The city of Lloret de Mar is more of a youth resort, a lot of discos, and European youth hanging out. There are also people of middle and old age, the resort is clearly not for couples with children, the first reason for this is the beach - two steps and the depth of the sea is approximately a belt . . ) The coastline is wide, there are enough people, but personal space is respected. Umbrella, sun lounger for 5 euros, although I don’t see the need for this, you can buy an umbrella in shops from 4.95 euros and use it all your vacation . . The only drawback is there are no changing rooms, only toilets.
After the airport, we were taken to the nearest place to the hotel (but since the streets in the center are very narrow, and a large bus will not be able to get to the hotel) - we were asked to transfer to the hotel's car for 8 people and taken to the hotel.
The hotel is good, for two weeks of our stay in this hotel,
there was nothing to complain about. The appearance of the hotel, the condition of the rooms, the food, the cleaning in the room, the service at a decent level.
The hotel has an excellent location: 5-7 minutes leisurely walk to the sea and 5 minutes to the bus station. Believe me, it's better to walk to the sea in the morning than to listen to the noise of discos on the first coastline all night.
The central air conditioner worked perfectly, although we did not use it at night, the temperature was comfortable for sleeping.
The TV is not big, there is the first channel, and other foreign channels, both in order to watch the news once a week - more than enough, perhaps for those who go to the hotel to watch TV it will seem small.
The bathroom is a separate respect, sq. meters 6 averno,
spacious, clean, with a huge mirror, it was very pleasant to be in it.
The hotel has free WiFi in the lobby - you can get the password at the reception.
The hotel bar periodically hosted some kind of events, concerts.
In the courtyard of the hotel there is a spa area, two swimming pools and a shower with sun loungers, you can sunbathe, it's very cozy inside.
Breakfast from 7:30-10; dinners from 19-22 (we did not take lunch)
For breakfast, the choice was quite normal: several types of scrambled eggs, bacon, 2-3 types of sausages, bread, vegetables, a couple of types
sausages and cheeses, incl. cheese "Philadelphia" and with blue mold : ) 3-4 types of yogurt, milk and breakfast cereals, puff pastries,
croissants, fruits, coffee, cappuccino, chocolate, tea, juices, butter, jam, honey, nutella, etc.
But dinners were not repeated more than once in 2 weeks.
The level of cooking "at home" everything is delicious, done
soundly, pork, beef, chicken, rabbit, lamb, liver, fish, cutlets, steaks, meat on the ribs, shish kebab . . and so on.
Every evening: a choice of several types of meat (3-4 types), garnish (3-4 types) french fries, spaghetti, grilled or baked vegetables, snacks such as eggplant fries, pickles, fresh vegetables for salad, seasonings, cheeses, sausages , also fruit, dessert, cakes, pastries, ice cream.
Drinks for dinner are paid: sangria 1/2 liter 4 euros, beer 2 euros, water / cola 1.5 euros, but no one forces them to take.
I highly recommend sangria, in the hotel it tastes even better than in some cafes.
To have time to see everything - you can buy excursions (from 25 to 60 euros, if France or Monaco, Nice for 2 days, then 200 euros);
you can rent a car at the nearby Olympia Express station - a small car for 4 people about 50 euros / day + insurance 5-7 euros + deposit for a car 100 euros / day. For those who are planning to rent a car, I want to note that the hotel has underground parking, if I'm not mistaken, it's free.
Or you can take bus number 6 from / from the city of Blanes to Barcelona for 8 euros.
All excursions through Natalie Tours are well organized, interesting, the only thing I do not recommend is bullfighting,
the spectacle is not for the faint of heart, this is not a harmless show at all, but
mocking killing of animals, thank God that bullfighting is closed next year!
