Rested in Cyprus with a girlfriend from 1 to 8 June 2014. Operator Newstravel.
Cyprus met with sun and wind. It was windy almost every day, but the wind was warm. It is better to take panamas with strings so that they do not blow away.
Accommodation and number:
Settled in 10 minutes - we arrived at the hotel alone.
The guys immediately picked up our suitcases and delivered to the room for which they received their tips.
We could not turn on the light in the room, it turned out that the plugs were knocked out. The problem was solved right away.
The hotel is good but old. On an almost white laminate, worn areas blacken, the ventilation grill is not plastered normally, cracks in the marble sink. But then we got used to it and it didn't bother us.
The first night was terrible - there was a disco in the room next door with loud music, screaming and slamming doors so that it seemed that the hotel was made of cardboard. We were tired from the road and even slept a little with all this.
They did not reach the reception - they tried to turn off the light in their room on the electric meter. Did not work out. After a while, they subsided on their own (maybe others reached the respshina) and we slept the rest of the night.
The room has air conditioning with 3 modes: strong, medium, weak. Looks like a bedside table or a record player. It cools OK, but we practically didn’t turn it on - it wasn’t hot. +25-29.
The hotel is mostly older European couples. There were few young people.
Food:
We had HB. Breakfast - Swedish table. good, normal juices, not UPI. The cook fries eggs or scrambled eggs at will. There has always been scrambled eggs. Simply gorgeous bacon. The waiters brought tea / coffee in a teapot and you could make yourself coffee from the coffee machine. It was possible to have breakfast on the street overlooking the sea (but in a blouse, because it's windy).
Dinner - on the menu, the dishes are brought by the waiters. On 1st and 2nd you order a choice of three offers (salad bar as one of the choices on both 1st and 2nd).
For dinner, soup (do not take onion - a terrible muck) and a buffet of fruits and desserts.
In addition to onion soup, everything is exceptionally tasty and of high quality, exquisite even for example. figs and pine nuts in the salad.
Drinks at dinner are paid. Eg. tea 3.50 euros is just a mug of boiling water with a tea bag. Exactly the same bag is in the room - tea and coffee bags in the room - free of charge.
Tours:
We didn't go. In Paphos - 65 euros without lunch. For 14 euros we took a bus to Larnaca, and then to Limamol and back. It was possible to get to Paphos by bus, but you need to leave early - it takes 3.5-4 hours.
We walked around the city. From Nissi Beach near the Adams Beach Hotel, you can walk along the beach to our hotel in about an hour of leisurely walking. There is a path, you can also bike.
We rented a bike for 5 euros per day and went to Protaras - a nearby town, about 10 km from Ayia Napa.
There are paths on the side for cyclists, a beautiful road, it's a pleasure to ride. On the way back there is a section where you have to go uphill. We drove for about an hour one way. I liked Protaras very much - I recommend to see it. You can also take a bus. Check the schedule at bus stops and plan your trips.
Sea and beach:
The sea is gorgeous and clean. There were waves with lamb almost every day. White sand (volcanic gray in Larnaca). 2 sun loungers and an umbrella on the beach near the sea 7.50 euros per day. The beach is very cozy, attracts people, especially to the area with sand near the sunbeds. But if you lie on sunbeds, it doesn't seem so crowded.
There is a beach on a hill from the sea - this is the beach of the hotel itself. There are sun loungers for free, but to swim, you have to go down a little to the sea. And it was more windy here than down by the sea.
Everywhere they speak Russian, the menu is in Russian, and mostly Russians have a rest.
Pros:
- a chic cozy beach near the hotel
- hotel beach with free sun loungers
- amazingly delicious bacon for breakfast and juices
- friendly, helpful staff
- Dinners in a restaurant with waiter service
- delicious meals for dinner
- wi-fi in the room and lobby (although I didn’t catch it on my iphone 5 in the room; I caught it with my girlfriend with iphone 5s)
Minuses:
- a bit old repair and furniture in the room
- Complimentary drinks at dinner

A good hotel - a solid 4 *, located on the first line 1 km. from the center of Ayia Napa with many clubs. The hotel welcomes you with a modest lobby but then impresses with its internal content (beautiful restaurant with a panoramic view of the sea, a cozy green area, a wonderful terrace in flowers with sofas, clean comfortable rooms, etc.

