I wanted to leave a review about the hotel where I spent my recent vacation. I will dilute with a fly in the ointment, positive reviews about the hotel. I chose Faros 3 * according to the reviews of tourists. I stopped at it right away, as most of the tourists spoke very enthusiastically about the hotel. Upon arrival, I was disappointed. It seemed to me that the reviews were written by people who had never rested in Europe. The hotel is located in a very noisy place, around night summer cafes, a road along which motorcyclists and motorists rush all night. I slept for two nights with cotton in my ears, after which I asked the receptionist to change my room to Garden Suite. It was much quieter.... relatively quieter. Although in the evening the same noise from the cafe, the road and Lunopark. Why most of the former residents of the hotel liked the location of Pharos is still a mystery to me. All prestigious hotels are always located outside the city, and far from the port. Although the sea is clean, I tried to get away from the waste, as the water you understand....The rooms are not new, although they are quite acceptable for a triple. Cleaned up daily. The food was just as good. The staff speaks Russian. For me, this is rather a minus, but I think that for most Russians this will be a plus. In general, the cost of the hotel is equal to the cost of the four, which in my opinion is absolutely not justified. 80% of the hotel is Russians. Even Russian music in the hall sounded often. In general, I am somewhat disappointed with Cyprus. 6 months ago I was in Greece and expected the same from Cyprus. But the nature turned out to be worse, the service worse, the people rude and prone to cheating, and the prices are higher. Here the sea and the beaches are really good! What is important for vacationers with children. And club lovers will be delighted. Well, in summary: I will not recommend the hotel to friends, as well as to people accustomed to good fours in Europe. I saw a lot of cheaper triplets and located in really good places. Although those who want to plunge headlong into the nightlife, even during sleep, and communicate with compatriots, I think they will be satisfied.
