we had a morning check in. The representative of the host (the firm Rubin) categorically stated that we were not supposed to have breakfast. at the same time, we paid for a full day (about 8 thousand rubles). and given the half board system, the food shone to us only after 9 hours. the administrator Tatyana decided the situation in our favor (perhaps the senior manager - I'm sorry, I didn't specify. In any case, she is constantly at the reception, speaks Russian). the interest of the representative of the company in us was blown away completely, as soon as it became clear that we were not interested in excursions. Tatyana solved all the questions about the rest for us. I sincerely thank her. no PR - just human.
gave us the best room. it is on the 1st floor with a huge loggia and hidden from the sun by a leafy tree.
nutrition
as always in Israel - the highest class. Quality and correct selection of products. for all tastes and desires. fruits - five kinds, milk, fish (from salmon and tuna to hake), salads and sweets. And most importantly, drinking water is always freely available. very cool, by the way.
sea
it took 10 minutes to walk to the beach. the back is a little harder, as there is a slight rise and sunshine. but we weren't bothered. many took a shuttle to the spa of another hotel. I didn’t need a solarium and an indoor pool with water from the sea.
By the way, the repair of the embankment and the hotel Hod do not particularly interfere
I advise the hotel to everyone who is not attached to relaxing at the pool, who adequately builds expectations from the rest and does not require "seven nannies" to spin around.
clearly formulate the meaning of the claims or the essence of the issue - they will be happy to help you.

With the change of the Tulip Inn sign to the Leonardo Inn, absolutely nothing has changed, but only worsened. The rooms are not cleaned, the shower in the solarium has not been cleaned for weeks, there is rubbish, paint and dirt all around. And at the same time, prices have become like in a 4 star hotel.

I was seduced by reviews of a relaxing holiday in this hotel, arrived and it turned out that this was not true! There is no rest! Directly under the windows of the rooms there will be a restaurant with hookahs, Arabic amateur performances and Russian pop music. In the evening and at night, the music rumbles so that the walls are shaking when the balcony is closed! There is no rest during the day either.

Geese, roosters and peacocks graze in the yard. From 6 in the morning, this brethren, replacing each other, yells at all voices. Not a hotel, but some kind of pig farm.
The room is small, everything is old, the toilet stinks.
The staff is unfriendly and indifferent. They don’t understand in Russian, it’s impossible to learn anything. At the entrance, a Russian-speaking manager with pubic hair on his chin, named Jan, attached himself. He said that if you have any questions, you can contact him. Fig there! He turned out to be a completely useless stupid young man. During the "rest" my stomach got sick, I asked for assistance in finding a pill for gastritis, so this moron only offered to go to the doctor for 2 thousand rubles.
By the way, be prudent - there are no pharmacies or medical centers in the district. The shops sell only condoms and for diarrhea. Take your medicines with you.
In which case, no one will help you! And this is strange, since the resort is positioned as a medical one!
On the first floor of the hotel there is a clinic selling cosmetics and useless procedures. The professor with the face of a plumber, without even examining, ordered to pay $ 1.500 for 8 procedures.
The beach at the hotel is disgusting. 20 meters of a cleared strip by the sea 3 meters wide. There is also a drain pipe out into the sea. It feels like you're sunbathing at a construction site.
The most shameful hotel on the Dead Sea. Spoiled vacation. I highly do not recommend!

Although the hotel rooms are small, they are quite nice! The beach at Leonardo Inn 3* is shared with the LeMeridien 5* hotel. Both belong to the same owner - the Fattal network. A path leads to the sea. The beach has a lifeguard booth, umbrellas with chairs, a toilet, showers. The beach is not intended for a long pastime - there are no bars, no sports grounds.

The beach has a lifeguard booth, umbrellas with chairs, a toilet, showers. The beach is not intended for a long pastime - there are no bars, no sports grounds...
Since SPA procedures, in addition to swimming in the sea and sunbathing in the sun, are the main activity at the Dead Sea, I will tell you more about it.
The Leonardo Inn does not have its own SPA complex. Therefore, you have to use the spa hotel LeMeridien 5 *. You can walk to this huge five-star hotel, but it's not convenient. Previously, it was possible to go straight in a couple of minutes, but now a canal has been dug and you have to go around... It is much more pleasant in an open little car like a large golf cart - quickly and for free! They run constantly. The route is simple - the LeMeridien hotel - the beach - the Leonardo Inn hotel.
Bathrobes are issued at the entrance to the spa. Not free… The use of a bathrobe, regardless of the number of days - 30 shekels (240 rubles). An additional deposit is made - 50 shekels (400 rubles). You need to take the bathrobe with you to the Leonardo Inn, because if you return it, you will have to pay 30 NIS again the next day. At the same time, the bathrobe can be changed to a fresh one even every day - after visiting the SPA or the next day at the entrance. The deposit is returned after the return of the bathrobe.
Slippers, if you do not have your own to walk in the room, you need to buy. The cost is 15 shekels (120 rubles). In the spa itself, it is better to use your rubber slippers - it is very slippery there. After visiting the SPA, it is advisable to rinse the slippers thoroughly, because. after the water of the Dead Sea, they can quickly become unusable... And it would also be nice to take a rubber cap with you to the SPA.
LeMeridien, by the way, is already a crowded hotel, and tourists also come from the Leonardo Inn hotel. Therefore, the Dead Sea water pool and jacuzzi are almost always full. In two showers, to wash off the salt water, it happens that you have to stand in a queue...
There is also a sauna (I never went in, because there were a lot of people there all the time), a separate area for taking hydrogen sulfide baths (for an additional fee), a locker room with tiny lockers, a shower and a toilet. There are a lot of plastic chairs around the pool, there is hot herbal tea and drinking water at the exit.
Considering the fact that there is no cheaper hotel in the resort area of Ein Bokek on the Dead Sea, there is no alternative to economical accommodation. Accommodation in kibbutzim (Ein Gedi, Kalia, etc. ) is suitable only for independent tourists who are ready to rent a car. The option of accommodation in the nearest town to the Dead Sea - Arad - I do not consider at all. This is good only for those who need to breathe mountain air and who are not going to swim in the Dead Sea every day.
For those who are willing to pay 15-20-25% more than the cost of staying at the Leonardo Inn, there are alternative options in other hotels. In any case, the choice is up to the tourist - everyone decides what suits him and whether he is ready to pay for it!

