P. S. Special thanks to the administrator Lyudmila and Georgy (we do not know the position)...
The road from the airport was not close. We got to the hotel in about 2.5 hours, with a transfer from a large bus to a small one. My daughter slept all the time during our journey, so in principle she was not tired. We arrived around 12 noon. At the reception we were met by Natalia - our hotel guide. She told us everything in detail about the hotel, put bracelets on us and told us to check into the rooms after 14:00. We went to a snack bar, had ice cream there, and then went straight for lunch. The restaurant in the hotel is large, with a terrace overlooking the sea. Large selection of food, I will not enumerate - everything is there. And fruits, and vegetables, and meat, and pasta, and pizza.
Then they put us in a room. We booked a standard double room with a sea view. And it turned out that these rooms are located on a hill, uphill. One family that came with us started arguing at the reception that it was too high and did not want to check in. Well, in principle, there is a rise, of course, but a huge plus is that there is a gorgeous view of the sea and it is cool. We were very satisfied. Therefore, if you do not like to go to the slides, do not book the standards. But the slide is not terrible, believe me, but useful, gymnastics after eating in a restaurant. The rooms are all new, renovated, everything you need is in the rooms. Hairdryer, TV, air conditioning, safe, small balcony with table and chairs.
On the beach there is sand, clean water, a bar. We spent almost all of our time at sea. We went, of course, to the town of Ouranoupoli, it is about 3 km from the hotel, we went on the shuttle bus of the hotel. We went to the magnificent island of Ammouliani opposite, here we got by bus to the port (bus 1.80 euros, the port is about 3 km from the hotel) and there we sailed on the ferry to the island (the ferry runs every half an hour, costs 2.5 euros one way and floats only 15 minutes). So we were happy with our vacation. We will definitely visit this hotel again.
The food is excellent and it is impossible to stop)) from Russian dishes I met something similar to vinaigrette and olivier (only without meat), almost all soups here are in the form of mashed potatoes. Side dishes of 5-6 types, from meat chicken, turkey, duck, pork (even suckling pig was served), beef, sometimes lamb. From cereals, the children ate oatmeal with milk or semolina, Greek yogurt (it is not sweet and without additives). Of the fruits were peaches, apples, apricots, nectarines, watermelons, melons, oranges. Everything is always fresh, beautiful table setting, cozy restaurant. There are swimming pools, one of them with a children's section, the cleanliness of the pools is carefully monitored, the smell of bleach is not strong. There are sun loungers next to the pool and a bar. In the Spa were not, unfortunately, I can not write anything.
Animation at an average level, because there was no Russian-speaking, but there were always Grecoleto girls, the child spent all day in the children's room.
The hotel has a small church, in the village of Ouranopolis (2 km from the hotel) there is a church of Saints Constantine and Helena. The town is small, in the evening it is nice to take a walk, eat ice cream or dine in one of the traditional taverns. We had a wonderful rest, everything suited us, the only negative is the long road from the airport (approximately 2.5 hours), so I definitely advise you to take an individual transfer, which we did on the way back. Thanks for the great service.
The territory of the hotel is huge, a lot of greenery, beautiful palm trees, flowers, various shrubs, trees with citrus fruits and an apple tree, olive trees, the fruits of which can be tasted during lunch or dinner. The owner of the hotel himself pickles olives and olives.
Very nicely done playground, children's animation room, which is located in the lower part of the hotel, among the trees, as well as several sports fields and an adults-only pool with a children's section.
We lived in a two-story Maisonette room. Very nice room with a beautiful sea view, with a new interior in a minimalist style. It was located above the hotel reception. The rooms provide bottled water upon entry, there is also a safe - free of charge and bath accessories.
The food at the hotel is quite varied, a large selection of dishes, there is fast food, traditional Greek dishes, delicious desserts, snacks and a great abundance of seasonal fruits. In the evenings, the hotel organizes different evenings, but mostly animation is in English.
The beach near the hotel is small, but there is enough space for everyone, sunbeds are free, there is also a shower and tap, toilets. Not far from the beach there is a water center, on the second day we rode on parachutes, got inexpressible pleasure.
In general, we liked the hotel and the area where you could go at any time.
