The restaurant - the usual canteen dishes from the USSR - mashed potatoes, buckwheat, pasta, home-style cutlets, pancakes from the liver. There are greens and fruits. There is no meat and fish in its natural form. There are a sufficient number of coffee machines, the quality of coffee is below average. Waiters are rude. SPA - a dark pool, baths are not bad. All services for a fee, unsanitary conditions - baths are poorly washed, in the cave room everyone is covered with blankets, which are washed once a week, Moscow prices.
In general, it is impossible to put more than 3 out of 5, savings on tourists are visible in everything. Be careful at the reception: girls with a soft look easily cheat and add an extra thousand to the bill)
Indoor pool and medical center in a separate building. Good medical base. The rooms are modern, tastefully decorated, new plumbing, furniture. Most rooms with sea view. The hotel is suitable for a friendly company and families.
The manager in the reservation department blatantly lies in the eye that there are no rooms, creating the appearance of a busy hotel in the autumn, considers this hotel his own, and himself the owner of the hotel, and the guests of the hotel named. Without blushing announcing that there are no rooms with a new renovation for the autumn period, forcing you to book a room with an old Soviet renovation at a crazy price, and upon arrival at the hotel you realize that you have been completely scammed, because in fact the number living in the hotel during this period was equal to 10-15 people, there can be no talk of discounts... they simply don’t give it.
When booking rooms through the hotel - you wait for an answer for at least 3 days.
In general, a solid elite soviet hotel for those who want to feel flawed, for the same money it is better to look for another hotel with better service and a normal attitude towards yourself.
My wife and I went to the sea, there is a lot of it in Pine Grove, three beaches are normal, one is covered with new pebbles... you won’t get through without slippers, the other is fenced... not ready. There are few people on the beach, there are enough sun loungers, but the “fashionable” shady canopy does not save from the sun, umbrellas give small ones... there is too much sun on the beach. The pebbly beach is clean, like in Europe, the sea too, rescuers even catch jellyfish with nets, put them in bags... where do they take them to? In the evening, on the beach in a restaurant, local artists give concerts, not Moscow, of course, but you can listen. Prices in the restaurant are acceptable, unlike restaurants on the waterfront in Yalta.
What is missing on vacation in Pine Grove: a small parking lot, we barely squeezed our car in, there is little shade on the beach, so it’s not very comfortable, there is no outdoor pool (the sea was stormy for several days, the indoor pool is full), in the summer in the Crimea you need more fruit on the Swedish line to give, the towels on the beach are old, it would be necessary to change. In general, the impression is not bad. Recommend.
We lived in the third building (very convenient, beach, medical building and dining room nearby), DBL room (fresh modest renovation, one and a half bed, large closet, plasma, small shabby sofa, clean bathroom).
Pros: a large landscaped park with benches and gazebos; polite and responsive staff; varied quality food: fish and meat dishes in assortment, two cereals for breakfast, two types of hot for lunch, red and white wine for lunch and dinner, fruits, vegetables, pastries; daily cleaning of the room and change of towels, change of linen 1 time in 3 days; elevator to the beach, free sunbeds and umbrellas; construction sites are fenced, no work has been done (but it’s better to check in advance), children’s animation, Wi-Fi works fine.
Cons: the minimum number of procedures for the all-inclusive program: baths, Charcot shower, fan shower, oxygen cocktail (in our ticket it was indicated that dry carbon dioxide baths were included in the price, but upon arrival it turned out that the situation had changed, pay extra, not great amount, but not nice); SPA procedures - one name (the list of services is large, in fact we don’t have it, we don’t do it, the quality of services leaves much to be desired, the venue is an ordinary room, the atmosphere does not induce relaxation, as in an average beauty salon); complete lack of adult animation - BORING!! ! (evening music program in the restaurant "Italian Yard" every 4-5 days, guitar or classical vocals).
The contingent of vacationers is married couples up to forty years old with children.
The overall impression of the sanatorium is normal, you can try it once. But it happens even better.
