There is a gym. There is only a massage for a fee and it is $ 100. The staff is friendly and responsive to any request. But it would be desirable to thank at least 20 pesos)) Only compatriots can not pay)) All day there are some sessions, concerts in the evening are a must, lotteries, performances by artists... Various competitions are cool in the pool. The atmosphere is generally good and relaxed.

Settlement. We arrived around 21.00. Huge lobby with palm trees and fans. The administrator in English very quickly brought us up to date. Settled immediately, during the registration they were treated to fruits, cocktails. The contingent is mostly Americans, Canadians and Mexicans from the northern states. There are Europeans, but they are few. There are also Russian speakers, even fewer of them.
Number. We got number 326, with a view of the sea, which we did not get tired of admiring! Clean, comfortable, everything works: air conditioning, TV, hair dryer (remember the American type of sockets, our appliances need an adapter). Wi-Fi around the clock throughout the hotel, including the beach. On two devices - free of charge, on the third - for an extra charge. fee. The speed is great. Minibar - available (4 types of alcohol), in the fridge - beer, Pepsi, 7up, everything was regularly replenished. The room was cleaned daily, elephant seals were spun from towels after each cleaning. There are no insects, except bees in the corridors, which are very passive, do not fly or bite.
Food. We have not seen such diversity anywhere else. Seafood - do not count. Meat is a great choice. For breakfast - only from eggs there were about 10 dishes (white omelet, yolk omelette, poached eggs, etc. ). We did not go to a la carte restaurants, because in the main restaurant every day there were "a lacarte" dishes - sushi, rolls - from a Japanese restaurant, tortilla-quesadillas from a Mexican, meat - for every taste! Side dishes - we didn't even try everything. Wonderful desserts. Fruits and vegetables are delicious! Waiters are constantly running around - alcohol, white wine, red wine - without restrictions. I can't help but mention the Americans - such a choice of food, and they have french fries and hamburgers on their plates !!!!!! ! If you do not have time for breakfast or dinner due to excursions, the sports bar is open around the clock: tea, coffee, salads, sandwiches, desserts, fruits. There are also bars near the pools. There, in addition to drinks and snacks, a full meal - from the main restaurant. (By the way, the menu is also in Russian! )
Beach and area. The sea is amazing colors! Turquoise to dark blue. There was some algae floating around, but they didn't interfere. The air-sea temperature ratio is very comfortable. White fine sand on the beach. There are enough sun loungers for everyone - you don’t have to “according to the Turkish-Egyptian custom” run at dawn and occupy them with a towel. But! Birds fly both on the beach and on the territory of the hotel near the pools, so there are a lot of traces of their natural waste on the sunbeds. The staff, most likely, simply does not have time to wipe the sunbeds. Sellers of all sorts of things and service providers walk along the beach, but they are absolutely unobtrusive. Bar staff also walk around and constantly offer drinks or clean empty containers.
Animation. Very funny, groovy guys. You won't be bored! Endless volleyballs and polo in the pool, salsa in the sea, step aerobics, etc. , fun competitions for both adults and children. Foam parties in the pool. Well, the evening shows are generally something amazing! Professional, bright, spectacular. Great makeup and costumes.
Staff. There are no Russian speakers among the staff. Almost everyone speaks English, except for the maids. Welcoming, friendly, smiling, ready to help if needed.
Tours. We took two. The first is Ek-balam, Khubik cenote, pink lakes (flamingos), Rio Lagartos reserve (the crocodiles were very impressive! ). We left at 5.35 and returned at 23.45 (ie we had breakfast and dinner at the sports bar, lunch is included in the tour). The second is the ancient cities: Tulum, Coba, Chichen Itza, Cenote Ik-Kil. We stopped on the way to a Mayan village and a private tequila factory. The cost is from $165. But it's worth it! Amazing guides Emilio and Alexander!!!!!! ! Anyone, even the most indifferent, they will simply fall in love with these places! But, again, the road is long, we must be prepared for this.
Souvenirs were bought at the Walmart supermarket (we traveled to the city on our own by buses R1, R2, one-way fare - 12 pesos) and, oddly enough, on Chichen Itza, the main thing is to bargain to the bitter end, or rather, to the desired price.
We went to the Mayan Museum on the long side of the "seven" - I do not dissuade, but we did not like it. Well, except that there are a lot of monitor lizards in the archaeological zone of the museum.
Weather. Weather forecasts persistently frightened us with rain for the entire holiday period. But, in fact, for all the time it rained only 2 times. The first - one evening, when it was already dark, the second time it rained for an hour when we went on an excursion. Those. It didn't bother us either! A couple of times it was overcast, the sun was hiding behind the clouds, you went out.
Let's go back to the hotel. We definitely recommend the hotel!
Have a nice trip!

