In general, I liked the hotel. We lived on the 6th floor (room 610, comfort +) The room is not big, compact and has everything you need. The closet has no shelves, but a lot of hangers. The bathroom is also very compact with a small shower (large people will not turn around in it)) Room cleaning: cleaning in the sense of mopping or dusting - they didn’t notice, but they took out the trash every day, changed used towels (exactly used ones), replenished disposable shampoos, soap, added toilet paper if necessary, changed bed linen every 4 days.

Room cleaning: cleaning in the sense of mopping or dusting - they didn’t notice, but they took out the trash every day, changed used towels (exactly used ones), replenished disposable shampoos, soap, added toilet paper if necessary, changed bed linen every 4 days.
Meals: the hotel has a cafe with complex breakfasts / lunches / dinners, but you need to order them in advance. Breakfast 120 hryvnia, lunch 160 gr. If you have not ordered in advance, you can order from the menu. Lunch on the menu (liver pate with croutons, borscht, hot frying pan (there was not enough meat, but the vegetables were delicious)), chicken breast with baked vegetables) cost us 400 hryvnias, for two.
On the 2nd, 8th and 16th floors there are rooms with massage, reflexology and other medical procedures.
The territory of the hotel: it actually does not exist. A playground on the roof of the second floor, near a cafe (slide, house), the park adjacent to the hotel is abandoned, not well maintained and neglected (which is very upsetting)
There is a tram and bus stop next to the hotel. There is a cafe a little away from the stop, we had breakfast in it (2 pasties with meat, an omelet with bacon and 2 coffees, cost us 110 hryvnia for two. Breakfast at the hotel - 120 hryvnia for one). Two mini-shops (rather "tents") are located next to the hotel (one near the stop, the other on the opposite side of the hotel, behind the fence) open 24 hours.
Far from the beach. More than a kilometer. Timed: 14 minutes with a confident step (not walking) to Arcadia beach and the same amount to Chaika beach. We traveled by tram until 14 st. BF to the beach of the sanatorium. Gorky or at 16 tbsp. BF on Golden Beach. In general, the choice of beaches is large and you can choose to your taste))
In 2 stops from the hotel there is a supermarket "Obzhora", in three stops there is a supermarket "Selpo", on the way to the beach "Seagull" there is a supermarket "Tavria V". The center is also much further than they write on the site. To Deribasovskaya about 40 minutes by bus.
In general, the hotel is more suitable if only - to spend the night or for seminars / business trips

We pre-booked on Booking to another hotel (we were looking for a week from the center), but after they saw it, they canceled the reservation and called Mirny (2 years ago we were on a business trip, then they settled us in Mirny). We made a reservation over the phone. Arriving, settled on the 9th floor, the sea was visible from the end of the balcony. The room itself was with twin beds, a balcony, a hairdryer, a kettle, a tea set, a hairdryer, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, in general, everything is as in the photo. Of the minuses: an old balcony (but the view from it is cool), someone put out a cigarette on a coffee table (a dark spot remained), bursting tiles in the toilet and eviction before 10-00. In general, the hotel leaves a good impression: helpful staff, clean and spacious room, a tram rides to the station (Kulikovo field), and a minibus goes to the center (stop right next to the hotel), a maximum of 10 minutes leisurely walk to the sea.

The main disadvantage is the greed of the hotel owners:
- Breakfast is not included in the price.
- Wi-Fi in the room - paid.
- paid parking
- balcony for 2 rooms, WITHOUT partition. So if an unfamiliar neighbor drops in on you, don't be surprised. Well, the balcony is in the state it was in after construction.

Mirny is definitely the best hotel in Odessa. I was very pleased with the changes in the design of the premises, especially the rooms. Special thanks to the manager Olga for the tour of the hotel. It will be very pleasant to visit Mirny again, which added to the pleasant impressions of the beautiful city of Odessa.

