They clean rooms with carpet without vacuum cleaners.
In the middle of the day when the children are sleeping and there should be a quiet hour, because this is not a hotel, but a SANATORIUM, they mow the grass with a lawn mower, they cut tiles with a grinder to repair the floor in a restaurant, they saw boards to repair the roof with a chainsaw.
A separate word about food, it's just terrible. Borsch without sour cream, dry casseroles, thin cheese slices, fruits in August - apples and watermelon. Chicken leg with feathers. Children work in the kitchen.
Management, please draw conclusions, you have a wonderful place, one of the best in Shayan, improve the level of service and food.
The rooms and treatment rooms are clean, the food is delicious. The food is dietary but very balanced and tasty.
Large area, swimming pool right under the twilight. Very colorful.
It is convenient to take an excursion directly to the sanatorium (the prices are the same as everywhere else), but you don’t have to go anywhere, the bus will arrive right at the gate.
Highly recommend as a resort for couples with children. An excellent kids club (free of charge) - the little ones did not want to leave there, and I could easily go through the procedures myself. For which special thanks to the animator Alexander.
We enjoyed it very much and are planning our next visit.
Reception: check-in went quickly, no delays. The girls are very attentive, they showed the territory along the way to the building.
Accommodation: We lived in the old building. He, of course, is "old", but it seems to us that it is quieter and calmer there. Even quieter than in the cottages, past which everyone walks and clamors on the phone. The most quiet rooms overlooking the children's house. However, if you are not lucky and a noisy company will live in rooms 2 and 3 on the ground floor with a common terrace, then almost everyone in the building will hear the hubbub on the terrace. The rooms are in need of refurbishment, pillows and mattresses should also be replaced. But overall it's good and clean. Plumbing is clean, working, towels are changed and on demand, incl.
Food: In our opinion, food is the weakest point of the sanatorium... The restaurant cannot be called a restaurant - it is a cafe-dining room. Dirty, especially on the open terrace. The waiters are attentive, but not professional at all. The kitchen is similar to home, absolutely without imagination and with elements of Soviet sanatoriums. In September, during the vegetable and fruit season, in the region where vegetables and fruits are grown, there were very few seasonal dishes. If they serve nalistniki with apples, then these are two harsh pancakes and a teaspoon of applesauce... The extreme savings on literally everything are very noticeable. Therefore, the kitchen pulls on 3+ no more.
Procedures and mineral water: The water is quite pleasant, the pump room works. Procedures are released without queues, on time. But with the influx of vacationers, it is very difficult for the staff to cope with the appointment and change in the schedule of procedures. It's time to introduce an electronic system. Sad massage rooms (no windows, stuffy, in the basement). The bathroom section was very nice.
To summarize, I will say that if in the near future we revise the methods of managing the sanatorium, the approach to nutrition and the work of all staff, it will be very good. If this is not done, then Carpathia can turn into a completely boring, wretched place from the Soviet past. Finally, I’ll add that don’t count on excursions from the sanatorium. Excursions were canceled for us twice, without explanation, just before they began, which greatly spoiled the rest and the impression of the sanatorium.
I hope that our review will be considered by the administration of the sanatorium as an impetus for reforms.
I read the reviews on the site, I liked everything and went with my wife and a small child. Now it is clear why there are such good reviews on the website of the Karpatia sanatorium, since all of them are sent for verification to the deputy director of the Karpatia sanatorium Petechuk Irina Andreevne, so she chooses which ones to exhibit and which not.
Let me tell you some truth about this place.
Territory normal, do not say anything, there is a small slide for children. A trampoline without a net, and all the time "under repair" (probably not the first year), the pool is small, no more than 5 people.
Food: upon check-in, we were told that we have an hour to eat, come any time during this hour. When we arrived, all the food was cold, when asked why it was so, the waiter said that they take everything out at one time, if you want to come later - eat cold.
In the halls, air conditioners do not work, where no one knows the consoles, everyone sits and sweats around.
The waiters do not know the prices for food on the menu. and Prices, as it seemed to me, are called out of my head
Treatment: all procedures for 10 min. Ozokerite-10 min, massage 10 min, inhalation 10 min. . All for 10 : -) But what kind of massage lasts 10 minutes???
rented a deluxe room. This is not luxury, but what the hell. It is considered a luxury simply because of 2 rooms, it would be better if there was one, but clean and comfortable, and not this darkness in which we "spent the night" for 1880 UAH per day...
In general, if you want to spoil your vacation, go to Carpathia! : -)
Most of our vacations were not aimed at treatment, but at the opportunity to get away from the "urban rhythm of life". That's why we chose restaurant food, and it's here at the highest level. Everything is delicious, and just a lot : )))
As for the procedures, I liked the massage the most. After that, I seemed to come to life again, and began to breathe easier. She was also pleased with the trip to the beautician. You always have to look good : )))
But most of the emotions are caused by the local nature. Bike ride along the mountain along narrow paths, through mountain streams. It is at such moments that you feel that you are breathing as they say "full chest".
We will definitely come back here next year.
Thank you to the sanatorium for an unforgettable vacation)
Treatment as in all sanatoriums - Shayan mineral water number 2 and 242, own pump room, mineral baths, massages, all kinds of physical procedures, although some are paid, but the prices are not high for example - back massage 40 UAH, hydromassage of gums with mineral water 20 UAH, very Attentive, well-trained staff, young nice people, always smiling and ready to help in any matter.
Meals are dietary, three meals a day, varied, sufficient and tasty, they give 2-3 dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can choose from 2 menu options. We liked.
There is a gym, a small pool, sunbeds, bike rental even for children and scooters for them, various playgrounds with an animator. The sanatorium organizes all kinds of excursions in Transcarpathia and abroad - Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, if you have a visa, but if you stay longer than 10 days, they can open a Schengen visa for you.
Free parking, guarded territory of the resort.
The little things that made us happy: there is a microwave oven in the canteen on each floor and if you are suddenly late, you can always warm up your dish, there is an electric dryer in the bathroom, which is very useful for drying towels and washed things, there is an ironing iron on each floor.
A few minuses - poor slow Internet and poor WIFI coverage, no MTS connection throughout the resort, bad roads at the entrances to the resort (but this is more likely the fault of the facility itself). There are no medical procedures on Sunday, although with a week-long stay it would be necessary.
So! Yes, this is not Karlovy Vary and not Baden Baden, and this institution is still far from 4 * level, BUT !!! ! For 560 UAH. per day (about $ 25) you get all of the above and it's just GREAT!!!
Recommend!!! !
