Essentially. We were offered to check into an empty hotel next door (cross the road) Uygulama. They offered to settle for a day with subsequent relocation to Melissa, but we stayed there. The hotel is almost not inhabited, silence, tranquility. In Melissa, near the pool, the “musician” sounded loudly and I didn’t want to listen to it at all from the room overlooking the pool.
We went to Melissa to eat.
About nutrition. Good, economical and uniform. It can be described by the phrase "no frills, but you will not be hungry. "
For breakfast, eggs (scrambled eggs, boiled or scrambled eggs) - ate for life ahead, cheeses, olives, vegetables. Lunch and dinner are more interesting. There were no fish for a week at all. The first one was not eaten, because it is a gruel))). They ate porridge or potatoes and chicken with vegetables. Desserts were, but the same all the time and the same taste. Fruits - apples, green melon, green tangerine. Coffee is instant, tea is strong, tasty. Drank tea)))). Red wine - G, white - tolerable, light beer, normal. In general, food for 4. BUT if you are with a small child, it will be problematic to feed him.
There is no territory as such, there is a pool and tables along it. There is no entertainment for the child except for the children's pool.
There is also a terrace for relaxing with tables at the entrance.
We went to the beach from the hotel once, because we had fun and went on excursions. The beach is far away, walk about 1.5-2 kilometers. On the beach, the Turk is constantly shouting "Cold booze" ...the setting is so-so . . miserable ...
There is access to the beaches of other hotels or the same moonlight in the center, but you will have to pay $ 5 for two sunbeds.
I would like to commend the staff. They try. I see. Even when milk was not provided, I asked and took out the pack at the request. They clean the dining room (you can’t call this place a restaurant), attentive. They settled us at 10 (and not at the legal 14) due to the fact that we were from a night flight and with a child. Thank them.
Of the pluses, the hotel is really in the very center of Kemer. In the evening after dinner, it's nice to walk around, sit by the tower, admire the fountains. To go to any place on the coast is not a question, the stop is nearby.
Conclusion - if you just need a room to eat - sleep, so that it is convenient to get there without small children - you can choose this hotel, but who is looking for a classic package tour with animation - you do not need to go here.
2. Theft. I left my thing somewhere and everyone pretended that no one could find anything. Do this, if you lose something, demand that the cameras look at it (they are very reluctant to do this and play for time, but I didn’t know about it, so I didn’t even demand it). The guy had such a ride and in the morning they returned the thing. They cover the theft of what you left somewhere.
3. The food was normal, there was meat, but not much. Cooked very tasty. Service staff are great. But a person who has been traveling to Turkey for 10 years has already said that this hotel is far from being a four, but a three.
4. There is no entertainment program either in the hotel or on the beach.
Conclusion: if this does not bother you, then go) We liked it, but we won’t go a second time.
- location
- normal food
Minuses:
- the hotel is full and almost everyone during our holiday period was moved to a good hotel, but which is located outside the city
- very small area
- poor wi-fi
In general, if you want to get what you pay for - do not choose Melissa.
Let's start with the fact that the hotel includes two buildings: one is two-story, and the other is a four-story HOSTEL, which is located outside the hotel in 10-15 minutes (this is at a temperature of + 36! ) Walk from the main pool and dining room. Host, regardless of booking , reserves the right to make a decision in which hotel and in which room you will stay. Even if you are lucky and you are settled in the main building, you will not get joy from living. Clogged drains, rotting smell, broken A/C, lack of shampoo are the norm for this hotel. The road on one side, screams, songs and dances until 11 at night from the side of the pool. A muezzin (mosque across the road) screaming from 4 am to 12 am will not add to your comfort.
Second. The beach is shit. And the city, to which you have to walk 20-25 minutes in the sun. And the beach from the hotel, to which twice a day you will be transported like a herring in a barrel, a smelly old bus. Even if upon arrival you do not want to stay on the beach (storm, etc. ), no one will take you back for free. You'll be forced to wait three hours or more if you can't squeeze in the first return flight. You will have to walk along a dirty beach, lie on a dirty sunbed, drink expensive drinks (the cheapest beer is 0.3 l. - $ 3) drinks, try to snatch a free sunbed under a canopy, listen to the screams of the Turks, brutalized by the heat (although I'm not sure if they are Turks. Most likely, the Tajiks are on a part-time job). Even if you decide to leave the beach on foot, good Yandex will clearly show you that you should not do this, since the road under the scorching sun will take you 1 hour and 10 minutes. We didn't risk it.
Third. The last time I went to Turkey was 10 years ago. The unceremonious, impudent, boorish attitude towards Russian tourists forever, as I then thought, killed my desire to relax in this direction. But time erases negative emotions, and I decided to check what has changed since that time... NOTHING! Only now representatives of Pegasus have joined this lawlessness. They did not react to our requests and wishes in any way. The main thing for these Judas was to rip us off as much money as possible for excursions (by the way, excursions outside the hotel cost about 30% cheaper). False, vile, corrupt people. It's a shame not to spoil the holiday. It's a shame that such people create a negative image for the whole country.
