Rested in "Friendship" with his wife and child at the end of July 2014. What can I say... Everyone looks from their own bell tower. My wife and daughter loved it, and so did I. Everyone looks from their own bell tower. My wife and daughter loved it, and so did I. I must say right away: the rest is not at all for party-goers. In other words, there is absolutely nothing to do in the boarding house in the evening. The declared cafe on the territory does not work, there is table tennis in the lobby - I have seen players playing once in almost two weeks. Tennis court on the territory is not used by anyone. Everything. There is absolutely nothing else to do on the territory of the boarding house. But I will try everything in order.
So the receptionist. Very polite girls at the reception, registration and settlement - about fifteen minutes.
Number. We booked it at the beginning of June, double with extra bed. place for a child. The room is small, for the last twenty years it has been purely cosmetic repairs, the area is about 12-14 square meters, they have 2 single beds, two bedside tables, a table, a folding chair (as an extra bed for a child), a TV table , two chairs, a refrigerator (this is from furniture). It’s problematic to separate together, and my wife and I walked past the beds in general in turn, because we don’t differ in miniature complexion : ) A wardrobe built into the hallway wall (actually, not a wardrobe, but a niche with two chipboard shelves and a door). All the furniture, although strong, is VERY old, terry-Soviet. The beds are single (90 cm) and creak like hell. The bathroom is not new, but clean, serviceable, the shower is full, with a tray and doors, and not a hole in the floor and a curtain. There is a problem with hot water: it is there, but before the water from the hot tap becomes at least a little warm, it must be drained for at least thirty minutes, while it flows in a rather weak stream (it flows normally from the shower, from the washbasin). Perhaps this is because our room was on the fifth floor. The room had air conditioning (worked well) and a TV - 10 channels (First, Russia, NTV, STS, Karusel, Rossiya24, RBC and something else, I don’t remember). They cleaned the room every day when we went to the beach, but the cleaning was purely symbolic - take out the trash and run a wet rag on the floor a couple of times. Well, we didn't litter much. The main advantage of the room is the balcony. Even so: BALCONY. He's gorgeous! The size of the squares is seven, no less, there are tiles on the floor, a visor above the balcony, so that part of the balcony is always in the shade. There are a couple of chairs and a table on the balcony (wobbly, bastard). We had a room with a sea view, and so, personally, I almost never left the balcony - before that, a breathtaking view opened from it! The sea, mountains, below you can see the water park and part of the embankment....Absolutely fabulous view!
Further. There is only one elevator, for a maximum of 300 kg of cargo (a maximum of three people fit in) - of course, it is almost always busy. After breakfast and lunch you have to wait a long time. The hall is clean, there is Wi-Fi at a speed of 512 Kb / s, a couple of ficuses, a sofa and a dozen armchairs in the hall. At the reception you can buy Coca-Cola products and coffee. The dining room is also clean, the waitresses are in nice clean uniforms, food is served quickly (we came - and there was already something on the tables, after a minute or two they brought the rest). One thing can be said about food: there is a lot of it, it is satisfying, but do not expect pickles. All the food is simple, reminiscent of such a terrible Soviet canteen (who knows, he understood), but it was well cooked, there were no poisonings and unpleasant gastrointestinal disorders too. There are always two or three bowls with different salads on the table at the entrance to the dining room, you can take as much as you want (like a buffet, yeah). Fruits were every day - apples, pears, peaches. In the morning, a couple of dishes and a salad were given for breakfast (for example, an omelette and a cutlet with buckwheat plus a salad - a very hearty breakfast, yes! ), In the evening, delicious pastries were always given for dinner. In a word, the food was slightly monotonous, but plentiful, satisfying and tasty. So my daughter is a seven-year-old fussy, but she ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner with appetite. In general, we have no complaints about nutrition and never arose.
Sea. The road to it is one more extreme. Suffice it to say that on the way to the beach, my wife and I yelled to our daughters every minute in chorus: "Beware! ! Watch your step!! " This very path. . . I personally counted the steps three times - there are not 390 of them, as they wrote here, there are 273 of them. The total length is 350 meters, not all of these meters are equipped with banal railings. Where they are, they are rusty and wobbly. You can go down, if you are careful, without problems (personally, my knees were trembling in the first couple of days after the descent), but to go up, especially during the day, in 33-degree heat....my wife did this trick once and said that on the second time her health is not enough. In general, it is clear that the damn staircase gave me 80% of all the negative.