We rested in Mirny in 2013, in June.
We were in Odessa 3 times, last visit we also stayed in Mirny, but in a room of a lower category and usually in July.
Since the tourist season in Odessa begins in July, in connection with this, in the hotel, or rather with meals at it (this is a separate cafe, i. e. a separate legal entity according to the papers, but in fact it is a cafe at the hotel) there are some problems . If during normal tourist times the cafe has a comprehensive offer for breakfast and lunch, then the rest of the time you can have a maximum of breakfast. But I will write about it below.
The room, which we booked very well in advance, was of the "Euro-comfort" category. Good furniture, fresh renovation, good room size. The balcony, however, like everyone else, is for 2 rooms, so if you have neighbors behind the wall, is it better to walk around the room in clothes and close the curtains in the mornings / evenings ? . There are no complaints about the room, cleaning in the room and the hotel itself. True, it is not close to the sea, as they say in the description, as well as to the center. But a good transport interchange with a tram (where we really immerse ourselves in the local color) and with minibuses compensates for this if the goal is not only to lie on the beach.
Let's return to the cafe, because of which the main adventures were.
As I wrote above, even though there is no lunch offer in the cafe in June (by the way, it’s almost impossible to have a tasty and inexpensive lunch near Mirny, you had to go to the center), but this does not apply to breakfast. For a small amount you can have a very tasty breakfast.
One day for breakfast, among other things, I ordered myself fried eggs. They brought it to me not quite well-done (the protein was still liquid in some places). Closer to dinner, I felt a strong chill in my body and nausea, there was no temperature. In the evening I began to vomit non-stop. The next morning, a slight fever rose. To my regret, I started to knock her down. I didn't eat or drink anything but water that day. The next day, severe diarrhea was added to the vomiting. There was no doubt now that it was salmonellosis. A small lyrical digression: salmonella is found on the shell of eggs, if the shell has not been washed (according to sanitary standards, it is washed in 2 waters), salmonella enters the egg directly when broken, if the eggs do not receive proper heat treatment (roasting), salmonella enters the human body . This happened to me.
I went downstairs to the administrator, asked if they had a doctor on staff. There was no doctor. I told about my symptoms and that I sin on their scrambled eggs. Half an hour later, Mrs. Trandasir T. S. came running to my room. and she began to assure me that I couldn’t get poisoned by them, it’s all the sea’s fault, she gave me a pack of activated charcoal (yeah, otherwise I didn’t have it) and a pill of some antibiotic little known to me. Generosity really knows no bounds, huh. On the advice of a doctor friend, I sent my husband to the pharmacy, bought me the necessary medicines. On the same night (and it was already the 3rd day and 3rd night of my illness) I got even worse, vomiting and diarrhea were non-stop, I asked the administrator to call an ambulance. For 2 hours (!!! ) she refused to call her until I threatened to call the Russian consulate right away. I was taken to the Infectious Diseases Hospital by ambulance. To their misfortune, I heard the conversation between the emergency doctor and the administrator in the lobby. It was literally said: "If they find an infection in her, they will torture you with checks, so it's better to start cleaning up. "
I stayed in the hospital for 3 days (this is a separate song). At the reception, as you know, they take a bunch of all sorts of tests, which, according to the regulations, are done within 3 working days. Since the period of our stay in this city was coming to an end, I tried to find out the results of the tests by phone. My analyzes were “ready” in 7 (!!!! ) days. And, by the way, according to their results, I was admitted to the hospital as an absolutely healthy person?
These documents were eventually sent to my home address, in Russia. For this, special thanks to the consulate staff and personally to Yu. A. Antonov, who, in addition to words of support, contacted the staff of this boarding house, who refused to let me back to the hotel for my things. True, this was not necessary, since I was still extremely weak to collect things on my own.
Well, the hotel staff, a separate NO respect for you for shaking 10 UAH from your husband for a teaspoon, which I took with me to the hospital. You could close your eyes to this
In general, Odessa is a beautiful city, we will go again! Not a foot in Mirny now.
Thanks to all those who have mastered the entire post.

We rested with the whole family in "Mirny" and are very satisfied, it is unlikely that you will find such a comfortable boarding house at such prices anywhere else. The main advantages are: good food, cleanliness of the rooms, service staff, a fairly close location to the sea (10-15 minutes walk). In general, everyone was satisfied.