Everything seems to be good and I would come here a second time, but there is a very unpleasant moment. When we arrived, we were not settled immediately in a normal room, the young man at the reception immediately began by saying that he would like to help us. It turned out that there were no available rooms and we were offered a day to live in another hotel, while coming to Melissa there, or a small room in Melissa. Chose a small room in Melissa. No. 222. Well, what can I say, well, very small, like a utility room converted into a room. Small window high on the ceiling, small shower room. The whole space is occupied by a large bed, there is a table, a locker in the corner that cannot be used. TV and air conditioning, as in a large room. : ) We lived in this room not for one day, as promised, but for 2 days. Then they moved to a normal spacious room with a balcony (No. 107). Everything was fine there, the only thing was that the shower door did not work, but we did not pay attention to such a trifle. I talked with vacationers and realized that this situation is very typical for this hotel. Three people told me the same thing. They spent the first two days in another hotel, in general, we were still lucky that we didn’t have to run back and forth around Kemer with things. When we were leaving, we were sitting with our suitcases at the reception, waiting for a transfer to the airport, at half past two in the morning, a woman came running with her daughter, it turns out she had just arrived and she was also settled in this second hotel, she shouted that she was settled in a "bicharnya" . That's how nice people start vacation.
If we were immediately settled in a standard room for which we paid money, I could only say good things about this hotel.
Settlement. They gave us a small number. We can hardly turn around alone, but for us this is not important. The furniture is new. There was air conditioning, TV fridge, large closet, bedside tables. Bed with good mattress and balcony overlooking the pool. There were no pillowcases on the bed and the sheets had not been changed. after the notice, the cleaning lady came and replaced. San knot is a different story. The handle for switching the shower to the faucet was broken. There is no fan in the bathroom. Only a hole in the ceiling (a miserable semblance of ventilation), so there was always a stench and dampness. The renovation has been nicely done. They did it like. It should be noted that the water pressure was always good and only late at night the water was cold. The room was provided with 5 towels, toilet paper, soap and a hair dryer. Well, the most important disappointment is a finger-thick layer of dust on the top of the cabinet. Plus, no one cleans the air conditioner grids there is mold. The top ends of the doors are also covered in dust. Another drawback for us was one blanket for two.
The location of the hotel. The hotel is in the heart of Kemer, all major shops, grocery stores and stalls are within easy reach. To the nearest sea on foot about 10 minutes. Among the shortcomings is the howling of the mosque early in the morning. There are not enough sunbeds and tables near the pool, as the territory is small. They give wi-fi. It is free but worked well for us only near the reception. (For us, this is more plus than minus). Another plus of this hotel is the presence of an elevator.
Kitchen. Let me just say that you won't go hungry. For example, I do not like chicken, but almost always there was an alternative to it. Large selection of salads and for lunch and dinner a large selection of sweets. There are some positives in the kitchen. Dishes are clean. Tablecloths are almost clean. They take the dishes for you. Minus - often very peppered dishes, bread saves.
Bar as usual for a triple: white red wine, beer, gin, crayfish, fanta, sprite and cola. All this is for an amateur. Gin was in demand.
Beach. To the beach on schedule by bus back and forth. If everyone did not intermeddle, then the driver returned and took away. The beach itself is clean pebble. There were enough beds for everyone. You can't bring your own towels from the room. For me, the minus is the local beggars who walked all the time and begged us to buy juice, corn from them, ride a parachute and so on.
In general, I am satisfied with the hotel staff at the reception, in the dining room, in the bar and the animator on the beach. I'm not happy with the slow cleaners and also with another blowjob (can't work with his hands only with his tongue), who on the first days of arrival begs you to go to his sauna with a massage for 20 bucks per person.
I talked about the pros and cons of this hotel as much as possible. A question of price. For the money I'm happy. If the price is higher I will reconsider another option. Have a good rest everyone.
P. S. The laundry service that accepts laundry from this hotel does not use strong stain removers. The information came from an employee who worked at that laundromat.
The hotel rooms are simple and comfortable, clean, have everything you need, cleaned often. The hotel offers a gorgeous view of the mountains, including the highest point (Tahtali, 2365m), where snow lies all summer, very beautiful.
There are no questions about nutrition, we never left hungry, the food is delicious
(the only thing is spicy, but these are the features of Turkish cuisine), in general, quite diverse, there is always the first, the garnish is mainly rice (very tasty! ), Potatoes, meat dishes, mostly chicken, and a huge selection of vegetables and salads! Very tasty desserts. The bar has wine (red, white), vodka, rake, draft beer.
A separate HUGE plus for the service, very good, friendly staff, many speak good Russian. Special thanks to the hotel manager Fahri Sekerci, friendly, sociable, fluent in Russian and English, always ready to answer all your questions and help solve the difficulties that have arisen.
In general, the impression of the hotel is very good, in our opinion, its 4 * is quite, but not a huge 5 * castle, but quite a cozy, well-groomed, small hotel, with a great location and mountain views, and wonderful staff.
P. S. additional information for those who are interested in various types of excursions, do not take excursions from hotel guides (very expensive, sometimes even 2-3 times overpriced), better from local companies (we liked Ginza travel), but when ordering, ask what is included the cost of the tour (specially check the entrance tickets).
For those who are going to rest at the Melissa hotel this year, I want to share some information. Do not be afraid that you will have to travel to the beach by bus on schedule. Firstly, on the beach of the hotel there is sand with small pebbles and walking barefoot is quite comfortable, as well as sunbeds for free. In addition, you will always be brought back to the hotel on time and you will not be late for lunch. Second, the location of the hotel is excellent. There are no noisy establishments nearby and you can sleep peacefully without noise. If you check into a room overlooking the pool, you will admire the mountains. There are shops and cafes within a three-minute walk from the hotel, and on Mondays and Tuesdays a market comes nearby. I also want to note that the hotel bar has good beer, the staff is friendly. The Internet network is at the Melissa Lobby reception. by the Melissa Pool, and in the Melissa Rooms. Leaving the room is not enough just to slam the door, first you need to press the button on the door handle inside, otherwise the door will remain unlocked.
I wish you all a great holiday!