Beach. The beach itself is not wide, there are wooden sun loungers and trestle beds (for guests - free of charge), sun loungers (for everyone, without exception, 100 rubles / day), awnings (not wide, exactly one row of trestle beds fits under them). Absolutely everyone is allowed there, only the guests of the "Friendship" are free of charge, and the rest - for money. The beach is rocky and pebbly, and the pebbles are NOT small, you can still get into the water somehow, but getting out is a problem for everyone whose weight is more than the weight of a ten-year-old child. I personally saw how people literally crawled out of the water. The sea is very warm and clean, if there is no excitement. There are a lot of sunbeds on the beach, and free wooden trestle beds - about thirty or thirty-five, no more, they stand under awnings and everyone is busy. We were lucky enough to grab a couple, so when we left the beach, we even left a blanket on them for the night, otherwise the next day we would have to lie under the scorching sun (the steward to the watchmen - and they will look after your trestle bed). Very close to the beach, on the promenade, there are literally dozens of cafes where you can eat and drink something cold. What I liked was that baklava and fish peddlers were not allowed on the beach, so their mournful cries came from far away and did not interfere at all. The beach was guarded by a couple of guys, they also played the role of rescuers and collectors of dough for sun loungers. The beach is fenced off from neighboring beaches by breakwaters (in general, the entire coast is cut into such pieces by these breakwaters, each piece is a separate someone's beach, who was in Alushta knows). Every day, twice in the afternoon before lunch and twice in the evening before dinner, a bus came for the guests of the "Friendship" and took them to the boarding house. I never saw any crowds on the bus, no one stood in the aisle. In general, you can leave the beach by minibus or trolleybus, but it’s a bit far to go to the stop. In general, the beach is not ale so much that we spent two days in a wonderful water park (it is located nearby, two hundred meters below the boarding house), despite the price of 800 rubles. per person per day.
Entertainment. As I already said, they are not in the boarding house. In general, the place where it was built is located on such a rather big hill, far from places of fun and parties. The saddest thing is not that it is far from the embankment. The saddest thing is that the last minibus in the direction of the boarding house leaves the embankment at 20.30, and the last trolleybus goes in that direction at 22.15. So, if you, being a guest of Druzhba, stayed up somewhere in a cafe on the embankment, then you have two ways to return to your room: either robber taxi drivers who charge 200 rubles for driving 2 stops, or walking up the same stairs , only upstairs and in complete darkness. Paradox: trolleybus stop next to the boarding house, go to the embankment - 5 minutes, one stop! But it is absolutely impossible to walk this very stop. In addition, the boarding house is located in the Professor's corner, this is a rather remote area of Alushta. The main entertainments have to be in Big Alushta, to which you have to go by the 2nd trolleybus (however, not for long - about ten to twelve minutes). The problems are the same: the last trolleybus in the direction of the boarding house leaves at 22.10, so you won’t relax much, otherwise you will get by taxi.
Actually, in the secluded location of the boarding house, its main plus and main minus. Plus - it's very quiet there, no music and drunken screams at night, absolute calm, amazing sea views. No strangers, only guests (most, by the way, with children). Minus - it is difficult to get to it, if, for example, in the evening you want to eat pizza or drink wine, then getting to the embankment and back is a whole operation: get off at the stop, get to the embankment, get where you wanted, buy what you wanted, return to the stop, wait for a minibus or trolley bus, get back....everything is about an hour. And all this after a whole day at sea. By the way, next to the boarding house there is a tiny shop where you can buy beer and some food, but there is no choice.
In general, I rather liked Friendship than not, but the likelihood that I will return there, frankly, is small.
Pros: a chic balcony with a magnificent view of the sea, polite and helpful staff, tasty and hearty food, cleanliness in the rooms and in general in the boarding house, beautiful, albeit a little neglected area, secluded location.
Cons: hellish descent to the sea, large pebbles on the beach, poorly equipped beach (with such stones it is necessary to equip a gangway! ), old furniture in the room, remote location. And they also need to do something with hot water.
In spite of everything, I want to say thank you to the staff of the boarding house for our vacation.