The hotel has a hair dryer, a safe and free Wi-Fi in the rooms. The beach is sandy, the sea is shallow, umbrellas and sun loungers are paid, towels are free. The hotel has a spa, jacuzzi, sauna; for sports lovers: tennis court, water sports (extra charge); for children: swimming pool, kids club and many other entertainments. Meals: breakfast, half board or board. The food is fresh and tasty. Good for almost all categories of tourists, great for a family, quiet holiday.

The hotel is small, with a good area for recreation, comfortable for a relaxing pastime, located 25-30 minutes walk from the center of the resort and the street of bars. There is an area with sun loungers both by the pool and under the trees, which makes it possible to lie in the shade, since in July the temperature is up to + 40C, you need to go down the stairs to the sea and the beach is paid.

There is an area with sun loungers both by the pool and under the trees, which makes it possible to lie in the shade, since in July the temperature is up to + 40C, you need to go down the stairs to the sea and the beach is paid. But it doesn't bother.
The restaurant is à la carte and only twice a week full buffet. The food is tasty. All drinks are paid, except for breakfast.
The staff is very responsive and pleasant, a Russian girl Julia works at the reception.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious, cleaned every day, there is a kettle, tea and coffee bags for free. Water can be bought in supermarkets. The most inexpensive one is a 10-minute walk towards the center, opposite the Teremok restaurant.
There is practically no entertainment in the hotel, so it is better to go to the city center, where there are many shops, bars, discos - whoever needs what. The bus fare costs 1 euro, you can travel all day on one ticket.
We chose Real Cyprus from the excursions, but I want to note that the road to the monastery, which is located very picturesquely in the mountains, is quite unpleasant, the children can get sick, but everyone perked up after dinner with local wine, then there were only shops. Therefore, the tour will be interesting for those who have practically never been abroad and have seen little, because. the total time for joining the beautiful is 1.5 hours no more.
The hotel is suitable for those who want a relaxing holiday after a stormy night in bars and discos! ))

And know the most important thing on vacation is the company and a good cozy hotel, and everything else is almost the same as in any other resort.

I really liked the hotel, it fully justifies its 4 * by European standards. Well, first things first:
1. Location:
The hotel is located in a very picturesque place of Ayia Napa (50 km from the airport in Larnaca), and we did not fail with the choice of the beach - white sand and clear sea. Most of the beaches in Cyprus are municipal, i. e. sun loungers and umbrellas are paid. The hotel has free sun loungers both around the pool and on the sandy beach, which is located on a hill and you can go down to the sea by a small staircase. But in my opinion this is a huge plus, because from the hill on which the sandy beach is located, there is a magnificent view of the sea and the surrounding area. The entrance to the water is very convenient for 25-30 m shallow depth, which is good for both children and for playing in the water.
2. Nutrition:
English breakfast buffet. For dinner, the menu is quite varied, very tasty desserts, fruits are available both for breakfast and for dinner. You can easily change dinner for lunch if you want to dine in the city. All drinks except breakfast are paid, and the prices are very high. For example, a 0.5 liter bottle of water in the room minibar costs 1.10 Cypriot pounds, which is approximately equal to 75 rubles. We bought water in the city supermarket, where 5 liters costs 2.5 - 3 pounds.
3. On the territory of the hotel:
The rooms are large, large balconies on the 1st and 2nd floors overlooking the sea. If you want to have a room with a sea view, solve this issue immediately here when you book a hotel. We paid extra 150 euros for a full sea view. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels are changed every day, bed linen 2 times a week, a safe in the room is free of charge, but you need to take the key to the reception. One feature: in the room there are euro sockets, our adapters do not fit, again at the reception you can take a 3rd adapter for a deposit of 1 pound. There are Russian-speaking staff, both at the reception and in restaurants, so if anything, please contact us, they will always help and prompt. In general, the hotel staff is very friendly, all our requests were fulfilled without any problems. The area around the hotel is very well maintained.
There is no special entertainment in the hotel, for this you need to go to the city.
Negative:
- sunbeds in the hotel had to be borrowed from the very morning, from 7 o'clock, because a lot of Germans rest in the hotel, and they are early birds and keep larger and larger groups. In general, one smart pensioner from the above-mentioned Germany came out every morning at 6.30 am with 20 towels and scored 20 sunbeds, respectively.
- cigarettes in Cyprus are very expensive, even at the airport, and only 1 block per person is allowed to be imported, we had 4 blocks bought in Moscow DF for two, and we had to pay 15 pounds to pick them up, and the alternative we had to leave them there in the form of a present to airport employees, I decided that it would be better to pay a fine than leave them anything, they behaved very cheekily. And in general, as we were later told, the fewer packages you have in your hands, the more chances that you will not be searched.
