Just returned from this hotel. We went to Slavske for the first time. I chose a hotel for a long time, so that it was decent and the price was normal. He stopped at the Carpathian backwater. Just returned from this hotel.
We went to Slavske for the first time. I chose a hotel for a long time, so that it was decent and the price was normal. He stopped at the Carpathian backwater. Here is an opinion about this hotel and Slavske itself.
So, I'll start with the good: the hotel is outside the village of Slavske (this is the village, maximum town) a couple of kilometers, on a hill, off the road. Around the mountains, beautiful green nature, fresh air. The quality of the hotel is quite good, the territory is clean, well maintained, there is a tennis court, playgrounds, a swimming pool, a sauna. That and all the positive things that can be said about him. What I didn’t like: the hotel administration promised that a taxi would meet us at the station and take us to the hotel, but upon arrival, after waiting in the morning for half an hour in the rain at the station, they caught a taxi for 100 UAH (the fee is the same for everyone), and for 5-8 minutes were in place. 100 UAH for the village by taxi, well, that's too much. Further. When we arrived at the hotel there was no one at the reception, neither around nor near. I had to call them on the mobile. and after a while the administrator came, even sailed imposingly. We took a double standard room for 1250 UAH / day. 1250 UAH / day, - taking such a number for several. days, a lot of things were expected, but in fact: there is no wifi at all (it barely takes on the first floor, we have the second and that's it, zero), the room is about 10-12 squares, but clean. There was no small refrigerator in the room, no kettle at least some. I emphasize once again, at such a price, at 50u/day, in such a backwater, there should be more and more, and so....and so the red price of such a room is well 300 UAH, but not 50u. Yes, this price included breakfasts and dinners, but a large selection, but quite tasty, but still, breakfasts and dinners cost separately in a cafe for 300 UAH, then the number should be 900 somewhere, but that would be very much too much for 10-12 meters and without food. After analyzing all over Slavsk, he noted that this hotel, for the price and service of this norm, is the norm here for a small square, such mega money, namely mega money. this is a backwater, without sufficient service, etc. , etc. The same taxis here (UAZ-Bobby) 100 rubles for a 10-minute drive, too, p. . c. Money is a pity, damn it's a pity to pay for something incomprehensible, without getting the service and approach due. The obvious conclusion was: the locals here do not appreciate the guests, they are like a wallet for them, and guests / tourists, like lushpei, would not come here and there would be no such prices and such "service". And so the impression is vulgar, smelly and nasty - if you spend 50 per day, it's already better in Thailand or Bali. In Slavske, as elsewhere in the Karpataz/Transcarpathia/Prykarpattya, the Sovdep approach with a grin of capitalism is in its prime. Those who respect themselves will choose Austria or Slovakia for skiing, rather than pay like "them", but have it like "in the scoop". Yes, the nature is beautiful, normal, but the rest is made up of many nuances, and that's why I think that I won't come here again. There is the same Georgia - an hour to fly, the prices are right, the hospitality is amazing, the beauty is on top. It's better to spend the same money, or spend a little more abroad, so that the "villagers" "fuck you" in your country. I do not recommend to rest here for those who have something to compare holidays with and who appreciate their earnings, realizing what to pay for.

Extremely happy with our choice of hotel! We chose the hotel specifically not in the center, but on the contrary, so that there would be an atmosphere of mountains and solitude, and we were not mistaken. The hotel is located on a mountain, for the first time it seems difficult and far to climb, but this is the first impression, such walks are a pleasure.

We chose the hotel specifically not in the center, but on the contrary, so that there would be an atmosphere of mountains and solitude, and we were not mistaken. The hotel is located on a mountain, for the first time it seems difficult and far to climb, but this is the first impression, such walks are a pleasure. Walking distance to the center is 30-40 minutes. If you wish, you can take a taxi at the hotel, the prices are good, better than taxi drivers at the station. We lived in a room on the 4th floor, attic, everything is very clean, tidy, cleaning every day. The food at the hotel is super, they cook deliciously and quickly, and there is always a choice of dishes for breakfast or dinner. Also lunches, which are not included in the price, but can be ordered at the hotel from the menu, the prices are loyal. Staff attitude is top notch! If we talk about skiing, then the Politekhnik lift, 10 minutes on foot from the hotel (if there is snow on the mountain), option Pogar (there is a big mountain (if there is snow) and a small hill (artificial snow), it is 40 minutes from the hotel on foot), also Mount Trostyan or Zakhar Berkut (by taxi 10 minutes). We will definitely come back to the hotel. I recommend to everyone!

Beautiful nature, clean air, good territory. The room, as it corresponds to a 3 * hotel for 3, is very small (we have 2 people), but very warm. The furniture is new, not yet worn out, bedding and towels are not the first freshness. The promised cosmetics consisted of 2 bags of shower gel (aka shampoo), liquid soap in a soap dish and a roll of toilet paper.