The staff is already familiar to us, always polite and helpful, thank you very much! This time I recorded the descent to the sea - 6 minutes, the ascent - 10-15 minutes, depending on the speed. One day there was heavy rain, and after it a rainbow over the sea. Alushta is a great place to relax, the city has become cleaner, there are even more people.
I was surprised by the lack of traffic lights, where they are really needed, the trolley bus cannot pass. the streets are lined with cars.
We visited the opened Multipark, it is very cool, an aquarium, a miniature park. Everything is great!! ! Alushta is just super!!!
A small remark to the senior administrator Svetlana Andreevna, if you make a reservation and promise a room, then it’s somehow unpleasant to live in one room for 2-3 days, and then move to your booked room. It just boiled, I didn’t write about it last year, I thought well with whom it does not happen, but the situation repeated itself, I did not even expect that this was possible. Constantly waiting for the move at 16 pm, then tomorrow after breakfast, it's a little annoying, because everyone has their own plans. Thank you!

I want to say that our vacation was a success, there were some inconveniences with the weather, but these are trifles.
As for the boarding house Druzhba, both I and my family are very satisfied. We arrived at the boarding house at 6 am and we were joyfully greeted at the reception desk, all the staff during the rest was so friendly that it was even surprising. All requests are answered immediately!
We liked the room, we had a triple without a loggia, wooden beds and bedside tables, parquet on the floor, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a wardrobe with hangers and a mirror. The beds are large enough and comfortable, the bed is clean. Garbage was collected every day, they asked if wet cleaning was needed. The only negative is that the hot water ended at 8 pm (((
The food in the dining room was very varied, although a buffet was declared, as such it was not. You could choose salads or vegetables, tea, coffee or porridge in the morning. And so everyone was given the same thing, but everything was cooked deliciously and there were always meat dishes, and fresh pastries for dinner. They also gave fruits, yogurt and sweets, which the children were happy about! A bus delivers from the beach 4 times a day, going down the stairs to the beach is quite difficult, but real. We were too lazy and we agreed with a taxi driver and for 20 UAH he took us to the sea every day. The beach is clean, there are sun loungers and a canopy. Outsiders are still allowed on the sanatorium beach, but few. No one smokes or litters on the beach.
The nature around is wonderful, the smell of pine needles is just awesome. I had never been to Alushta before, more and more went to Yalta, Alupka. I really liked to relax in the Druzhba boarding house and I also recommend it to everyone.

Pluses - this is its own territory with a variety of vegetation, including coniferous trees, which provide amazing air; magnificent view from the loggia (we lived on the 4th floor, sea view); air conditioning (at that time it was very hot, even at night about 25-26 gr. ); a fairly large room for 2 people (about 18m) good, spacious; there are blinds on the window, not dusty curtains; a large TV on a separate cabinet (and not a small one on the refrigerator, as in other boarding houses at the same price); quite comfortable beds, a large table, 2 chairs, a nightstand (although the furniture is old, still Soviet, but strong), refrigerator, large built-in wardrobe in the hall; amenities in the room and a shower cabin, not a shower tray with a curtain; on the loggia, also quite spacious, a table and 2 chairs. The 5-storey building has an elevator, which broke down only 2 times during our stay. Cons - bed linen is terrible, old. with incomprehensible stains, it's time to put towels on rags; the old refrigerator rattled so that at first they shuddered, and when it turned off, the same noise was heard very well from the next room (if you do not sleep well, then this test is not for you). Cleaning the room was reduced to taking out the garbage and a few movements with a dirty rag in the hallway. For the sake of interest, I did not begin to raise a patch of dust almost in the middle of the room by the TV, so it lay there for 5 days, then I threw it away. When asked about cleaning, an elderly cleaning lady swore that she always cleans, and when asked about the 2nd roll of toilet paper (about a week later), she was so sincerely surprised "you were given paper upon check-in, but no longer allowed. " I changed the linen 1 time (we lived 14 days), or rather, she brought it, and I took it off and covered it myself and there were even more incomprehensible spots on the "fresh" linen. You can’t even talk about cleaning the bathroom, it simply didn’t exist. Hot water according to the schedule, but it was not always respected, several times my daughter washed her hair with cold water, although according to the schedule, water should have been for another half an hour. I completely agree with others about nutrition, the portion size and "variety" can be experienced (the main thing is that there were no poisonings and intestinal disorders, which is more likely +), but the expectation of food and service is "3 with a minus" Interns worked, so that everything depended on the shift and the boss who led them, when it was better, when it was worse. And the 2 biggest minuses are the beach and the stairs to it. I tried to count the steps several times, but after 350 I got lost, and between them there are also several even sloping sections. The bus only took away from the beach (2 flights at lunch and 2 for dinner). It is small, there were a lot of people, it was hot, stuffy. And several times they even got into a "traffic jam" at the exit from the embankment. Theoretically, private cars are prohibited from entering the embankment, but, of course, people don’t care about this, and that’s where problems arose. There are a lot of people on the beach, apparently the guards were either very greedy or simply negligent in their work, because for the whole time we were asked to pass only 3 times. The sunbeds were only wooden in the shade, which were occupied early in the morning or even in the evening, and the plastic ones were only in the solarium on the breakwater for a fee (10 gr) and for the guests of the boarding house as well. A wooden path for descending into the sea (1 piece) appeared 3 days before our departure, before that it was not there (maybe it was before us? ). By the way, on the neighboring beach of the Kyiv sanatorium there were 3 times less people, and the paths were laid all the time, and the plastic sunbeds were free in a pile in large numbers (I don’t know if they were paid). As a result, if you have strong nerves, good health, you are not demanding in food and everyday life, you want to lose weight and train your legs and heart, then you can safely go to "Friendship".