Of course, we drove from the airport for a long time. But we had a good driver, Nikolai. On the way, he talked about the area and what you can do on Athos. We arrived at the hotel, we were met by hotel guides Mouzenidis - Maria, Natalia and Nadia. We liked it very much, first of all, they are friendly - it's very nice when you come and you are greeted with a smile on your face and with kind eyes. You immediately understand that everything will be fine and that you always have support in case of any problems. We were given all-inclusive bracelets and told to wait until 14:00 check-in.
We went to see the pool and the beach. I liked everything right away. There were a lot of people at the pool, mostly with children, and so we went down to the bar on the beach, ordered a Greek coffee - Frappe. The hotel's beautiful beach, sand, clear water, a view of the islet of Ammouliani, and a lot of free space.
In general, the settlement went well. We were put in a standard room, they gave us the 200th room, with a view of the sea.
I had to go up the hill, but I would not say that it was too high. The territory of the hotel itself is all uphill. A bit hard to walk from the beach. Especially when you go to lunch, in the hottest time. But not as critical as I read in the reviews. Of course, if there are health problems, then it’s already hard here. But this can be taken care of in advance when booking.
The room we had was nice, fresh and with a great view. There were no damages in the room. Air con worked well, tv and hair dryer too, cleaned every day from about 2 to 3. We returned to the room to rest and it was clean.
The food is also great in the restaurant. There was everything you need, and meat and seafood and fruits in large quantities, desserts you want. All liked it.
We went to the city of Ouranoupoli (the nearest settlement, about 4 km) on a hotel bus that runs 3 times a day for 1 euro.
My son went to Athos, I bought the Holy Athos Cruise from the girls of the hotel guides and a tour of the Holy Places of Thessaloniki with a stop at the monastery of St. John the Evangelist, where the grave of Elder Paisios is located.
The impressions from the rest were the best! All well done, and hotel guides, and hotel staff. We will definitely come back here again, because we had very few days of rest and did not have time to see everything, and the area on Athos is wonderful and interesting.
The territory here is large, it was where after dinner to walk, the child to run, a lot of greenery and flowers.
We booked a standard room, but to our joy at the reception they made us up grade, that is, we were given a room one category higher. The room was two-story, which made us very happy, all the furniture was new, the bedding was fresh, clean, a pleasant aroma in the room. And most importantly, every evening we could enjoy the sunset and beautiful sea views from our balcony. The view is simply gorgeous.
The restaurant in the hotel is very large, and the same large selection of delicious hot dishes, salads, snacks, various cold cuts, cheeses, olives, fruits and sweets. It was also possible to have snacks and various snacks at the bar near the pool and on the beach, which is very convenient, since we came with a child.
The beach is very good, sandy, well-groomed, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. The sea is clean and beautiful turquoise color.
Every day around the pool there were various animation programs for both adults and children. Our daughter really liked the mini disco, every evening there was a lot of joy and a lot of positive emotions. My husband and I liked the Greek evening with traditional dances and live music. It was very colorful.
The hotel staff is pleasant, all polite and hospitable.
During the rest, we went on a cruise around Athos, and also rented a car, drove around Sithonia and went to Thessaloniki. We all liked it very much, we will advise this hotel to all relatives and friends and we will definitely come here again next year. Thanks.
The hotel grounds cascade down to the beach. The beach is very good, comfortable, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, the water is crystal clear and soft. From the sea in full delight! ))
The room is spacious, it is one room with a double bed. The view from the window is great! Everything for a comfortable stay is there. The room is clean, cleaned well. In general, our expectations regarding the living conditions were justified.
The food is excellent, buffet style. Large assortment of fish, meat dishes, vegetables, fruits, sweets, drinks. You can also have lunch at the hotel in a tavern or go to Ouranoupoli, which is nearby.
The hotel staff is polite and friendly. All necessary background information can be obtained from the hotel.
There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the Enigma Shopping Centre. We bought a lot of natural cosmetics, coffee, wine, some things there.
It was the first time in Greece, and I hope not the last, everything is fine, we really liked it here!
The beach here is wonderful, the sea is clear, azure, the sand, sunbeds and umbrellas are good, free, there is a bar on the beach where you can take drinks. We had a wonderful rest, returned home tanned and happy! We want to come back here, but already in the company with dad!