For 5 days of rest, only on the 2nd day they brought us another 1 roll of toile. papers and took out an empty bucket of garbage, the rest of the days the garbage had to be packed into a bucket so that it would not fall out, but no one even thought to clean it up, not to mention the sheets! To get to the hotel, you only need to take a taxi (about 100 UAH as of January 2016), which can not always go up the mountain if there is at least light ice on the road. It was like this for us: we arrived half way and they announced to us that it was further on foot, otherwise we might not leave. What would you understand: 2 suitcases, 2 bags and a laptop, my husband and I had to pull along a slippery road 600 meters up the mountain, where the slope sometimes reached such a level that I just went down with the suitcase. If you still want to get there by car, as it turned out, you only need to take an antediluvian UAZ.
Despite the fact that we left the snowy Kyiv, in Slavske there was little snow for the ski slopes to work, so we had to drive 30 km. in the GLC "Play" (p. Plavia), in order to somehow go skiing, which cost at least 100 UAH. per person, and even we ourselves had to look for people to fill the car.
The nearest normal store is 20-25 minutes on foot, but it took minutes to get back from it. 40 up the mountain, and if you are tired then all 50. After the first trip to the store and spent 1.5 hours of time and a lot of effort, I realized that I need to choose either going to the store or skiing)))
Unfortunately, in bad weather (when you can’t go skiing), there was nowhere to go, only to hire a taxi, and it will cost you 70-120 UAH. could already start in some institution (prepare the money, gentlemen, if you don’t want to sit stupidly in the room).
The staff and the Administrator are always busy, running around somewhere, it’s simply impossible to catch them at the reception, but when we succeeded, we got the name of 2 banal and the most expensive type of "restaurants" in the center, which we ourselves have already seen, but we had no impression from them (an ordinary bar for young people, no special national dish for you, or something new)
Maybe I expected too much, or only couples with children need to relax here (although we didn’t rush there for parties and loud parties), but this is my opinion from the hotel and about Slavsky too (

We go to the "Carpathian calm" every year in summer or winter, and this year we rested in October. We were lucky with the weather, we could not even imagine how beautiful the Carpathians could be in autumn. . . and what an air there! I was pleased that the rooms were renovated, new carpeting, heated floor in the bathroom, hot water with good pressure and without interruption.

I was pleased that the rooms were renovated, new carpeting, heated floor in the bathroom, hot water with good pressure and without interruption. But the main thing is the location of the base itself and the well-groomed territory, many new plants have been planted. The base is located on the mountain, in a cozy place, from where you can climb even higher up the mountain and from there you can see a magnificent view of the Carpathian landscapes. It was just a paradise for children, as they built a new large playground with a trampoline, from where it was not possible to get the children out.
It’s very cool that there is a cafe with delicious homemade food, everything is always fresh, I think this is a big plus, since you don’t have to buy and bring food with you and bother with cooking. Wi-Fi is now available in the cafe.
And the bathhouse is just super, and even with a whisk and a pool of ice water. . .
Of the shortcomings, in my opinion, there is no Wi-Fi coverage in the territory and in the rooms.
The price / quality ratio is excellent, once again we are convinced - a really pleasant place for a relaxing family holiday.

Recently rested in the Carpathian Cosiness. A sea of impressions, both positive and negative! There are pros and cons. Briefly about the main thing: very good location of the hotel (on the mountain, away from the road), extraordinary nature, fresh air ... , sauna, billiards, cottage rooms (rooms), very dirty rooms (fungus on the walls and ceiling near the bathroom, around spiders and cobwebs, dust and debris, etc.

The administrator is not qualified, indifferent, answers all questions: "What can I do for you? ". From the promised dishes in the suite for 4 people there were 3 dirty saucers and 2 broken cups. The administrator's answer: "What can I do for you? There are no more dishes. People beat everyone. "
We stole firewood from the grill, which was previously sold to us at the base for 20 hryvnias (neighbors from a similar cottage saw them for free). Administrator's response “What can I do for you? You burned them yourself. They said that you need to order at least 3 servings.
Many, many more things - it is impossible to describe everything! ! ! ! ! See photos of the base and cottage - luxury for 720 UAH / day and draw your own conclusions! ! ! ! !

Never take extra space. This is a spring clamshell that flies, so it rests on the wall. Top with a thin cotton mattress. so convenient except in the hospital, and not everyone)).
The pool is not really heated. Neither this nor last year.
The playground is also in a deplorable condition, all the swings are flying or wrapped in wires.
There are very few sunbeds by the pool, so you have to throw a towel in the morning to get free. because on the first day we did not manage to sunbathe. And those sunbeds are mostly broken.
The rest is cool, fresh air, barbecue, tennis. . .

Everything was OK until we encountered the services declared on the site, and officially announced when booking: the pool is NOT heated and never heated, the water is cold, we were outraged, because when choosing a hotel, we paid attention to it. The food in the cafe is delicious, home-made but too monotonous: pancakes, potato pancakes, scrambled eggs every day. If you want something else, buy food, the kitchen will cook, but it's worth it, believe me, not cheap. The rooms are not bad, only the carpet is so dirty that you can't let a child go barefoot. The staff is friendly, the administrator is great, trying to live up to all the expectations of vacationers and refute the lies that are declared on the site. There are no ATVs, horses, promised trout. The tennis court is so poor that even the markings are invisible. Sand in the sandbox is one swamp. The cost of this hotel is a maximum of 100 UAH per room, but not 200.
We will not go there with the child again.

On the plus side: it was very quiet and calm, and so much so that when it was necessary, we could not find any of the staff, it seemed we were alone in the mountains, in the forest, in this hotel and a few more people like us got lost.
Of the minuses: - cold rooms, - satellite TV with one channel "Baby nanny" - an expensive and not tasty restaurant with unobtrusive service, - it took several hours to get to the hotel at the address: they have I. Franka street everywhere !! ! No one knew exactly where this hotel was located. - Far from the lower station of the lift "Polytechnic" and "FMI", as well as the normal rental of equipment, according to the principle - the eye sees, but it has no tooth; it is especially difficult in the evening, after a whole day of skiing, to climb uphill at a crazy angle and knee-deep snow.
But it was our first experience of the Carpathians and the first steps on skis, since then we go to the Carpathians every year, and we always live in private cottages with local residents - it's much better there