We have been resting on Druzhba for 3 years in a row, we liked everything last year, but this year there was complete chaos. We rested in August 2012. The service in the dining room wants the best, in order to eat you had to wait for 15-20 minutes, then they forget to bring the first, then they forgot to put a fork, a spoon, appeals to vacationers are simply terrible. There was a case when we (and not only us, there were 11 of us then) went on excursions, we were supposed to be served 45 minutes earlier, everyone came, but the tables were empty, they gave only the first one and then not everyone, when asked when the second one from the kitchen would be sent affectionate words to x. . , in general, we went half hungry. They recruited interns for practice, they walk around the dining room and don’t know what to do. The beach is also a problem, in order to take a place you have to get up at 6 in the morning and run to take a queue. Many people took 2 or even 3 places for themselves, the security turned a blind eye to this, breakfast was at 8.30 people went to the beach closer to 9.30 by this time the guards let the left people in for money, the vacationers had no place to even stand. All in all, this year is awful.

My wonderful stay in the boarding house Druzhba. We lived in a suite on the 4th floor, the view from the balcony and from the room is gorgeous, the endless blue sea. The sea is clean, the people on their own beach are only from the boarding house and there is enough space for everyone, we looked at the city beach: it’s something, people are like in a barrel, I don’t know how you can swim there. The city is dirty, full of trash cans, apparently they don’t have time to get out, but there is a lot of greenery and the air is awesome. The embankment of the professor's corner is clean. The disadvantages include the stairs to the sea, somewhere open, somewhere broken off pieces, although it's not hard to go down, to go up with little effort. The administration and girls at the reception are always polite. Rest was a success.

Pros: Clean comfortable room, cleaning every day, varied menu, clean beach, free pick up from the sea by bus Cons: Not equipped, small beach (plastic sun loungers are paid), you need to take places in advance, come late - and you may not get a place by the sea ; in the dining room there are very small portions, a man can’t get enough, meat can be seen through a magnifying glass, fruits were given 3 times in 10 days (1 time for an apple, 2 times for a bunch of grapes), napkins on the bill, tea is the cheapest, 1 bag for 4 people, I am silent about coffee, they gave it 1 time that it was coffee, they understood only by smell, they diluted it like in kindergarten; they give out toilet paper 1 roll per check-in (i. … More ▾ Pros: Clean comfortable room, cleaning every day, varied menu, clean beach, free pick up from the sea by bus Cons: Not equipped, small beach (plastic sun loungers are paid), you need to take places in advance, come late - and you may not get a place by the sea ; in the dining room there are very small portions, a man can’t get enough, meat can be seen through a magnifying glass, fruits were given 3 times in 10 days (1 time for an apple, 2 times for a bunch of grapes), napkins on the bill, tea is the cheapest, 1 bag for 4 people, I am silent about coffee, they gave it 1 time that it was coffee, they understood only by smell, they diluted it like in kindergarten; they give out toilet paper 1 roll per check-in (i. e. if suddenly the paper runs out inopportunely, run to the store, which you still need to find), a trifle, but not pleasant, well, in general, the attitude is unimportant, they are rude, they take money for every sneeze, but In essence, the payment includes only accommodation, since the food is not so hot.

I rested with my wife and child in August 2011. I liked the location of the boarding house, the beach is just wonderful. Going down the stairs is not a problem. Rooms are comfortable, food is good. The portions are small, but oddly enough we were not hungry (there were several dishes). If you compare the "price-quality" - corresponds. … More ▾ I rested with my wife and child in August 2011. If you want to relax inexpensively and well - go to the boarding house "Druzhba".