This is what my husband and I did. We didn’t even bother with choosing a hotel, because our friends visited Riu Caribe last year in autumn, and we just fell in love with this place from the stories and photos we brought. I may repeat myself, but the price-quality ratio of the hotel is just perfect. I'll try in order. We got to the place quite quickly and with air conditioning. They settled us even faster, in almost 20 minutes we were already laying out things in our room. We were given a room on the 7th floor. The room itself is large, clean, with a spacious balcony and amazing views of the Caribbean Sea. We went out onto the balcony, I look into the distance, and it seems that now the Black Pearl will emerge from around the corner of the building with Jack Sparrow on its nose))). The room may not be very new, but cozy. Cleaning every day, towel monograms regularly, and we left tips far from regular, the minibar is replenished every second day with everything you need, plain water, sweet soda, beer. Four different alcohols are also free. Shower hot and cold water without interruption. Shampoos, gels, soap are always in abundance. Towels and linen changed, everything is always clean and without unnecessary stains. In general, if we wanted to find fault, then there was nothing to do, or, unlike others, we came to rest, and not to look for shortcomings. The hotel has five a la carte restaurants. The food selection is great. For all the time, so everything has not been tried. By the way, you can sign up in any of them, at least every day. Diverse restaurants, Mexican, Asian, Steak House. In general, the assortment is no worse. Mountains of various fruits, in comparison with Egypt, it seemed like just a sea. Crabs, shrimps, octopuses, various fish. Seafood just overeat! And the bartenders made cocktails that were simply stunning, both literally and figuratively. Tequila and rum were simply not spared in them. Right at the hotel you can rent a car for the whole day, good and not expensive, it cost us $ 60. There was no point in bothering with excursions and buses at all. Jumped behind the wheel and to the city with shops 10-15 minutes. Cool and pretty cheap at least Walmart, at least American Plaza. In the markets, in general, you can bargain three times cheaper. We went to Chichen Itza, Tulum - these are the oldest pyramids in Mexico. Impressions of a lifetime, beauties! We also went to the beach to the ocean. The waves are huge! I only once plunged, I was more afraid. By the way, the hotel has a beach with practically no waves, quiet, calm, it is quite suitable for children. And the beach is good, without stones, with sand. Of course, sunbeds with umbrellas need to be taken early in the morning, but even then not always. Most of the people lie down by the pools. In short, we were mesmerized by Mexico! Awesome place!

There are few Russians, apparently few people know about such a cool hotel! Everyone is rushing closer to the open ocean to Dolphin Beach but in vain. We went once and really regretted it. The big waves are very uncomfortable to swim, maybe for surfers and a paradise, but we didn’t like it at all. But the beach at the hotel, although not very wide, is quite long and very comfortable. … More ▾ There are few Russians, apparently few people know about such a cool hotel! The big waves are very uncomfortable to swim, maybe for surfers and a paradise, but we didn’t like it at all. But the beach at the hotel, although not very wide, is quite long and very comfortable. From big waves protects the neighboring island. The beach is regularly cleaned very cleanly. Normal entrance to the water. The vodka is clean. The territory is very compact once the pool went down the forest and the beach. Very convenient, you don't have to go far. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. You do not need to take a place, there is always where to fall) Animation is a super lot of entertainment throughout the day and until late in the evening. In the evening there are many different competitions of show programs. Offer to go to a local club, we went a couple of times we liked it. Children's animation is also quite good. Children have fun in the evening at the children's disco. In general, the sea of fun. Plus there is a great spa. You can trust yourself to their masters. I’ll say a little about nutrition, so the choice is to always feed the child. They prepare a very tasty assortment of dishes. Not far from the hotel is a street full of bars. Of course, the hotel also has its drawbacks. The normal Internet is only a couple of hours a day, and it’s buggy, but you eat to relax and not sit in social networks) Rooms like rooms are nothing special, though, compared to the general chic, they could do something more exotic. But there are no complaints about the number. Regular and high-quality cleaning is still not Egypt) In short, we had a great rest, had fun from the heart and enjoyed the gorgeous sun and sea.

