Several times they blocked a certain amount a couple of days before checking into expensive hotels, then returned it, but to block (or withdraw? ) money in 1.5 months, I see this for the first time. Now the situation is so unstable due to covid, for example, a month before I move in, I don’t know for sure whether I will go or not. Therefore, I book a hotel with b/n cancellation and without prepayment, but the booking price in this case is 1.5 times higher; The hotel has included its risks in this price. We were greeted with a welcome cocktail and wet towels, which, after a long and tiring transfer, is just right. It took a little time to fill out the questionnaire, took our keys to the bungalow from the ocean, got into the electric car and in a few minutes we were in a personal little paradise. The hotel has one Russian speaking guide. Although he speaks our language rather poorly, but this was quite enough to resolve all minor issues and requests for the entire period of our holiday. In general, the choice to the Maldives was not accidental, since this vacation fell on the anniversary of our wedding. The hotel works, among other things, also according to the All system, which solves many problems with drinks, food and alcohol. The price tag for alcohol is not low, but you can take a couple of bottles from duty free with you, since it is all locally produced on the island. The skeleton where our hotel was located, for the Maldives, one might even say big. There are about ten bars and various restaurants scattered around the territory, including the main one. We rode around the territory on free bikes provided to us, which was very helpful. Some of the services we really liked. Cash is not needed, except for tips, everything is recorded on the room and paid upon departure. Our bungalow had its own table and a waiter who knew all our preferences, as well as sunbeds by the pool and a pool fight. Mosquitoes sometimes bitten on the island in the evenings, but several times a week they were poisoned all over the island. When checking into the room, we found several large red ants, but by the evening they were gone. The room was cleaned twice a day, but the bedding was replaced for us only once during the entire vacation. Perhaps these were the only drawbacks, but otherwise we had a second honeymoon!

The bars on the ocean were impressive, the food is delicious, though it is not clear why there is so little seafood in the middle of the ocean. I really liked the cleaning in the room and the change of towels, it is not noticeable at all and it is very pleasant that the towels are always dry and clean. We lived just opposite the water bungalows, there was a strange feeling when it started to rain.... we thought it was completely covered with a wave, the rain drummed so hard on the roof)))))) The beach is almost empty, sometimes a bird will scream or a couple in love will pass by, take a photo))) In the restaurant, tables are registered under your number (this is very convenient, the table is always you waiting), the waiter Faya, a guy from Male, big respect to him for the excellent service! ) On the last day, we were set a table all in flowers, it was sad to leave, but also nice from the attention! ))) We went on an excursion to the village-island of Fenfushi, it seemed interesting to see how the natives live in the villages in the ocean, but it's not worth it. There was no shopping, there was no Russian-speaking guide. . . In the hotel, from entertainment every day, feeding of sharks and rays. Captivating! ) But then it’s scary to swim during the day, as you remember how huge they are with evil muzzles and tails. You can even stroke the stingrays, they are waiting for their portion of food in a crowd right under their feet! ) The coral reef was just opposite our bungalows, the water is clean and transparent, so you can clearly see all the inhabitants of the ocean, fish of all colors of the rainbow, both large and small. So, stock up on masks! ) I also really liked walking around the island, we saw their gardens, and flying dogs hanging upside down on trees. I liked the island on which the hotel is located, a large green very well-groomed area, everything breathes and lives, I even met exotic birds on the territory of the hotel, the bungalows are not bad, I would like a little more modern renovation. The food at the hotel was excellent, I had the HB package, food in the morning and evening is enough for me. If you buy something outside the package, the prices are a bit high. The hotel staff is very smiling and friendly, I would put a separate plus for the service. As for diving, I can say that the reef is not quite close to the shore, I don’t know how anyone, but I didn’t particularly like sailing away from the shore. It was boring to rest without a couple, so next time I will definitely return with my wife. I felt like Robinson.