Rested with my husband at the end of August 2011. We are absolutely delighted!
The hotel is wonderful!
At first, when we arrived, everything seemed very old in the hotel. Indeed, after all, Leonardo Inn is the first hotel that was built in this resort area. The furniture in the rooms is also old. And at first we didn't like it. But the very next day our opinion changed for the better about this hotel.
Service.
The staff is just awesome! Towels are changed every day and cleaned very well. Everywhere is very clean! We left tips - they just shifted them to us on the bedside table. In general, we noticed that the Israelis do not take tips at all.
Food.
The food is wonderful too. A very large selection. For dinner, only meat - 10 types. There are many different types of cottage cheese for breakfast. Vegetables are all right! Fruits: watermelons, apples, plums, pears.
Very tasty pastries.
Do not take 3 meals a day. We took - and dined there the three of us. This is not common in this hotel.
And 2 times a day is really enough. In 5 minutes walk there is Aroma cafe - you can have a bite to eat there. The portions are very large.
Ate on kraynyak you can eat at the hotel - 70 shekels (* 8 rubles = 560 rubles) per person. But it's not worth it! ! !
Swimming pool.
The pool is half covered with an awning. Very comfortable to avoid getting burned. And the pool is always cold.
Beach.
Clean. Sand. From the hotel 7-10 minutes on foot or by car "Tuk-tuk". Everything is free: sunbeds, chairs, towels. Beach from Meredian.
By the way, you could go to Meredian and use spa services for free: swimming pools, saunas, a gym (only in sneakers), a jacuzzi, a circular shower.
DO NOT BUY cosmetics at the hotel! ! ! There are 2 shopping centers (canyons) - it's cheaper there.
And one more thing: there is a travel agency in the nearest Petra canyon - excursions there are cheaper than your tour operators will offer you. We went through this agency and were very satisfied!
Taxi is expensive!
We somehow returned from Arad (30 minutes on a serpentine) - 140 shekels.
P. S. We had room 119 (no balcony). But the large slider window opens completely. The windows overlook the central area (where the entrance to the hotel). Room 101 exactly with a balcony.
By the way, the peacocks living on the territory do not interfere with sleep at all!
And one more thing: believe me, this is the most peaceful hotel of all that are there.
If you are going to the Dead Sea, and not to lie in a beautiful room, choose this hotel!

We stayed at the Leonardo Inn Hotel from March 16-23. A hotel without frills, for people without requests. The rooms are not large squares 13-15, but it was enough with air conditioning, telephone, free safe, kettle with a replenished supply of tea, coffee, sugar. There is also a TV with a Russian channel, a balcony overlooking the sea, a toilet and a bath are combined, towels are changed every day, there are 2 soaps, 2 shampoos with conditioner and 2 gels in the bathroom, there is an ironing room with an iron, a hairdryer can be taken at the reception for a fee.

Used the services of the 5-star hotel "Meridian" for free: swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, sauna. Massages and beauty treatments - for an additional fee. The weather was great! 28 - 31, water - 22 - 24 degrees. Be sure to take protective sunscreen with you, you can burn lightly !! ! Were in Jerusalem, Bethlehem. Unforgettable impressions! The tour operator offered for $ 80, who can find it expensive for 60. Knowledge of English is desirable for contact with the airport staff, the hotel speaks Russian. We recommend everyone to visit! You will not regret!

The hotel corresponds to the triple plus. Family run, quiet hotel for those who want to relax in silence and who are not looking for noisy entertainment. The food is close to home. The sea is 5 minutes walk. The rooms are no frills, but with everything you need. The food is half board, but enough for the whole day.

I have been staying at this hotel for several years in a row. Satisfied with everything, except for gatherings on Thursdays at the local Bidouin cafe. Music and noise until one in the morning and nothing can be done. Lately the food has gotten worse. You need to ask for kefir, they don’t bring it willingly.

Sunbathing naked in the rooftop solarium or lounging by the pool with peacocks, which I fear. I recommend - clean, comfortable and not expensive.