At the RIU CARIBE hotel in Cancun, we rested together with my husband for 10 days from February 8 to February 18. The trip was completely prepared by ourselves. On www. hotels. com booked a hotel. The trip was completely prepared by ourselves. On www. hotels. com booked a hotel. It turned out to be much cheaper. Flying with Delta via New York. Since America does not even provide visa-free transit, we made an American visa, and on the way back from Cancun we spent 5 days in New York.
In Moscow, before departure, a taxi was ordered a couple of weeks before the flight - a transfer to the hotel on the Mexican website www. cancun-airport. com (transfer to our hotel - $45,
from Cancun airport to the Riu Caribe hotel to go 20-30 minutes).

We liked the RIU CARIBE hotel. The food is just great! All inclusive justified itself! ! ! A lot, high quality, varied, tasty, neat, plus - good service.
The hotel is part of the RIU chain, which has 3 hotels in Cancun. (Those who live in RIU CARIBE can use the services of the RIU CANCUN hotel, which belongs to the same network. We went to it, walked - about an hour on foot. It is steeper and more expensive, but they say that the beach is smaller and worse.
Maybe, but the hotel itself is better).
RIU CARIBE is pretty worn and shabby, but it’s quite drawn to the four. The side rooms (from the ends of the building) have been recently renovated, they are clean and even beautiful. We were first settled there, but did not like the view from the window - a shabby lawn, Nechupte Bay, and a small, side "piece" of the sea.
At our insistent request, we were moved to a room with a sea view.
The view from the window was super, but the quality of the room decoration was noticeably different from the side room: the furniture is old, the walls are in anticipation of renovation, like “old school”. (All rooms with a frontal sea view have not been renovated for a long time).
The beach of the hotel is good! Even more. There are no waves, there are a lot of sunbeds, you don’t need to borrow anything. Sometimes there are algae near the shore, but they do not interfere with swimming, and they are removed every couple of days. Good bars, alcohol - "whatever you want". Well prepared cocktails.
We rented a car at the hotel for 3 days - Nissan Tilda - $ 78 per day with full insurance.
On the first day we went to Chichen Itza. I liked it very much! We did not even expect such an impression. On the 2nd day we were in Xcaret park. There are quite expensive tickets - $ 89 per person. On the 3rd day we went to Tulum. There on the seashore are the remains of an ancient Mayan city with a pyramid (smaller than in Chichen Itza). Beautiful place. Tickets are cheap - 5 pesos per person.
Currency exchange in the city, in shopping centers: Pesos are changed at 12.5 pesos for 1 dollar. To exchange, you must have a passport with you. When we were at the hotel, there was no currency exchange, but on the last day of our stay, there seemed to be a sign about the exchange rate at the reception.
Shops that you can go to yourself: Walmart (like Auchan) - I liked it, a huge supermarket - take a bus from the hotel for about 20 minutes, there is a stop at the hotel, bus R2, R27.
Las Americas Plaza - it has 2 good Nike departments, turned out to be no worse than in New York a week later (same models and same prices!
), and a huge network department like our Stockman in Mega (I don’t remember the name) - it turned out to be high-quality and inexpensive clothes (better than in New York) - the same stop, R27 bus, or a taxi (it costs something like 7-9 dollars).
In the middle of the long part of the "seven" (Hotelier zone) there is a large La Isla store - also not bad, we went to it ourselves by car, it has a circular multi-storey parking at its end, there are always places.
Hotel Riu Caribe, Cancun, and Mexico we liked. Have a nice rest!

Was in this hotel for a conference. I really liked the rest in the format of a big cheerful company. What does the company need? Correctly! Bar! And with this, everything is fine in the hotel. This is not Turkey and Egypt. The selection of drinks is excellent. The food is wonderful, good selection, everything is delicious. … More ▾ Was in this hotel for a conference.
