2 students (18 and 19 years old) decided to go to Nice from Montpellier (we studied in Montpellier) and decided to travel on a budget to the south of France. Destination: Nice and Monaco. We found the cheapest hotels in Nice (2 local). With huge backpacks, in the very heat, they crossed the whole of Nice, drove to the end of the city - AND THERE "COMPLET"))) We drove a circle on a tourist bus, got tired and went to the first hotel we came across.

THIS ONE)) A very nice man registered us. He even joked funny)) And in the morning - we got breakfast for 7 euros for the whole day: rolls, apples, jams, croissants, sausage, cheese)) hahaha! and then savored it all on the coast of Monaco)) we were very ashamed, but it was the most memorable trip in my life.
It is very well located: near the station, in the morning I managed to run to the M. Chagall Museum, in the evening we walked along the nighttime embankment of Nice. For students will do: 80 euros per room.

Despite the fact that the hotel is 2 *, we were comfortable and cozy. They fed well too. My husband and I have been traveling around Europe for 5 years already, we have visited hotels of different classes (from 2 * to 5 * - there is something to compare with, in Paris, for example, a 3 * hotel is much worse than here).

My husband and I have been traveling around Europe for 5 years already, we have visited hotels of different classes (from 2 * to 5 * - there is something to compare with, in Paris, for example, a 3 * hotel is much worse than here). It is clean, the plumbing works, the air conditioner is working, the TV shows, the service is unobtrusive... Moreover, on the day of departure, we had to leave the room at 11 am, and the plane at 20-30, so we were allowed to leave things in a small back room completely free of charge. The hotel is located near the railway station, which is very important if you are going to travel around the area, for example, go to Monaco or Cannes. In addition, there is a tourist bus stop near the station, and if you have taken a ticket, then during the day you can go to your room, have a snack, relax, and then continue the tour further on the same bus.

Hotel Bern is just awful! The service leaves much to be desired. The attitude of the staff is simply rude. The hotel itself is located near the train station, so homeless people often go there.
