rent a car and ride by yourself. The general impression is a ruined vacation and money wasted. Importantly, we traveled all this fucking island by car, there’s nothing to see there except for the Kiki Monastery, almost all hotels are bad, except 2-3, but you can’t add up the prices there. NEVER GO TO CYPRUS!!!!! !
